Blakesley - Premium Business & Portfolio wordpress

Hi, I love this theme but an having trouble installing on wordpress. I receive a wordpress failure notice “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again” Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your reply. I also tried to post in the theme forum but never received my password.

I uploaded blakesley_2.2.zip (the clean version) from the themes folder. Still getting the same message. Thanks in advance for your support.

Where/how can i see which version of timthumb i’m using? I’ve been “trojanized” too many times and am considering another theme. :/

I have a issue in this moment and I hope that you can help me please.

The issue is when I try see the thumbnails on portfolio pages, those images don’t display in lightbox.

For example, You can see this issue here:

I have checked from admin panel in each edit project panel and all projects are set with the option: “Show Lightbox” . This option is enabled in all projects.

I don’t know what happen.

How can I fix it?

I appreciate what you can do for me.

I have tried several attempts at uploading and using wordpress for the install… I have unpacked everything correctly but still not working.. I have also sent you an email via your contact form page.

Its not uploading for me! It just keeps freezing and not uploading and saying: “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again later”

Question before I purchase. I’m checking out your demo, and everything looks great! My only question is if there is a way to have more than one portfolio page at a time? For instance, one portfolio page for Video, one for Photography, and one for Design? I also see that in the URL , it says http://blakesley.cmsmasters.net/?portfolios=architecture-1. Can I change it so that it says http://mysite.com/?video=demoreel1? and http://mysite.com/?photography=tearsheet1 and so on? I’ve had trouble with templates in the past, but want to confirm that this is possible before I make this purchase. Thanks!

The excerpt doesn’t work in this theme, you got the products, you create a lengthy description and the excerpt that you create doesn’t show up instead your full description shows up in the product page.

Hi, great theme, I have found it a pleasure to work with so far and things are moving along great!

I have one question for you however:

On the portfolio and gallery pages, no matter how many columns I select or items I add, the portfolio only shows 5 per page. This creates some really weird layouts when selecting the 2, 3, or 4 column layout.

for ex. The portfolio has 7 items total and is set to a 3 column layout. The first page has 5 items in 3 columns with 3 items in the first row, and 2 items in the second row. The buttons are under the first image in the 3rd column. I would’ve thought the page would have 6 items (split in two rows, with the 7th item starting on the next page), with the pagination underneath it all.

Is this how it is supposed to be? It looks as if the pages could hold more—and it creates some really bad layout options. I’ve looked for a setting in wordpress but can’t find it.

I like the looks of theme, but I’m having a lot of problems with this theme. A lot of plugins doens’t seem to work/cooperate with it. For example socialmedia share plugins and pricing plugins.

I even cant add any hyperlink in the portfolio section, when i try…a lot of messy code will appear on the website and the portfolio is all messed up.

What’s wrong?

I found several more bugs in the software:

Cannot see the products in Menu designer. There are spacing issues with the shortcodes. Shortcodes don’t allow the use of bullet points.

These are rather big issues.

few problems i am running when i put Turkish characters, such as ?, Ü, ?

when page loads, i can see them but when page is done, Turkish characters will be invisible?

secondly on portfolio page, when i change the column number to 4, first line become 4 portfolio but second line have only 1 portfolio and it shows the link to page 2, so there are only 5 portfolio in one page and remaining portfolios on the second page. I am trying to avoid the 2nd page.please advise?

another thing is how can i make only 1 page on the portfolio even i choose 3 or 2 columns? 8 portfolio only 1 page?

I need to translate only four words: 1- “Page” to “Página” 2- “of” to “de” 3 – ”<< First” to ”<< Primera” 4 – “Last >>” to ”’Última >>” I tryed a lot of things. One of them was modify the file “wp-pagenavi.php” and changed words, but didn’t work. I tryed to install last wp-pagenavy’s plugin but didn’t work. I download the original version (wp-pagenavi.2.50) but again didn’t work. It seems easy but it has not. What can i do?

How can I changethe label in the footer area where it says “more widgets? I want the function of the drop down, but dont want it to say “more widgets”

Hey guys, i recently took over this site that had been built, and the theme Blakesley had been bought and used within it.

I’ve ran into a problem, which I think started when I updated WordPress from 2.2 to the latest version.

Basically these pages display posts in a certain way, as a “gallery”. The image displayed is the “featured image” of the post, and the heading is the “title” of the post. When you click the image it uses the themes in built “lightbox” to launch a pop-up with a youtube video.

The featured image is loaded via timthumb.

All works fine in Firefox and Chrome, but after the first post image, it cannot load the rest on Internet Explorer. As you can see:

I can’t figure out why IE freaks out so much.
