The plan was that the next version would be 1.4, a big update, but I have now decided to release a smaller update, 1.3.5, just so that it would not take 3-6 month for the next update. This one is probably coming in a month.

Hi I was wondering love the theme, besides my blog page i ‘am trying to built a page that only displays tutorials and another that only displays interviews, how can i manage this please? Thanks

you can create a category tutorials and add it to the navigation. Posts added to that category will then be listed there. Use the Advanced Category Excluder if you want to hide those posts from the blog. Another way to do it is to use the blogposts page template to list that category.

I have gotten my post to work pretty well; however, I want the post to have the default image at the top and the copy and not have another thumbnail image of the default in the post as well. See here: http://yourfifthwall.com/?p=21 Please advise.

I have installed this theme on the following link, www.elegantwedding.ca/blog2. I was wondering why do the images look distorted in Internet Explorer but look fine in Firefox?
Am I doing something wrong?

there is a max-width css set, but not an auto height, since this messes things up. The max-width shouldn’t have to be used, because too wide images should not be inserted into the post. Use the preset sizes made available by wordpress when inserting. You might have to set the preset sizes to fit the content area first, see step 7 in this article for instructions.

if you create a new page with the no sidebar template it will not have any columns or the latest thumbnail posts. If you want a header image in the page you can add it as default in the uploader, or add the image url below the editor, or insert the image into the page editor.
If you rather want to edit the current frontpage3, choose the html view, and remove the col1 and col2 divs (and the closing divs), and remove the shortcodes with it’s heading (h5 tag) at the bottom of the page.

Hello,
I was wondering if you can look into WPML for the update. It’s a multilanguage plugin. I can get the language options in the footer links to appear. However if I place it in the top ad space as a drop down.. the drop down does not work…only english appears..and none of the other language options drop down. I tried to turn cufon off but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. It would be great if you could look into it. Currently I have two languages appearing side by side on the side but would love the option to have them work separately.
I think another thing that would make this template even more popular is if you can integrate w-e-commerce. The plug in appears to work now already.. it’s just a matter of making it easier for people to use. I’ve been playing around with it. I actually don’t need to integrate with a real commerce engine.. I just want people to be able to add their items to a cart and have the order emailed to me.. It’s a pseudo commerce solution but I live in China so none of the commerce solutions apply here.

seems like a very good translation plugin. I did some changes to make the theme work with qTranslate (in the latest version of the theme (1.3.4.3)), so I will see if I can get this plugin to work with the theme too. I like this one better than qTranslate, since it creates separate posts and not inserting codes into the existing posts like qTranslate. I added the the language switcher to the top adspace, and it worked for me (when I was on a translated post). However the navigation do not work with this plugin. Will look into that.
For the ecommerce plugin, I have added it to the “compability test” plugin list.

I have a question on the update.. I uploaded the new version through filezilla over the last file but the version in the wordpress dashboard still appears as 1.3.2.. Does that mean my update did not work?

could be browser cache. you can see the version in the header of style.css. The latest version is 1.3.4.3. If filezilla for some reason do not overwrite the files, you can just delete the old version and upload the new version without overwriting.

Under example pages, “frontpage”, is there a way to make that banner rotate on its own or does the visitor have to click the arrow to go to the next one everytime?
