It asks for me a purchase code but the thing is that a friend gifted me the theme for my birthday so he has the purchase code and unfortunately I don’t have contact with him anymore if not I would tell him to ask the question for me, do you think you could just help me with this question? I know you aren’t authorized to help unless they have bought the theme but please only for this occasion, thanks!

How do I edit the width of the contact form fields? They currently stretch the whole width of the page and look odd. I would like them to look more like those on a traditional contact form i.e. Linkage.
Unfortunately it’s impossible. You may use vertical sidebar on the page to make it more narrow.
Impossible? Why on Earth would you create a contact form like no other? Why wouldn’t you create a contact form that looked like every other contact form? My client wants a standard contact form and I have to tell him to ‘it’s impossible’? Point me in the direction of refunds please!
If you elaborate your site for a client, as a specialist you should have some coding skills. So you may implement this easily via CSS . But as contact form fields’ size customizing has no connection to theme functionality, we don’t provide such deep coding assistance.

I have never claimed to be a specialist.
There’s no law that states one needs to be an expert to implement a theme for a client. In fact, quite the opposite. I use themes to make life simple for everyone involved and reduce costs. It also helps pay your wages.
The level of assistance with themes sold here on Themeforest varies considerably, as does the attitude from authors.
Firstly you claim that simply reducing the width of the fields is “impossible” and now you claim it is possible but refuse to tell me how because it is unrelated to the function of the theme.
It is my opinion that the appearance of the theme IS a function of the theme and it is also my opinion that this contact form does not look good with fields spread across the width. In fact, I have never come across a site with such a form.
For those considering purchasing this theme and don’t object to the odd contact form, buy it with some confidence but don’t expect assistance editing the appearance in any way because it is not considered a function of a theme.
For those considering purchasing this theme who don’t like the contact form, the answer is quite simple, don’t buy it.

Firstly, according to Envato’s policy, we don’t have to provide support for any of our product. We do it because we care about our customers and expect that they will be loyal to us in return.
Secondly. You bought a WP theme with no option for contact form width customizing. You saw it’s functionality before purchasing and it’s completely different from those you’d like it to be look like now (www.weekendervillas.com/contact/).
Its really impossible to change fields’ size in this form, unless you’re coder. But you admit you’re not. So there’s no way to implement this for you. And it’s not our responsibility to teach you how to work with CSS files.
And finally. Please, read comments and you’ll see that no one complains on functions which are beyond theme functionality – it’s a mauvais ton. What you do is just trying to take off responsibility for your choice with this non-respectful behavior.
I take full responsibility for my bad choice. I was mistakenly hoping for some consistency in service and apologise profusely.
Policy or not, support for a product or service one offers is good business sense.
Additionally, I apologise for asking the question in the first place it was a dumb thing to do prompted by previous experience with other authors who were more than willing to help out.
My previous comments were very harsh and instead urge everyone to buy this theme but read the first dozen pages of comments before deciding.

You can use toggles.
Some widgets (like for example Recent Testimonials, Portfolio Items and Latest Products) have sliding feature.
The bottom sidebar can be opened or closed by default.
There is no actual support for this theme, do not buy.

yes nearly waiting two weeks for this slider issue, i can’t even get the name of the plugin used so i can try to figure it out on my own in the meantime. there is no ETA on when this would be resolved.
Don’t recommend this theme. Note IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE LATEST VERSION OF WORDPRESS . Also, Envato will NOT work with you if you mess up and buy it without noticing this (even though it’s not clear that is is ONLY compatible with WP 3 .0 – recommendation to developer – make it clear!) and WILL NOT offer a credit or refund. Scan this listing closely before purchasing – BUYER BEWARE . May be a nice theme if you are using WP 3 .0 ONLY , not compatible with newer versions of WP. Plus, developer has NO PLANS to update it to current version of WP.
I recently purchased your Blakesley theme and it looks great, the only issue I have is that the font in the menus does not fit in the tabs like the demo. Is there something I need to do to fix this? I have checked several different browsers and it is the same issue in all of them. Thanks in Advance

I love the demo, and i purchase, and in 3 hours im having a lot of problems with this theme. A lot of plugins doens’t seem to work/cooperate with it. its slow to work and making the updates…
