getting an error message when uploading the theme! below is the error

You may change theme skin only. Unfortunately there’s no option in theme settings for the navigation menu color changing.

How do I get rid of the “Leave a Comment” form on the full width pages? I have all the pages set correctly to full width and didn’t think a comment form would be on those.

Also when I go to “appearance” and “editor” it gives me this error message: Sorry, can’t edit files with “..” in the name. If you are trying to edit a file in your WordPress home directory, you can just type the name of the file in.
It’s hard to say what may cause this. Need to see your web site first.
Are you sure you’ve been using compatible WP version?
Sorry a few other things. I put in my own footer text in the footer options but the “Blakesley © 2010 | All Rights Reserved” is still there.
Also everytime I make a change to the template the changes take awhile to actually show up when all themes I’ve used updated right away.
Love your themes and want to keep buying them but this one has been giving me a lot of trouble.

Ok now I am pissed. I asked about getting rid of the comment form on the full width pages I created. The link you sent with the video that explains how to get to rid of is completely IRRELEVANT since its showing how to edit a post page / default page.
The only page that doesn’t show it is http://wcinspection.com/about/So how do make all my other full width pages show like that?
again this page I selected the FULL WIDTH option which should not have any type of comment box, option, form … nothing.
Please let me know how to resolve this. thank you.
This is a very rude manner to ask for a help.
The full width page has similar option for turning off comments as any other one. You should turn off the commenting for your pages manually now. All new pages should appear without comments box if you have enabled it for older pages and posts.

Dear Chris. Most of all this issue is caused by incompatible WP version that you’ve been using. Unfortunately Blakesley is not compatible with the latest WP. Only with Wordpress 3.0.

Seems like you’ve changed your wp-admin credentials so I can’t get to your admin area.
As about some other theme – you can go here and read about our most recent theme capabilities in the documentation and also learn more about it from a live preview. They mostly have same functions, but different design.
I’d rather advice you this one if you need it to look a bit similar to Blakesley. But surely you can choose another one. All these themes have online docs with FAQ , so you will have an opportunity to get the answers quicker

If you’d like to have better theme with full browser and mobile device compatibility, you may choose one of our latest works.
Let us advice you Ambleside or Expresso. These themes are responsive, have similar functions, but differ in design. If you need to have Background Manager, you can use Willbridge theme.

Hi, I am having issues with adding a 7th Album to my Gallery page for some reason when I create a new album my other albums disappear, and when I delete the new album the existing albums reappear. Please can you let me know if there are any restrictions on adding more than 6 albums? or is this a bug? Any help on this would be very much appreciated. BTW, I have the latest version on WP installed.
I tried installing the new theme, and although adding new albums works my images on on my homeslider now does not appear and also the same for the galleries listings – I will send a direct message.

What version have you been using? Is it the recent one 3.0? If not, please, update the theme.
To update the theme, please, follow to your Downloads tab on Themeforest and click “download”. Then follow to the blakesley_2.1_to_3.0_fixes folder and open README.txt, you’ll find the instruction on update there. Basically you should replace some files at your server. But please, make a backup beforehand – just in case. If you have made some code changes in style.css, the update can harm your customization. You should copy changed code to the new file.

HI – I’ve downloaded and installed, but the admin panel does not seem to function properly – the question marks don’t bring up help boxes, the Help and Forum links go to dead pages on your site, and so far only 1 of the options I have tried to change has actually had any effect on the site.
When I try to pick the background colour the picker box does not pop up with a colour chart, and typing the color code does not work either. I am using Chrome but have tried in Firefox too with no better results.
Please help as I need to get this working or else the purchase is pretty much useless!
Hm… I wonder maybe you’ve downloaded the theme archive before recent update? What version have you been using? Is it 3.0? If not, please, update the theme.
Also, do you have some active plugins? If you do, please, try to deactivate them one by one and see whether one of them affects.
We don’t guarantee, that our theme would work properly with any plugin, except of WordPress Importer or Contact Form 7 (which are 100% compatible).

I submitted a support ticket regarding my dropdown menu not working on the home page at signsandneon.com. It works on all other pages just not the home page. Everything was working fine and then it suddenly stopped. It looks like someone logged in and disabled the NextGalley plugin which fixed the issue but disabled the galleries which are an important part of the site. Can you suggest why this is happening or offer a fix. It is odd that it worked fine and now does not. Should I re-install the theme or can someone troubleshoot for me? I would also appreciate an email response to support tickets so I know that someone is seeing and/or acting on them. I am assuming that you guys logged in and disabled NextGen plugiin…. but nobody bothered to tell me.

If something suddenly stops working, most likely you’ve added incompatible plugin or made some changes in the theme code. But it’s hard to say for sure unless we have a full access to your web site.
Indeed, first thing that our support agents do is disable plugins (as you know, we don’t guarantee compatibility with additional plugins and advice to disable them to see if they affect), then they check all the appropriate file permissions and may even activate default theme to see if the issue occurs in the default configuration.
However, as I see you have only one ticket – it’s #3127 at Zendesk. Not sure if this ticket is the one you referred to, because you were suggested to update your theme back in early February. Our last reply was on February 11, you never wrote us back. I’m a bit confused
