Hello dedalx, when open it form android Google chrome browser i can not open the product when click on it… i am using latest chrome V and htc one X device and galaxy tab 10.1… when i click on the image or on the title or on the price of the product it wont do anything… this is happen only with android Google Chrome… so please can you fix it. Thank you
This is not a theme problem, something wrong with your version of mobile Google Chrome (may it is beta or somesthing blocked your click – firewall, filter software, javascript disabled, etc). Just checked in Samsung Note 2 and Samsung Star in Google Chrome from Google Play – all working on this devices for me.
Hello, I successfully set up my slideshow pictures, but I can’t see where to set up the boxes/title that overlay the slideshow pictures (the colored boxes with titles, “buy” buttons, etc.) Sorry if it’s obvious
This is drawed on image, you can use provided PSD design files for sliders to make your own images.
See the errors here. While checking in detail I came across $entry_company_id. This field is not available in 1.5.2.1. This is available in 1.5.4.1
Let me know what the issue is here.
Use latest open cart version 1.5.4. At the Theme description at the right you see that this theme is for latest stable 1.5.4 version.
Also in theme “Compatibility” section your see that “This theme supports OpenCart versions 1.5.3 – 1.5.4.1”. We dont support old, bugged OpenCart releases that not longer supported by OpenCart Team.
Your admin demo says its 1.5.4 but your theme description says its 1.5.2.1.
Please let me know urgently which version shall we use. Its extremely urgent.
You don’t read carefully. “1.5.2.1.” is not a opencart version – this is THEME RELEASE number. Theme works perfect on latest OpenCart release (1.5.4)

It was written 1.5.2.1 in description which you changed now.
It was written around “Current version”. This was about current theme script version, not the required OpenCart
OpenCart version written at the right and in bottom of description in “Compatibility” section. I deleted 1.5.2.1 from description because other people can think as you and dont uderstand it.

Hi I really like this theme, but I would like to know:
What happens if there is a long product description? ie does the buy now button get pushed down? If so can you change it so that it is above the description?
Also can the buy now button colour be changed? If so, is it easy to do so?

In product list display product description automatically shortens (this is OpenCart feature, not a theme), so you will not have long long description text and But button after it. Buy button is always at visible place. At product display page Buy button already above the description.
You can easy change buttons colors from admin panel, check the Admin Panel demo.

Are you enabled theme settings in the admin panel ? And Notice is not a error. This is just notice for unised variable, that you dont set or enable in admin panel. This is not a error and dont break shop and theme functionality. If you dont set something theme will use Default value.
the preferred picture layout is 1000px x 1085px, do I need to create 1 picture and will all other pictures be resized automatically ? Or do I need to create the pictures in all needed formats, for example picture1_10001085.jpg / picture1_188204.jpg etc ?

Hm, I dont understand you question exactly. You mean about product photos size? You can use any size, especially if your product photos have white background. All pictures will be resized automatically but opencart to Image Settings sizes that you setuped for theme when you install it. But OpenCart use white background when it resize photos, so if you photos have not white background you can use recommended theme image sizes to get nice theme look.
I setup the picture sizes you mention in your documentation, you also mention that the best size is 1000×1085pixels. On your demo shop I see pictures in the cache folder for all sizes. Did you create them all manual from 1 original picture or how else ? I don’t use white backgrounds in my picture and when opencart resizes a white border is not nice to see on a product picture.
1000×1085 is the best Proportion for your images, you can use any size with this proportions (. All my photos have this proportions. So you must use this proportions for big photos if you dont want to get white borders.
but does it resizes automatically to smaller images like the 188×204 ?

Adobe Photoshop but if you only need to resize or crop you can use something more easy, like XnView for Windows or Preview for Mac.

No, in 2 column layout banners automatically hide because the is no much space for it display.

Yes, you can use more width for your first image. In next update will be a option in admin panel to turn off auto hide images.

Why is my other 2 ads not showing out? Must I add all 3ads under one banner in the settings – design Or must create 3 different banner title in the settings – design?
Add url parameter to all your mini, ads, slider parameters. You can add it in “Design > Banners” and group that your created for your slider. You must have ONE group in settings>design>baners, that contain all your slider images (mini and ads too).

