When the WooCommerce compatibility coming??

dan_fisher

Hi treon,
It’s hard to say when it will be ready. We’re working on it.
Thanks!

when a babysitter has been hired shouldn’t it say ” hired” or “babysitter not available”? its says something like position filled. Also in the the job listings they’re not actually job listing but more like profiles of the babysitter displaying their resumes. Correct me if I’m wrong, the babysitters post their profiles and parents look through the profiles to hire someone.

Hi sterlingt,
Thanks for your feedback. You’re definitely right. But this theme made on WP Job Manager plugin and its core feature is job listing. However we’re working on a new version of Babysitter Theme and these issue will be fixe.
Thank you!

Nice theme by the way!

Thanks :)

Hi, quick pre purchase questions;

1) Payment system – any way to charge users for using the site in anyway?

2) Is it possible to put a search field on the home page? Such as a enter location or choose location and then a “find carers” button which will then show them a listing of all carers in that location?

3) when going to hire a babysitter, you have to login before you can view their full details such as contact details.

4) possible to put map location of where the sitter lives,on their profile. should they choose to put it on the map?

Thanks, theme looks lovely.

5) feedback – possible to leave feedback for both babysitter and parents.

Hi TheBauer,
Sorry for this huge delay.
  1. You need to use third-party plugin for this. For example this Simple Paid Listings https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/simple-paid-listings/
  2. This feature is in our update list.
  3. Can be done with third-party plugins.
  4. Should be done in next update.
  5. This feature is in our update list.
Thanks!

Hi, I want to know some things. I want to implement this template service for carers at home. That attendees need to register and leave their data, as well as of the housewives who are looking for their services. Is it possible to do this with the template?

Sorry if I did not explain well, use google translate.

Daniel.

Hi dmaurelc,
Current version of the theme can handle just one type of users (only carers). We’re working on a new version which will have two types of users (carers and parents).
Thanks!

Thanks, I’m really interested in what you are working now, that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

On the listing page where it states “hire now” can you change this so it directs to Paypal for payment?

If so, can you also add the option for the person buying the service to add the total number of hours required.

In fact, could you possible direct it to a contact form first, whereby the person buying the service can enter the date, start time, finish time and any special requirements?

Can the babysitter also have the option to state availability?

Hi PhaseOneGroup,
  1. On the listing page where it states “hire now” can you change this so it directs to Paypal for payment?
It can be done, but you need to customise template.
  2. In fact, could you possible direct it to a contact form first, whereby the person buying the service can enter the date, start time, finish time and any special requirements?
Unfortunately, this option can’t be done with current version of the theme.
  3. Can the babysitter also have the option to state availability?
It’s can be easily added via theme customisation.
Thanks!

For some reason some of the babysitters profiles are created as smokers even though they click “non smokers”.

Do you know why that is?

I have translated the “Yes/No” in wp-job-manager-fields.php because “Yes/No” could be translated via the translation-file like the other fields.

I hope you know what I mean. “Yes” and “No” is translated in all the other fields via the translation-file but not in the section where babysitter choose wether or not they smoke.

Hope you can help.

Best regards!

Ps.

I hope you wont suggest codestyling localization again :-) I use POedit and that method should be perfectly functional?

I hope you will do support for me even though I don’t use codestyling localization as I have bad experience with the functionality of the plugin.

Hi,

When posting a profile, next to job location there are two location provided as examples .i.e London, Uk, New York and Houston, TX. How do I go about changing these to local locations? And how do I change the line underneath that “Leave this blank if the job can be done from anywhere (i.e. telecommuting)”? Please advice

Cheers
