I ask you a week ago to fix Polish font on my web project www.veryluckystar.com and i have no answer from you. Why it takes so long and why you can’t write how to fix it ? It was fix but after update it is wrong again !

If I’m not mistaken, we fixed the problem for you before. Anyway you can fix it by replacing following line with similar text inside “lib/theme-scripts.php” file:

Hi there, can you please help I need to upload pictures for portfolio but the image doesn’t show up, and its seem like upload button doesn’t work and every time I have to make portfolio I have to copy image url every time form my post.

Pixflow: I had long time back requested if you can make the portfolio page more flexible by not restricting the no of images to 10.

please let me know if there can be any way to increase the number of images per portfolio. This restriction is becoming highly obstructive to the otherwise awesome and perfect theme for my website. Please!

Can you please answer the query I left a few weeks ago regarding the fact that I cannot get the home page slider to display since I updated the theme? You kindly quoted the Black Pearl FAQ to me which is very useful, save that I cannot find the “show all options” button/box within my WP Admin panel. When I came back to you with that info, I did not receive a reply!

I am using the latest version of the theme (1.2), and would like to have the home page slider visible once again.

I just bought, downloaded, and uploaded your theme and it’s not working. When I activate it, I only get black and white text. No graphics or theme template. Can you help?

It might be because of “style.css” is not uploaded correctly, I recommend you to upload “style.css” manually using a FTP uploader to wp-content > themes > blackpearl.

The new widgetized contact page doesn’t seem to have the icons that are visible in the demo. Can we expect this in a future version or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, how can only 1 skill type category name be displayed in the 3 portfolio preview boxes on the home page? Some of our portfolios belong to several skill types and I want only the first one to be displayed.

My twitter widget receives this error 90% of the time “Twitter Error: Rate limit exceeded. Clients may not make more than 150 requests per hour.”

According to the forums, this is common. I am pretty unhappy that I cannot find a solution since it doesn’t seem acceptable for a paid theme.

It would be great if you had a solution for this…

Hi Pixflow, Great theme!

Three questions….

1. Is there anyway I can have a slider on the main page when I have latest post set to show—-which shows blog post summaries instead of the little cubes of posts? i have tried, could get it to work.

2. Is there anyway that I can have blog post from a given category show up in a page summary style so i can have sliders there too? for example the page is called “dogs” and the categories of post related to dogs shows up there. Thus far, the only way I find, is to have a post have two categories both “dogs” and the specific post category itself. which is confusing to users.

2. I am also getting the Twitter feed error about 150 clients per hour. what can i do to fix this?

Hello lanceoditt, Thank you! it needs customization to be like that, which is not possible at the moment, and about twitter problem, deleting the “cache” folder will usually solve the problem. Hope it helps.

Hi, Great theme!

I am having a small issue with the blog post feature image. Normally the feature image would only show on the home page or on the blog page with all the other posts but it seems to be showing on the actual blog post too. Is there something I can do to ensure the feature image only ever appears as the feature image and not on the blog post itself?

I purchased this theme for a client and developed it on a “development” domain. Now the site is complete and I’ve tried to move it over to my client’s domain, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it.

Hello,
I haven’t done this before, but usually you have to copy all the blackpearl folder files and database files to your client server, which might still have some problems with website URLs, I recommend to use a backup plugin to do that.

I left a comment 2 days ago about trouble installing google adwords conversion tracking. Need to know how to direct the send button to a thank you page so I can track conversions. I am a bit upset with the no response to me inquiry as this is a theme that I had to purchase. Has there been any research done for this? Where do we stand with this issue?

What I do is , place ads for leads. The code I will be installing is a script code and normally I install it in the page that I want the user to get to in order to track that person or otherwise known as my lead. What I am trying to track is form submissions, so I know what keywords I am using are actually producing results. I would place my conversion tracking script in the body of the thank you page. The thank you page is the page that the user would end up on after filling out a form and sending it to me. Need to know how to create a page in black pearl that can only be reached by filling out the form and clicking send, so I can put my script code on that page, otherwise known as my thank you page.

Well i think thats pretty simple. You create a page and you get a permalink at top of your page editor. You set that link in action attribute of your form in another page you like to submit from. Also you could prevent access to your page by creating custom page template and check if certain value is “Posted” or not.

Do you mean contact form? Its not designed to send your requests to other pages and you have to edit both the contact widget code and “custom.js” files.
