Can you please advise how to prevent the Blog page from displaying the category used for the slider on the home page?

I want to specifically exclude that category as I only want it used for the slider.

Please confirm – You are WordPress 3.0 bug free?

Thank you for your reply – Finally bought your template

I just upgraded to the new platform from you older one. That upgrade was something else. My website is www.bmedpress.com

Here are my initial questions/problems:

1. what is the difference between news pages and blog pages?

2. I am trying to link a custom post created for the slider to a blog post, but HTML links appear to be stripped. Is this correct functionality?

3. For some reason, links are not highlighted on the home page for the 3 custom columns and the Before Content widget. This makes linking to other content impossible if the link won’t show (should highlight in blue or underline, or anything else to show it is a link). Is there a fix for this?

Also, does this theme support 3 level menus? I tried implement Main Category -> Sub-Category -> child category but it caused the menu to malfunction. if I back it to only 2 levels, it works fine. I know Wordpress 3 supports 3 levels, and I have used 3 level categories in other themes before. Is this a limitation of this theme?

I appreciate you getting back to me, but I decided to move to a different theme framework.
