Hi,

Great theme! It’s my first magento project and till now everything works perfectly! I do have a question.

On the product pages there are checkboxes below some pictures in the related products sections. I assume these dont belong here…

And is it possible to have a quickview option for these items as well?

Hi,
Thank you for your kind words. Those checkboxes allows you to add marked products along with main product, it is default magento behavior. Quick view is unfortunately available only for main products. By the way, from now we provide support only via ticket system. Thank you for your kind words. The answers for your questions are below:

  1. The “Home” link in the main navigation. How is the workflow? You need to create category under the root category (do not forget to include it in navigation menu) and set in custom link field slash under the Meigee/Enchanced category tab. After that reindex all the data flush the cache and that button will appear on home page. More detailed about mega menu you will read in section “Mega menu” of theme documenation which is included in theme package.
  2. Are there widgets for “topseller” or something for footer area? New products, sale products and Featured category products are available in theme.

Hi, I can’t seem to get the background pattern to show. Under Theme Options – Appearance – I have a pattern checked but it doesn’t show. I also have the background slider turned off and I have the layout to boxed.

Having regular dropdown and megamenu depending on category would be good feature in future.

In recent 1.6 version such feature was already included. To change type of menu go to Catalog -> Manage Categories -> Category edit page -> Meigee/Enchanced Categories and set type of menu in “Top Level Dropdown Menu Type”. Mega menu should be activated (System -> Configuration -> Categories Enchanced). By the way, from now we provide support only via ticket system. I added revolutions slider to the home page ans it works fine but it it breaks other functionality on the page like the background slider

Its a fresh install and used the import function to create the home page revolution slider

Please take a look at theme documentation before theme configuration: the solution which helps you is described in section “Revolution slider” of theme documentation. I installed this on magento 1.9.0.1 Works fine, BUT the one page checkout don’t show shipping methods even they are configured correctly. Version 3.2.3. I disabled the plugin and the shipping methods are showing again.

Hi there, trying to add the “New Products” widget to the home page, but the widget won’t display. The error I get in the log is: 2014-08-26T13:01:05+00:00 ERR (3): Notice: Undefined index: productsfilter in /home/gofishcc/public_html/rhd/app/code/local/Meigee/ThemeOptionsBlacknwhite/Helper/Data.php on line 200 Note: Recently upgraded the theme and not sure if there is anything I need to adjust. Can’t seem to add more than one product to the wishlist. When a wishlist item is added it overwrites the previous one always keeping “1” item in the wishlist.

Hello, Can I disabled the newsletter block in the sidebar and without edit any xml files?

Hi,
Unfortunately, newsletter sidebar can be removed only by editing xml file for now. Admin option which will disable that block will be added iIn next 1.7 version . To remove newsletter sidebar now, go to app\design\frontend\blacknwhite\default\layout\local.xml find and remove or comment out next code:

   <block type="newsletter/subscribe" name="sidebar.subscribe">
    <action method="setTemplate" ifconfig="meigee_blacknwhite_general/newsletter/location">
     <template>newsletter/subscribe.phtml</template> 
    </action>
   </block>

Save changes, flush the cache and the sidebar will disappear.

Every ticket in our ticket system is reviewed and has its answer. After we answered for questions in ticket we send reply and the status of ticket is automatically changed to the “Resolved”, or “Closed”. We checked your last 3 tickets and each of them contains precise answer for your questions. Our answers in ticket system are also forwarded to the emails which is set in profile page of every customer: probably your email service mark our messages as spam, please check your email filters, or probably your account in ticket system uses another email (email of previous developer) and all our messages were sent to the out-dated address, so please check your profile data in ticket system. If you have problems with email messages, you can just follow your tickets in ticket system: go to ticket system, navigate to section Tickets and choose “All tickets” in dropdown list and open your latest tickets and you will see our answers for your questions in those tickets (your tickets IDs are: 1490, 1503, 1504)

Hello, Both ways are correct. If you are familiar with magento and can create categories and products right way by yourself, you don’t need to use sample data.
