How do we make slides clickable to a url of choice?
Good evening,
I wonder where I set the link colors and font of the text entered in the Rich Content Editor and Posts
Thank you!
Hi Rifki,
Really happy with the theme – quick question…
Is it possible to add more fields to the contact form?
Thanks C
Hi C,
Thanks for purchase the theme, you can use contact form 7 or other plugins.
Rifki
Still absolutely loving this theme. What’s the easiest way to add additional google fonts to the Typography choices? In the Style Sheet or one of the theme functions PHP ?
Thanks! Jim
Jim, please contact me!
Rifki, In regards to the “Previous” and “Next” buttons being backwards on the Projects page. I tried editing lines 103 and 104 to the coding you gave me and it gave a blank screen? Here is what my lines 103 and 104 look like which have not ever been altered. Line 103: <?php previous_post_link(‘%link’, ‘ Prev’); ?> Line 104: <?php next_post_link(‘%link’, ‘Next ‘); ?> As I stated before on my site and even on your demo, the buttons are backwards; The “Previous” button goes to the next project and the “Next” button goes to the previous project. So I really don’t think the coding changes you gave me would fix this problem even if they worked. It looks like a simple fix, like something needs to be swapped? Please advise, -Dave
Hi Dave,
Those code is WordPress built-in and that is how the code works.
However you can swap those code to be :Rifki
Hi, asked a few weeks ago but got no response: is there a way to order the slides in a portfolio single page?
Hi Pixilate,
Sorry just missed that post, from your portfolio editor screen click the media icon under title field next the media popup appear click the gallery tab and order the images with drag & drop mode or enter the order number in the action field. See the screenshot
Hi Rifki,
Thanks for the fix on the “Next” and “Previous” buttons in the gallery, it worked! I have another question about the slider on the homepage I was hoping you could answer? It only shows my 5 most recent slides, is it limited to only 5 or is there a way I can have more? -Dave
Hi Dave,
You’re welcome glad I can help! You can set the number of slide in module-slider line 2
'posts_per_page' => 5.Rifki
Hi…great theme. My site is in 2 languages. I am using http://wpml.org/ for the languages and everything is working great but how do I make the Homepage template (like the teasers and other parts in Theme Settings) work in a 2 language situation?
Thanks for the help.
Hi Rifki,
Can you please tell how do I change the global color scheme? Currently, its been yellow color. I had tried the option “Color Scheme” in “Styling” tab. But it was not working. Can you please guide me?
Thanks, Amit Munjal
Hi Amit,
It’s should be changeable from the Styling tab, can you show me the site?
Rifki
Hi Rifki,
Sorry for the late reply! I just send you a PM. Please check your inbox
Thanks, -Amit Munjal
Is there any option to remove the arrows? I just want to use the dots instead of arrows.
Thanks for the help
Hey Rifki,
Again, I can never thank you enough for this amazing framework/theme. It’s incredibly powerful.
I need to hide 2 of the menu’s added as custom post types (Portfolio & Slides) from the Dashboard so than no one other than Admin can edit them. I was looking through your code, but couldn’t find where you registered the menu items (or maybe I’m just blind today).
Is this possible to filter so only Admin’s have access to those particular capabilities (or in the case of Portfolio, I’m not using it on most sites so would prefer to completely leave it out). Thanks!
Jim
Hi Jim,
According to WordPress documentation for registering Custom Post Type you can hide the Portfolio & Slides by add this code:
'show_in_menu'=>false,to the line 40 of each files: register-portfolio.php & register-slides.phpRifki
How can I change the text ? “Recent Projects” “News & Updates” On the home page
Hi,
You can change from your theme options.
Rifki
On the teasers section I don’t want any icons to show next to the section titles how do I remove them? I hope that I receive an answer this time. I posted something 27 days ago in which you never answered me. Hope this isn’t the level of support I should expect.
Hi nomadicone,
Sorry to be late, please remove this code
<span class="circle '. ft_get_option('teaser_icon_'.$i) .'" />from includes/module-teasers.php line 22.Rifki
Do you still support this product? This is my second time asking a question here and I get no response. It has now been three days and no responses from you.
Having issues with IE9. The menu bar defaults to a royal blue gradient with red nav highlight. We don’t see this issue when viewing the Theme Demo in IE9. Can you please take a quick look into this. We have a client site ready to go live until this issue showed up when tested.
Hi, I purchased the theme and I want to congratulate you for the good job. I have a problem: I would like to add a content into the homepage. I inserted the text into the web page but it doesn’t appear. How can I enable this function?
Thanks a lot
Best regards
Roberto
I just purchased this theme, uploaded it to begin work and I received this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /home/**/public_html/*/wp-content/themes/backbone/functions.php on line 14. I can’t see a link to a support system. I need to start work on this ASAP.
Hi alldaygiveaways,
wp_get_theme() is a function that only available for WP 3.4 up. So update your WordPress version!
Rifki
