Important Announcement: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug

The last update of the official Opencart release (version 1.5.3.1) has some bugs. One of them occurs during the checkout process, making impossible to add a new delivery address. For these reasons and since Basico is a heavily edited template, we have decided to wait for a fix from the official developers team of OpenCart. We do not think it makes much sense to offer, at least for the moment, an updated version of Basico compatible with OpenCart 1.5.3.1 before such important problems are fixed. We recommend to use Basico with the previous stable versions of OpenCart supported by our theme.

2) that was a bug in the older version of Basico. To correct it edit:

catalog/controller/account.php

And change the first:

$this->language->load('account/account');

with:

$this->language->load('account/account');
        $this->language->load('basico');

$this->data['heading_title'] = $this->language->get('heading_title');

with:

$this->data['heading_title'] = $this->language->get('heading_title');
           $this->data['acc_heading_title'] = $this->language->get('acc_heading_title'); 
        $this->data['acc_heading_title2'] = $this->language->get('acc_heading_title2');

It’s not the same problem, that was a bug which was fixed. From the admin panel:

“Change the default currency. Clear your browser cache to see the change and reset your existing cookie.”

You won’t be able to see the new default currency until you clear your browser cache.

For the undefined index error, make sure that there is not only english text but also dutch text for the support module in the backend panel…

To add more icons you have to edit:

catalog/view/theme/Basico/template/common/column_left.tpl

And manually add the code inside this block:

I removed that part but you can get it again by editing catalog/view/theme/Basico/template/product/category.tpl.

Add these lines:

Hi jack33, thanks for liking Basico.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do it, since we totally removed the code as written in the documentation, to create more space and a clean look in some pages. Even if you placed the code again, you’d have problems with the width of the containers of such pages, because they were thought for a full width displaying.
