Great theme. How can I use my own icons instead of the included typicons?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, but you would need to include them (im assuming they are webfont?) in the css and font folder
This is simply stunning. Amazing work! Can’t wait to put it to good use!
really like the template, only thing stopping me purchasing at this time is a slight navigation quirk when using and iPhone (iOS7).
If after scrolling down to the map section and then trying to use the navigation icon the screen reloads to the home section with no drop down navigation menu, tried a few times and same result.
Hello, thanks for pointing out this bug, I will update shortly
Hi Craig i send you an email but i haven’t got answer
As you can see on my website www.valquiete.it, i got problem with the google maps embled code.
Can you help me to found the right embed code? thanks!
Hello, would you like to give me the address and I’ll send you the embed code?
Hi, this is my address: ValQuiete, 85010 Potenza.
Here you go <iframe src="https://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=ValQuiete+Potenza&aq=&sll=-37.860283,145.079616&sspn=2.079549,2.938843&ie=UTF8&iwloc=&hq=ValQuiete&hnear=Potenza,+Basilicata,+Italy&ll=40.574066,15.797396&spn=0.14595,0.018058&t=m&output=embed"></iframe>
When i try to install this theme i receive this message:
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.
Could you maybe shed some light on why? I love the design and cant wait to use it!
Hi Emilie, unfortunately Barossa is not a Wordpress theme, but an HTML template. This means that it requires basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to customize and implement. Apologies if this isn’t the answer you were looking for
what version of foundation does the template use?
and are there scss files?
Foundation 4, just straight css
How do I get rid off the adres tooltip on my google map?
Hello, just add &iwloc= into your iframe code
Hi, Craig. i’ve just purchased the theme and i didn’t find the wedding template inside the zip.
I have loaded the files into the FTP, but does not seem to recognize the CSS, my still has a very basic HTML look. Was there something I needed to do in particular with the CSS?
No there shouldn’t be, the CSS is linked with the index.html file. Try checking the permissions on the CSS file to make sure everyone has read access
First of all, congratulations!!! The theme is amazing.
I need help to change the images that are 1200×800 on the link ‘about us’ and ‘our services’. I can’t find the html code.
Thank you very much!
Hello, those are in the style.css file as css backgrounds for #services and #testimonials
Can you update the instructions to the Barossa theme?
I have the theme installed at http://earlstevensselections.com and the “Contact Us” form does not work. I do not receive the emails.
Does the mail.php form need to be updated? Love the theme but this current issue is causing serious issues for my clients.
love the theme – do i need to know php or is html + css sufficient?
html + css is sufficient
Ehi man, your work is amazing!
Is there a way to support 2 languages?
Hi mate, this is just HTML so there is no CMS integration and therefore no mult-language support. Thanks for the compliment!!
Hi Craig -
we fell in love with your theme and use it on our website.
Really great work!
However we are having a little issue with the responsive menu when viewed on smaller display-ports:
When the unfolded menu displays the menu items and you tap on one of them in order to get to the respective part of the page, the menu does not return to its original folded state.
This means it stays open and blocks half of the screen which is not so nice regarding good UX.
We watched different users navigating our page for the first time – some of them just left the menu open and tried to read the page with only the little remaining space underneath the uncollapsed menu
Could you please provide a fix that lets the menu collapse again as soon as the user tapped on a menu item? This surely improve the UX of Barossa even more!
Please disregard the request – I fixed it myself… Best regards, Marc
sorry to bug again
We found out that our website looks pretty awful in IE (at least IE8 – we did not test the other version of IE yet). This is also the case for the native Barossa template. Could you please assist with an update that has improvements for at least IE7 and IE7?
Hi mate, unfortunately Barossa has only been tested in IE9 and above. I am unable to test and optimize for browsers as old as IE8 and earlier, sorry.
the icons don’t appear on android mobile devices, how can I get them to work?
I wanna smbed this location on Contact: https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m10!1m8!1m3!&iwloc=1d2801.396797481312!2d11.88047955!3d45.4013375!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!5e0!3m2!1sca!2ses!4v1391771109540
The problem is what i must to do to see the “red A point” of the location ? have I write “&iwloc=” ?? where exacly??
Thanks for your time and work!
Hello, you need to use an iframe code not a link, the iframe code is found below the link in the google maps embed section, then you put the iwloc= part inside the string where you see all the other & arguments
thanks Criag, that works!
Id like to know if it is possible to add one more link on the menu/section?
For example, on my wedding site, I want to create an space specially to my bridesmaid and groomsmen.. you get it?? thanks
Hello, yes you could do this by adding a link to the nav ul but then it would be uneven (more on one side than the other). I would move the logo to the left and menu to the right in this case
One more thing, is it possible to insert music or a mini playlist?
This would be functionality that you’ll need to add separately there is no support built in unfortunately
My client had just purchased it and sent me the file but he actually wanted the wedding theme.
Is that a separate purchase?
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee.
Why buy with Envato
