We’ve replied to your ticket ;)

Working on this theme for a client. I can provide the license # if needed to you. We want to change the behavior of the featured image on the homepage and have it load into the blog post ( link other traditional featured image photos) and remove the lightbox image effect.

Is there an easy way to do this?

So sorry about the repeat entry

Hi, are you using a blog page as your home page?

Hey, great theme! I was wondering some things though. My friend has this theme but we would like to use some animations in the single portfolio page content.

For example, you got 3 blocks. And the third block fades in when it’s visible in the browser. I’m able to animate some but I can’t figure this one out? Any chance you guys could help me out? Thanks!

You should have a look at how CSS media queries work: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/CSS/Media_queries

Thanks it partly worked, when I add images throught the text box display: none works but when I upload images and assign them to a css class with display: none, they are still visible?

edit: visibility: hidden; works though but it leaves an open space..

edt2: nevermind, I forgot the !important sign . thanks!

Glad you solved!

Can I use “filter” on stripe portfolio, instead of boxed one?

Thank you, Michael

THBThemes

Hi there,

unfortunately the stripe portfolio is not filterable, sorry!

Cheers!

Is there any way to add a shadow or highlight to the links in the website header? When I have a dark image on my homepage slider the text blends in. I can’t to get the overlay to work either…

Thanks for the help!

THBThemes

You should use an overlay for those slides, even if you’re not actually showing it. You can edit each slide by clicking on the ”...” icon on backend, then set an overlay for the slide. A dark overlay will generate a light text, and viceversa.

Ahhh, thank you!

Hello,

I installed this theme but am having trouble. I turned off the responsitivity features because I want it to look just like the website in my browser, only some parts look similar, while others look terrible. on my phone.

At the very least turning off the responsitivity should guarantee my site looks the same in both web & mobile browsers.

- The header image doesn’t display across the page - The website width doesn’t is too large for the mobile browser. My layout is fixed width,it should view appropriately across the browser. - The page background doesn’t tile across the browser either.

Can you assist with this?

Are there videos or instructions for people completely new to this? I saw the few videos you have on you tube and they are great but only show how to do a few things (that others likely think are easy!!). For example, the main page on the Blaine demo…..how is that achieved?

THBThemes

Hey there,

we’ve the “Blaine” YouTube playlist http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRcW-as7a7gCGzS5gbTZhLKnVs5Jw1rG0 that cover all the main theme features, included in the main package you can find also the dummy content xml file that basically replicate our online demo if you mind to understand how a page has been built. The main page is a portfolio-stripe page template with an header slideshow a couple of shortcodes with icon and text.

I fear the Google Analytics code is placed wrongly when you enter it in the “Theme options—> General” Form. Because if I look in the source code, it is placed somewhere in the middle, but definitely below < body >. But according to Google Analytics it must be placed right before < / head >. I stumbled upon this because my Google Analytics account is saying they can’t find my code. I would kindly as you to check this and tell me if I am right in saying that I’ve found a bug.

And if I am right, how am I able to put the code correctly?

Hi. I As far as i can see your no longer selling the Bigfoot theme. So Ill try asking here insted.

The social icons at the bottom. Is it possible to edit the look of these ore create new ones myself? I cant find any of them i a gif/jpg form in the template as i thought. I would like a email icon. So my first plan was to just edit the look of google+ from “g+” to ”@” linking to mailto:mail@mail.com

Thanks for a awsome looking theme And hope my question makes sence..

THBThemes

Hi there,

as stated also on our forum we don’t support anymore this free item. Concerning your question, social icons are made using an icon font, so you can create a new icon font by yourself and add the icon in the same way of the social icons.

Regards

Hey, Great theme! A couple questions before purchase.

1. For the “stripe” portfolio layout, do I have control over the stripe height? 2. Are you able to add a couple rows of “stripe” projects to the home page with call to actions to take a user to that specific portfolio project?

Hopefully that makes sense!

Thanks.

THBThemes

Hi there,

unfortunately there isn’t an option to control the stripe height quickly but on every stripe you can add a custom CSS class that allows you top create your own style.

Regards

I super, extra LOVE this theme. Just sayin’

There’s one small issue::

It seems to be acting wonky with the iPhone’s Safari browser. Often, the site comes up blank on there, but it comes up fine on Chrome. In fact, I just checked, and my site is doing it again: http://marcusamaker.com

And it only seems to be acting funny when it’s not on Wifi. I’m confused.

Thanks for any help / advice. I would just check its compatibility with Safari’s mobile browser to make sure everything is working fine.

Thanks again!

Hi there,

Really love the theme and the videos are really helpful. Good job. Thinking of buying it, just a few questions.

1. Can you have the Stripe Portfolio styling option on the homepage and also have another portfolio option on the Portfolio page like 5 Cols Extended, or is it all or nothing.

2. Is the Google Fonts integration built in to this theme as well, seems to be a different theme in the video.

3. Can you have a Flickr feed in one of the footer cols

Thanks for the reply

Just two more questions;

1. If you have the stripe portfolio on the Home Page – can you set it up in such away that one of the item links can go to a link other than a portfolio item, say to a blog or a case study … is this possible? Is there a work around?

2. I take it you can have non stripe portfolio version on the Home Page also instead of the stripe?

thanks again Mike

THBThemes

Hi,

1) We’re afraid that’s not possible, sorry! 2) Yup, just create a regular portfolio page and set it to be as a static home page.