This is not theme isaue. If you images (or images on any site) named like ads, banner, advertisement, etc your browser plugin like AdBlock plus will block it by default.

I dont know why you get this error because this is not full error, this is only a line. I need to see error name, not line. I dont have this error. As I see tags displayed correctly on you sample page, and work ok. “Click to zoom” will be fixed in next theme release in 1 day, you can temporaly disable “CloudZoom” for image, it will turn on PrettyPhoto and it will work.

This is not error, this just a notice that you dont input some variable or dont use it. Dont worry about it, it does not display on you site if you server configuration correct.

“PHP Notice:” is not a error. I said you before. Dont see your logs, errors will be displayed on your site (you will see it) and site will not work if you will get a error. You latest error is you have some problem with you OpenCart (I think in languages) and module cannot find it. But if theme admin panel does not show this errors for you and work this is not a critical error. Wait for the next update, it works without languages query in admin panel.

In responsive version logo resizes by width to fit theme. You logo is wide and will be resized to small logo. If you will have more squared logo it will be resized more nice. I will thing in future updates how to fit any logo nice in responsive.
Hello _ I’m currently installing your new theme via Open Cart. Its working quite nicely – but I have discovered some BUGS:
1. It is mpossible to customise a LOGO on the theme – kinda makes the reason for buying a template MOOT doesn’t it? You need to provide a method to center LOGOS. That’s why we buy prepared templates.
2. And how do I edit “Powered by Opencart?” on my finished site? Can you respond with a PATH > like > this? Admin > Footer > etc?
Unless you guys are ok with getting an advertising invoice from me .. I don’t mind!
1. You want to center logo vertically? You can do this with custom CSS (in theme admin panel): #logo { margin-top: 10px; } Adjust 10px to your needs. 2. In theme admin panel “Footer > Powered by”.

Don’t name images files like ads, banner, baner, advertisement – some browser plugins (AdBlock Plus, etc) block images with this names by default.

Hello Alvinooi89 – I like what you did w the theme. How did you get the your VODELLE LOGO to go UP? Mine falls in front of the buttons – and the poor kid doesn’t speak English well – I think hes getting frustrated – no help from him.
vodelle.com logo is added by default without any custom code, this is default theme layout. If you want to raise the logo above you must use Custom CSS in theme admin panel, something like this:
#logo { margin-top: 10px; }

Ok, I’ve caught on to the Banner/Page thing – now the MODULE bit is giving me run. Do I need a bit of that code to push the RIGHT column mini modules back onto the page area? No matter what size I adjust them frame to – it won’t stay on the page – esp in Firefox?
As you can see in 2 and 3 columns demo shops all works good. You do something wrong.

Yes big photo on product page is possible, but it may require little CSS customization (depending on what photo size you want to use), especially for responsive theme version. Also you must understand that if you will use bigger photo you cannot use 3 column layout on product page (only 2 or 1 column). PayPal Express checkout integration is not depending on theme, you should ask about OpenCart community forums about this, but paypal already integrated in OpenCart and I think Express checkout module/mod for OpenCart must be already done.

I would like to change the size of the zoom window in the product page (the one that pops up when you scroll over the product image).
I’ve changed the size of the window itself, by modifying .zoomWindow class in jquery.jqzoom.css but this doesn’t change the size of the zoom image, which no longer fills the popup window.
If you could just point me in the right direction that would be great.

Few lines before it you can change zoomWidth and zoomHeight values.

I see your comments that I need to update my opencart installation to 1.5.5.1 if I am to update my theme to get the the sale badge overflow fix. But I have other extensions that are not yet compatible with opencart 1.5.5.1 so I am not intending to update opencart. Can you make available an updated version of the theme with the sale badge fix for 1.5.4.1 ?
Yes, you can use CSS file from 1.5.5.1 theme ersion to your 1.5.4.1 version: catalog/view/theme/beautyshop/stylesheet/stylesheet.css
