Do you mean Portfolios? Portfolio items are ordered by publish date, you can change this date to sort the portfolios in the order you want.

What do you mean by a third navigation? You can add a navigation menu in the sidebar with out problems. In the page content you will have to make the navigation menu manually.

You can’t place the sidebar on the left side, sorry.
What I meant was that you can add a nav menu by code on any page. But I don’t think this is your idea because it will be hard work.

I´m also having trouble with the new portfolios. I need to have isolated portfolios for a single page. Created a new portfolio in the black label > portfolio generator and created a new page with a single portfolio template and selected the new created portfolio… works fine but when you click in the “read more” button is goes to a “error 404 – page not found” error page. Also saw that i dont have a folder named “portfoliio” in the “black label” folder…

The 404 error is because you have to reset the permalinks. Go to your settings and switch back to thhe default permalinks and then go back to your current ones.

hi. i’ve been trying to create a child theme on my computer and modify through dreamweaver, but when i try to activate the child theme wordpress breaks on me and just goes to a white screen. does this theme not support child themes? i’m following both a lynda tutorial and the info on the codex step by step, and i’ve tried it many times with no luck. any suggestions on where i’m going wrong would be great. thanks!

I want to have just a block of text in two columns on the front page. Is there any way that I can modify the homepage template to do this? For example, I could either use the widget on the right that’s on the home page or the descriptions for the slides.
The issue with using the text box for the slides is that they’ll obviously change with each slide. I just need one static box. Any way of doing this easily?
If the text isn’t too long you can use the Widget area on the right.

I just noticed that I still have BL Version 1.7.0 installed. Do I just redownload it from where it says “You have Already Purchased this Item” area?
I have tried to re-upload the file to the site but it says the “style sheet missing” or “file already exists”

The best way to update the Theme is creating a new folder for the new theme. This way if something doesn’t work you can always switch back to your old theme.

Please tell me how to get the install/upload the JW player, i downloaded it from where it says to in the help documents. The files i get are, “jwplayer.flash” “jwplayer.html5” “jwplayer”(j script file) & a “READ ME” for opening in chrome.

1) No, galleries don’t support videos. Sorry. But you can use one video as a Background on any page.

Also, anytime one of the filters in my portfolio is selected the portfolio items that pop up have facebook-like and retweet buttons. Why is this?

One more question…the background image from the slideshow “jumps” on the iPhone and Chrome on Android. Any idea why? The slideshow moves down momentarily while obviously only the page itself should be.

Looks like there is something wrong with the WordPress installation. See if everything is fine in the server or try re-installing WordPress.
