Hi, first of all, nice work!!

Then, I want to buy this theme to use as a shop, but I need to know how many articles can it manage, because I have around 5,000 articles in my catalog.

Thanks!

eggbit

Hi. The theme was designed with smaller shops in mind, however it can handle as many items as the wooCommerce plugin can handle. One thing to consider is the way items are sorted in the shop. Items are organized by category not price etc. and so it depends more on how your shop is organized.

Hey,

What is the best size for the width of the Layerslider?

Best Regards

Tattooyou

eggbit

100% is best. You can also set the option ‘force responsive’ if you want the slider to be the full width of the screen. The demo has it set to disabled. -cheers

Hey

Thanks for your support so far, Have set up my theme and all looks good but the slider does not display on ipad, am i doing something wrong?

Best Regards

eggbit

Hi. The backup slider image which you can upload, will display on iPad and screens smaller. This is because of the dynamic nature slider. – cheers

Hi!

I would like to know why all the ajax functions that comes with WooCommerce are gone? Like if you have a product without variables, why isn’t it possible to add it to the cart without refreshing the page? You can add it directly, but its annoying that it refreshes…

I think most people don’t like the page being refreshed because it forces them to scroll back down if they’ve added something to the cart.

Is this going to be fixed?

One other thing; I think you should add some variable to the button that says “Add to cart” if the product have no variables, and if it does, it should say something like “Read more” or, “Choose variables”.

Gonna fix this? :)

Except for the AJAX functionality missing I really love the theme, good job!

Kind regards, Jesper

eggbit

Hi. I agree – I’m working on an update now and I will include the ajax functionality. I will send you a note when it is uploaded and available. – cheers

eggbit

The ajax update has been submitted as part of version 1.1 It also adds ‘select options’ to variable product buttons. It will be available for download as soon as ThemeForest approves it. – Cheers

Three more things while I’m at it ^^

1. It seems that the coupon functionality doesn’t work…

2. When having variables and different images for every products, the big image viewer doesn’t change image when you change variable. This function is very neat to have… Also if u click on one image that’s ment for the certain variable, you get directly to the image path. In this moment you want the image to be added to the big imageviewer or at least in a lightbox mode.

3. On some places there is green buttons, even if you’ve change theme color to orange… (comment button and plus and minus buttons for checkout page as I’ve found).

I hope you understand everything :)

Kind regards, Jesper

eggbit

The coupon functionality is completely wooCommerce, but I’ll take a look. I know about the button colours and I will update that. Do you mind emailing me (my profile) so I can get some more info about #2. – Thanks

Hi,

Is it possible to show a couple of blog posts between the slider and the products on the homepage?

Best

Arjan

eggbit

Hi Arjan. To add them between the slider and products would require modifying the homepage template.

  • Bought between 10 and 49 items

I folloewd the instructions as in doc file but I get this error on the shop page: Fatal error: Call to a member function get_image_size() on a non-object in /web/htdocs/www.acherontiawear.com/home/wp-content/themes/bent/woocommerce/content-product.php on line 42

What I’m doing wrong? This is the website: http://www.acherontiawear.com

eggbit

Do you see that error when you add a ‘featured image’ to the product?

Hey.

Nice theme. But i does not support group products very well ? The counter on the item that you want to add i over and under the box with the number in ? How can i control what products is showing on the frontpage and how many ?

Thanks agian.

eggbit

In the theme settings you can select to show products with a certain ‘tag’ on the front page. So you could set it to ‘featured’ for example and then add that tag to any products you want to show. So the number of products shown on the front page depends on how many you have tagged.

And by the way..

I have a couple of group products how do i remove “from: $xx.xx” and the button under group product say “add to cart” i need to say “see product”

eggbit

Hi. I submitted an update 1.1 that adds ‘select options’ to variable product buttons.

  • Bought between 10 and 49 items
  • Has been a member for 2-3 years

That error is shown in the shop page: http://www.acherontiawear.com/negozio/ where should loaded the product images

eggbit

Can you email me a login. It will help me determine why you’re getting that error. – cheers

I sent you the login but I didn’t have any response from you. I need to make my site work very quickly and I’m going to use another theme. Since your theme was my first choice I’ll switch back to it as soon as you help me to figure out what’s going on..

eggbit

I just got your email last night. Different time zone probably. It’s fixed, you need to enter a featured image. – cheers

Hi eggbit, we’re discussing to buy this theme, but I don’t have much experience here…

You list the homepage slideshow as “Layer Slider” as a feature for this theme, whereas for the Q Responsive, you list features as “Touch swipe, full-width slider Touch swipe carousel”

There seems to be some problem with the server now so I can’t seem to reach the samples pages, but I imagine that it works…. like… you slide the images with your finger :-)

Is it somehow possible to have this on this Bent theme?

Cheers

eggbit

The Q Responsive theme slides with a swipe action on touch enabled devices. The Bent theme uses an image in place of the slider on mobile devices so it doesn’t have the touch-swipe feature. – cheers

Best Regards

eggbit

You need to edit page_home.php Send me an email and I will show you what code to remove.

Thanks, eggbit. The question is really if it is POSSIBLE (should I learn how) to add that functionality? And/or will I be allowed to change the slider script or is this restricted technically or by the licensing?

This question makes sense to me to gain some insight of the general customizability of these themes…

kudos

eggbit

Sure it’s possible. The slider is a plugin. You can easily replace it with another slider that has the functionality you want. There aren’t any licensing restrictions if you want to modify the current slider either. It’s a little tricky to do without the elements overlapping on small screens. The cleanest and easiest way is to just plugin another slider. Or load a different slider on mobile devices. – cheers

Hello, is it possible to remove the Adress Information the user must enter at check out?

eggbit

The wooCommerce plugin doesn’t have that option. You can modify it: http://wcdocs.woothemes.com/snippets/tutorial-customising-checkout-fields-using-hooks-and-filters/

I want to set the color schema to gray. How can I do that? Thanks Ander

eggbit

Hi. Gray is not one of the included color schemes. But you could add a gray.css file or modify one of the included color css files. Located in assets/css.

Nevemind my last message…i’m just blind ;-)

By the way, how i can edit the sidebar for a product page?

Thanks.

eggbit

All pages can have custom sidebars except for single product pages. They have a standard sidebar for ordering and additional images. It is sidebar-woo.php
