Hi, I have 2 Question.

1st. I have installed the child theme. It looks like everything is going well. However, I tried viewing the site from another browser (where i’m not logged in) and I get a landing page. I get a page that sais INSERT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. and a SUBSCRIBE button. I can’t close it or pass that page.

I would like to know how I can deactivate that landing page and just get the normal homepage.

2nd. Is there a way customers can pay with credit card directly in the website?

Hello,

I have installed the theme and all I get is a blank white page when I activate it. I get all the admin features for the theme and am able to navigate all the features but get nothing when I visit the site. I have un-installed the theme and reinstalled it, nothing. I have re-downloaded the them from themeforest, nothing. Checked my permissions on my FTP and they are fine. Deactivated all the plug-ins on the site and still I get a blank white screen. Tried to upload the demo content only to be told the file doesn’t exist. Any ideas? as I seem to have run a blank. www.philsvisions.com

Yes, you can customize the color and the photo (and text) for the popup. But the theme not has the quick view feature. :)

Is the credit card shortcode:

If in the editor of the page click on the “y” icon and open the shortcodes panel, you can add this shortcode in the page and see all the icons availables. Then you can copy the shortcode and use it in the footer :)

Thank you for the quick response.

1. I added [credit_card type=”amazon, cash, generic_1, mastercard, paypal, visa, “] to footer and it did not work (this shortcode does not parse anything, all it does is parse itself to footer so all I see if the code itself instead of the payment options).

I did navigate to a page and clicked on Edit Page, then I clicked on “Y” icon, then I search for the credit card (payment) option and is not there. I believe the code needs to be added for the credit card payment type.

Could you send me the files with the codes so I can upload them and make this work?

2. I also need help with SSL. I have set the homepage to be exactly like the demo and the product display (images) resized after SSL was added. And they are not all same size like the demo, so I have onde product displaying bigger/smaller than the other making it look messy. Could you help me with that?

The site uses SSL, but Google Chrome has detected insecure content on the page, and the lock icon is not green is yellow, any suggestions?

3. I don’t see the compare option on products. Also the compare option in the corner does not bring up the compare table.

When I add it manually as a menu item it appears so seems to just be the top right that is not working.

Hello Sara,
I found a great option under sitemap from theme options to restrict number of posts, products to show. This is really great when we have to add tons of products but can’t practically show each and every one inside sitemap page. It will take lot of time to show and will slows down the loading time and not even looks good.

Just wanted to say 2 things-
1. If product’s and posts’s categories names could also be hyperlinked too withing sitemap, that can be clicked to redirect to category page where all other products, pages can be seen.

2. If we restrict to show only 5 products per category, then a “MORE” button just beneath the 5th product link in sitemap could be shown. So that visitors come to know that there are other products also within that category and NOT only 5.

One important thing i would like to know about sitemap feature-

Say for example- if we want to restrict to show only 5 products per category, then will it going to affect the ACTUAL sitemap of the site also that we want to or about to submit via sitemap or yoast plugin or directly to search engines like google. Or it will just affect the sitemap within site page.
Because if it only uses 5 products per category in actual sitemap, then that would surely be a big problem for us.

The sitemap we include in the theme, is not a sitemap for the search engines (you need an xml for this), but is a sitemap for the users that navigate in the site.

I’ve upgraded the theme to the latest version and for some reason my version does not show the compare option on products. Also the compare option in the corner does not bring up the compare table.

Managed to fix it this morning. The menu styleclass was wrong in the settings I had. Updated per documentation on theme for a new link and is all working now.

1. It saves the Theme Options. Maybe you want to create some different skins for your website. You can save the various options there and restore them whenever you want. Or simply make backups of your work…

No, i’m sorry. The pagination works only in the shop page with all products, not with the shortcodes. You can add a button (with “view more” text for example) using the button shortcode and link to another page.

Hello,

I have question regarding the shop features. I bought this theme with the intention to make it a catalog website. Now I have two questions, first one is there any way I can disable the checkout process (or at least delete buttons for checkout so that there is no connection to it) and register/login to page and only leave the cart option so that the visitor knows the price of all the things he wants to buy. Second question is, if this is not possible, how can I at least disable the cart, checkout and my account options and only leave compar and my wishlist on the website. I hope that you can help me, I am kinda stuck here and the deadline for finishing website is near.

In the bazar > theme options > shop section you can choose which elements disable/enable, so you can hide the cart on the header and the add to cart buttons and use the theme like a catalog :)
