Is it possible to have the Portfolio not rotating? And can I use the Homepage as Portfoliopage as well?

And one other thing. If I want to send a deeplink of a special portfolio item to sb, theres no close button in the project page….

cool! one thing, that i found irritating is the option to select a specific category in the portfolio. that filter option is great, but that the filtered items stays in place is not the best solution for usability. so in some cases the user has to scroll all the way down or through the list with the arrows to find the filteres item. It would be perfect, when the filtered items would slide up so it’s just a small mouse movement to click tem. maybe you can change this. then i would purchase immediately!

Well I’ll try if I could create something like this.

this would be very cool! take a look at the sorting function of this theme: http://themes.ydimitrov.eu/minimal-desire/?page_id=12

this is great!

Hi !

nice job! look awesome!

can you use your own flv file in the portfolio? like a flash game for example..

thank you

Sure, I can’t see any problem with it.

Wow! Very simple, very clean Design, very god job!

Let me ask you some questions…

- is in the white variation a option to change the colour from the portfolio-block or blog-post? (now its in grey, as an exampel, i like it in blck with white text…

- can i make the blog-post to a full with block page?

- can i use the mp3 player also in a portfolio-detail page?

sorry, i have to many questions, but its really a very nice theme.

thanks + greetings from germany

Thanks, and no problem:

1) I didn’t wanted to fill theme with too many (unnecessary) options so you can only change color scheme from backend, not actual colors. Excluding font color which changeable. But of course you can change all the colors in css files.

2) Every page and post has option to choose custom page layout. So with or without a sidebar.

3) You can use the same audio player in projects like in blog posts.

Fantastic work – unique, creative – all the best with sales!

can i use the blog page as the first (HOME) page?? btw…wow…super clean and nice design! bookmarked!!

And yes, you should be able to do it.

Hi Samuli!

I’m having trouble installing the theme, I’m getting this error:

Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: Unable to access /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/Light/style.css in /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4339

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4345

Any ideas?

I may have just installed the theme wrong…

If you follow every step in A. 2) Upload the Theme section in documentation, there’s shouldn’t be any problems with installation.

Awesome design – great work!

Great Job! Is it possible to keep the menu bar “all/Logo/misc/mobile/web” ‘extended or open…

I also agree with @benzrecording that the “filter option is great, but that the filtered items stays in place is not the best solution for usability. so in some cases the user has to scroll all the way down or through the list with the arrows to find the filteres item.It would be perfect, when the filtered items would slide up so it’s just a small mouse movement to click them”

Still thinking of purchasing it.

With a little editing, it’s possible to keep categories bar always open.

And I’ll try if I could create this “feature”.

I made up my mind, if you do the filter feature (as three others requested), I will buy it :o)

I’d have to agree with benzrecording and mbftranslations, if the user didn’t have to scroll after it’s filtered, I’d purchase this right away.

Otherwise, great job. Good timing considering I’ve been looking for something just like this.

Check my previous reply.

if you do the filter “feature”, I will buy twice! lol

Great theme, good work!

The drop down menu is not working correctly in Firefox 3.6.23 (Mac osx 10.5.8).

What exactly is wrong with it?

I don’t have Mac so I can’t check this issue.

Can a custom logo be used instead of the type (i.e. replace “Awesome” with a png)?

Thanks! Sean

Click Insert Shortcode button in Visual Editor, select either of Template Tags shortcode and you can see they have two optional attributes; title and count.

And if you are willing to edit some CSS , then yes you can remove the grey background from blog posts.

Thanks again! Great theme and support!

No problem and I’m glad if you like it! :)

Hi Smuliii,

I’ve bought the theme but on a complete load of the home page and every page where there is a project slider, it appears momentarily before disappearing completely.

Any idea why this is happening?

This happens because haven’t selected featured image for all projects. But I will fix this bug in next update, which will be released within a few days (perhaps even today).

Hi Smuliii,

Great job on the theme. I bought it, total time-saver! One thing though. I kept having a canvas error when trying to click on an image to display a project on the Home page. Console ouput: Uncaught Error: INDEX _SIZE_ERR: DOM Exception 1

I had to change the code slightly in custom-js.php to ensure the canvas operations in the greyscale() function would only trigger when source images were ready.

The body of the function became:

var canvas = document.createElement('canvas'); var ctx = canvas.getContext('2d'); var imgObj = new Image(); imgObj.onload = function() { canvas.width = imgObj.width; canvas.height = imgObj.height; ctx.drawImage(imgObj, 0, 0); var imgPixels = ctx.getImageData(0, 0, canvas.width, canvas.height); for(var y = 0; y < imgPixels.height; y++){ for(var x = 0; x < imgPixels.width; x++){ var i = (y * 4) * imgPixels.width + x * 4; var avg = (imgPixels.data[i] + imgPixels.data[i + 1] + imgPixels.data[i + 2]) / 3; imgPixels.data[i] = avg; imgPixels.data[i + 1] = avg; imgPixels.data[i + 2] = avg; } } ctx.putImageData(imgPixels, 0, 0, 0, 0, imgPixels.width, imgPixels.height); return canvas.toDataURL(); }; imgObj.src = src;

(Edit: sorry for the bulky output of the code) No more of this bug so far.

Again, thanks for the great theme!

Hi, thanks for informing me for it. Will be fixed in the next version.

Hi !

i’ve the same trouble as Mayankg, the project slider disappear in a second, although i’m using the Dummy content so it contains featured image… where does it come from ?

ps : in your v2, could you please be more specific in the way to create home sliders. thanks !

Like I replied to mayankg, this happens because you haven’t selected featured images for all the projects, which is quite crucial for this slider.

You just need to insert [projects_slider] shortcode to any page to create projects slider.

heres is the firefox bug in mac browsers: http://vimeo.com/31455074

Okay thanks, I will upload update later today.

This was causing this bug: http://bugs.jquery.com/ticket/7245

Really nice!

I have one question, if you click on a project, and choose 2 of 2, the sliders is coming up form the bottom. Is it possible that you can fade that?

Very nice theme!

You could just change slideUp and slideDown methods to fadeIn and fadeOut to change the effect in custom-js.php file. Single projects part start at line 475.

i have problem with menu. http://new.machosting.sk/ http://cloud.marek.vach.sk/2g3h071r3h2C3z3S3f1r

can you advise where the problem?

edit: ups, I discovered the problem :) sorry

Ahhhhhhhh! I accidentally bought the wordpress version a couple minutes ago and I wanted the HTML version. Is there any way I could switch or get the HTML version??

Oh, sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I can’t help you with refund issues so you have send message to Envato’s support team: http://themeforest.net/support
