by “banner”, do you mean the big slider on home page or 3 portfolio sliders under it?

I’m really keen on this theme but my one worry is that i’d really like to control the height of the slider as well as having a full width edge to edge slider. Are we talking day, weeks or months for fixing the Java for Revolution slider or more when will you be giving more functionality on your own slider?
Also the testimonials and the ability to add a partners (logo) grid would be great. I know you have some of this in the HTML version so I was again wondering on timescales or would you help with indiv requests?
Btw… for film people like myself this site would be great with a few tweaks its just a tad difficult to visualise as clearly the thrust is on it being a Photographers portfolio. However, I think it shows great potential which is why im seriously considering it

You can change the slider height already, but we can’t give you an exact time on updates and fixing javascript conflict with Revolution Slider due to current projects schedule.

Hi PixFlow: I just started working with the theme and really like the design work behind it. Well done.
However, I am having problems with the shortcode generator not working. I saw someone said it doesn’t work in Chrome, but I can’t get it to work in firefox either. All I get is an empty white box with no options. Any ideas?

When we were developing the shortcode generator it was checked it on latest version of all major browsers and it was working just perfect. Cleaning the browser cache might solve the problem, also you can send us an email through our profile page including a wordpress username and password, so we can investigate the issue.

I’ve tried about 10 different sharebars, they all behave the same way with Black Pearl.
Sharebars get added to Team and Portfolio pages.
It wouldn’t be a bad thing if those pages used standard categories so they could be excluded, but they dont, so the sharebar appears in those pages.
How can I remove the sharebar from Team and Portfolio pages?

unfortunately you can’t do that using default options, unless you know how to customize wordpress templates.

You have to customize “index.php” file, and you can take a look at “template-home.php” to find out how does slider work.
Hello. How to add the number of projects in the Related Portfolios Count more than 15 ?

I’m not sure if i got it right, but if you mean the number of related projects in single portfolio page, it’s based on same categories when you adding a portfolio item.
One more question. Is there a way to disable the portfolio section on the home page so that I can add what I want in that section. What I want to do is go to pages, then to my home page, and add the images that I want without having to do it through the portfolio and anytime I type anything there it does not show up.
You can’t customize home page like that, you have to either make a “full width template” page and put home page sections inside it, or customize “template-home.php” inside wp-content > themes > blackpearl. You have to customize line 24 to 70 to remove portfolio slider and change it with your codes.

I am having a problem adding new portfolio items. It won’t take them. It shows that I added it in the Dashboard, but not on the site. It used to just spin as if waiting to load, but I upgraded to your latest version and now it won’t even take it.

Hi PixFlow, its been a while and not sure if other users have suggested. Would love if you could work on the portfolio/gallery part of the theme. It is not as intuitive as the overall theme is and specifically, the limitation to add 10 pics in a single portfolio is a BIG constraint I am finding, can you please help remove this restriction.
Medium term, would love if you could build a great update, something like Pexato’s expressions has, but the 10pics constraint is an urgent need. Am sure fellow writers will appreciate it and make your theme even better.
Hello, unfortunately we can’t customize it for you at the moment, but I can give you the address on where to do the customization. You have to edit “theme-portfolio-meta-form.php” and “theme-portfolio-meta.php” located inside “lib” folder for adding additional upload fields. also you have to edit “single-portfolio.php” file and look for following lines: for($i=1; $i <= 10; $i++) PortfolioSlide(‘portfolio_image_’.$i); change 10 to number of your portfolio items

When you want to insert an image into your post, you have to “Link to” option to “None”.

I am using it for a charity event I am doing, however on the portfolio section I am using this to keep people updated with whats going on, is it possible to make the portfolio page images smaller?
