Very nice work
Thank you !
I cannot find where the email address goes from the form?
All you need is a form – handler script on the server side and replacing the # in the action ”#” of the form element with the name of the handler.
How can i translate {dl} and others to german?
In the ‘jquery.countdown.js’ file in lines 20, 22 and 23 just replace the english words with their german equivalent.
Confused on the handler script. Sorry, newbee here. Would this work for it: http://www.tectite.com/formmailpage.php
By the looks of it I believe it would work
On the site they say it works with HTML submission forms.
Good job aether_ with the design, I’m very happy with it. I’m customising it to suit my needs and I’ve hit a small issue, when you extend the word ‘Years’ or any of the other words beneath the circles so that it goes onto 2 lines the line spacing (line-height) is very large.
I’ve tried to correct this in css quickly but I can get it to work. Could you give any instruction on how to reduce it? When you remove the Google Fonts it works as expected and the words wrap under each other nicely.
Thank you ! This is an interesting question. The solution is quite simple: in the ‘custom.js’ file just replace the ‘span’ elements with ‘p’ elements, afterwards just add this line ‘padding-top: 25px !important;’ in the .days, .hours, .minutes, .seconds { } selector. Hope this helps, if you have difficulty setting it up, please let me know to assist you further in this matter. Thank you again
Hi there,
When I try and install the theme I get this error:
Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed.
I don’t know what the problem is, can you help?
Thanks, Mairi
I don’t know what you mean by “installing the theme” ? Are you sure this is the type of file you need – this is a site template – not a wordpress theme.
Aw no, I thought I’d bought a Wordpress Theme… sorry!
Subscription form does not work.
Hi !
This was discussed in the previews comments – all you need is a handler on the server side for it to work. You can see some of the previous comments, where people have posted links to such handlers as well. Thank you !
Layout is broken on IE 9 +
Hey, thanks for the feedback ! I have fixed the issue and will upload an update to the template. Sorry for the inconvenience.
updated !
Waiting on v2 to be approved.
v2 now avaible !
I just purchased your template though I am not sure to which folder to upload things to. Could you please give me a pointer here? Within your docs you are just saying the following: “All you need to do is unzip the file and upload the contents to your server via FTP ”
Thank you! All you need to do is upload the contents in your root directory, in other words the main directory of your server, when a webpage loads it loads the index.html file in the root directory automatically.
Awesome!
Thanks!
Hi!. I tried to install this theme on my local, and it shows this: “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.” I have Wordpress 3.4.2 can you tell me what to do please?.
Hi robscan,
I am afraid that this is not a wordpress theme. It is a template, and as such it is not placed in the wordpress category on themeforest. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks.
Is it possible for me to embed this in my website? (i.e. my site is built, but I need a countdown clock…
Just integrate the countdown plugin with your design, it’s free. There is a link to it in the item descrption, and there you can find an extensive guide.
great theme. not for nothing, but ‘jquery.countdown.js’ has to be updated. the demo and downloaded file are broken. otherwise, great stuff!
Hi,
Have a small issue.
When I open your page in the Chrome browser the time is not moving at all. It gets counted down only when I renew the page.
In the description of the theme you said it should work for Chrome as well. Can you explain what’s the problem?
Thanks.
Thank you, I will take a look at it right now, when I uploaded it, it was working fine on Chrome, I don’t know what issue may have arised. I will come back to you as soon as possible with the solution.
Cheers.
where’s the set-up guide that was referenced in the details page? didn’t see it with my download. I really just want to change the # of days till end of countdown
The set-up guide is in the _documentation folder. Just open the file in a web browser and read the guideline and you will be able to setup in no time.
Thanks!
I couldn’t find the documentation folder in my zip, am I missing it?
If you send me an email over to contact@aetherdesign.net I will send you the documentation, I don’t know what is going on but I don’t see it in the download as well, and should be there
