I added the / category / postname / to the Custom Structure option under the Peramlinks section. Unfortunately, it works only for posts and your theme doesn’t seem to support categories for pages. What I did was to add categories to pages in the metaboxes.php. Now I can add categories to pages. However, I still can’t make the above mentioned permalink work for pages. It only takes post name and not category. Any help would be highly appreciated?

Do you means permalink structure like this : screenshot.

If so, it should be no problem! I’ve tested using that permalink structure and works perfectly.

Thanks for your response. I resolved this and I must admit I was not doing it correctly.

I do have two annoying issues right now in addition that I must resolve:

1) My slides don’t work properly. I added slide images and the enabled the slides. The image comes but it shows up in a very odd way and the rest of the content doesn’t show on the home page either. I added only one slide. Is that a factor?

2) I added share icons to pages and posts from the Settings section. While it works great in all the pages with no problem but there is an issue for the Contact page. Since Contact page is based on the page template, the icons show on the top of the page instead of the bottom of the page which of course looks very odd. Any help on this?

1. If you’ve only one slide the slider will not work properly try to add more slide and if the problem still remains please contact me through my profile page.

2. Do you installed a share plugin? what’s the plugin name? isn’t a theme feature so I can’t figure it out why the problem and how to fix the issue.

I just knoced off the slider for a while. I think I can live without it for sometime. Any idea how I can insert a static image (without slider) with exactly the same position as the slider takes.

Issues keep coming up a bit. The social icons at top right corner along with the Search box are not appearing in IE 9 but they work fine in other browsers like Chrome and Firefox. Whats the fix for IE 9 ? Not sure if it works for other version s of IE.

Maybe you have to clean up your IE cache, it looks fine for me. Here is the screenshot :

I have two problems that I cannot solve – please help. The development site is: www.web-proof.co.uk

1) I have 3 teasers on my homepage. The first teaser icon on the left is permanently orange and the other two are grey with orange as a hover over. How do I remove the orange from icon 1 or make it consistent and hover over like 2 and 3? 2) I have added a the company logo in the middle of the footer using the widget area. The logo shows on the home page but not on any of the other pages? Why does this happen – How can I fix this?

You can’t use .swf for the built-in slider but you can do that by replacing the slider with your .swf object.

I really like this template, but I have a few questions before purchasing.

Is it possible to change the accent colour from yellow to a different colour? Is it possible to amend the heading tags for each of the features (banner, widgets, etc) so they flow from h1 in priority order? What type of widget is used to create the ‘modern design’, ‘structured code’ CTAs on the home page? Do these widgets support shortcodes (i.e. to add buttons).

Ah found the bug, it was an incorrect path in the backbone/functions/shortcodes/tinymce.class.php on the line 27 :

wp_enqueue_script( 'select', THEME_DIR . '/functions/admin/javascripts/select-style.js', false, '1.0', false );

Change “admin” to “framework”.
