Is your theme 1.9.2 compatible?

Hi,
We are currently checking that new magento release and it seems that new version doesn’t touch theme files, so theme should be compatible with magento 1.9.2.0.

So your theme doesn’t overwrite the following for latest Patch 6285?

app/design/frontend/base/default/template/checkout/cart.phtml app/design/frontend/base/default/template/checkout/cart/noItems.phtml app/design/frontend/base/default/template/checkout/onepage/failure.phtml app/design/frontend/base/default/template/rss/order/details.phtml app/design/frontend/base/default/template/wishlist/email/rss.phtml app/design/frontend/enterprise/default/template/checkout/cart.phtml app/design/frontend/rwd/default/template/checkout/cart.phtml

As we said before, we are currently checking the new version and hope that in next few hours we finish that and we will be able to say exactly is the theme compatible with new version. List of already checked files don’t override patch, but we didn’t finished yet, if we find theme files which should be modified in order to be compatible with new magento version we will release a patch for that new 1.9.2.0 magento version as soon as possible.

SUPEE-6285 – I installed the patch but found it broke checkout. When someone submitted and order it fails saying they haven’t filled out any required fields (when they are all filled out correctly) I had to revert back. Please advise.

Hi,
That patch is a part of magento 1.9.2.0, while for now Blacknwhite theme is compatible with magento up to 1.9.1.0 version. Anyway, we almost finished development of patch for that new 1.9.2.0 magento version and hope that it will be released in next 1-2 days.

hi I am confused with the user guide. the user guide really horrible. I want to change the image silder in home page and we have 7 static block whose name is slider

disabled them all and nothing works.

can you please make a better user guide? it’s very frustating here

Hi,
We are constantly working on improvements of theme documentation, so feel free to share with us your suggestions about it via ticket system. Concerning visible static blocks of header slider – all you need to do after applying any backend changes is to flush all the cache (System -> Cache management); if you are apply changes which concern products/categories/stores/attributes you also need to reindex all the data (System -> Index management), this is all magento behavior and nothing special to our theme. We recommend to disable cache completely while store configuration in order to see all changes on frontend immediately – that will save your time and prevent appearing of similar problem as described in your message.

How can I add the same layered navigation from catalog (with swatches and price slider) to the search result page?

Hi,
We will add layered navigation block on search page in next theme version, for now that block is supposed to be displayed on product listing pages only.

bro i need help with blog and brands slider please help

Hi,
Please upload app and skin folders from the Theme Files\Extensions\aw_blog\ folder of your theme package to the root of your magento, flush all the cache and posts will look the same as on demo. By the way, from now we provide support only via ticket system. Please send your further request through that form Don’t forget to provide your purchase code

With best regards, Dylan

Done bro and solved! I sent you a ticket… now I have this error in all categories… Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 840 bytes) in /home/iaidea/public_html/lib/Varien/Image/Adapter/Gd2.php on line 402

Hi,
We answered in your ticket about this problem which is actually not theme related. Please check your ticket in which we added some wide-spread solutions of that issue.

Hello,

I have purchased the Black&white magento theme recently. The design is really good and user-friendly, but there are some technical problems I have encountered. I have inserted two featured category extended widgets on my home page, but both of the “add to cart” buttons do not work. Also, I would like to ask you how I can add additional store languages to the store.

Many thanks, Ken

Hi,
Thank you for theme purchasing and for your kind words. How to create multilanguage website is described here: http://sherodesigns.com/magento-tutorial-creating-multi-language-stores/ or you can use any other resource where managing of stores is described. Concerning add to cart:it’s hard to advise based on description, please contact us via ticket system with all technical details and we will investigate the issue, since add to cart buttons are working nice on demo version, we assume that issue appears on your server only, that’s why we need your store data.

Hi ..I like your theme but before buying have a question – would you know if your theme works well with the Unirgy Marketplace Extension ? https://secure.unirgy.com/products/umarketplace/magento-multi-vendor-marketplace By all accounts well coded & a good quality product from ex Magento coders.

Hi,
Thank you for showing interest to our themes. We’re unable to guarantee that third-party extensions will work “out of the box” with our theme. This is extension author’s responsibility. Each extension modifies theme/Magento functionality in different way, so it’s not up to us how it will work. The best option is to ask about details authors of that extension, they will know better how the extension works, what elements of themes it overrides and how to integrate it with custom themes.
