Blakesley - Premium Business & Portfolio wordpress

The link on the forum doesn’t work. I’ve tried on Mac and PC and can’t get it to download. It downloaded a tiny file on the Mac but it says it’s empty. Any chance of another link please?

Is there a setting somewhere to make the slider images fit correctly? No matter what size I use it seems to zoom into the centre of the image. I can’t see any mention of what size to use for these images in the documentation.

Also, a PDF manual is always better than the web based manuals because they can be printed out easily and are easier to work with. If you already have one then a link would be great.

Howdy! I Bought the theme, installed the regular version and it gave me a 500 internal error page when i tried to log into the user page. I deleted the theme and restored my old word press theme. I want to try again, what could I have done wrong? THANKS ! (BTW i’m using 1and1 host)

I just uploaded the “demo” version. I went to the Wordpress theme section and selected “preview” under the “Blakesley theme (i don’t want to activate it yet just in case. Last time i had to restore my whole wordpress blog. Well after i clicked on “Preview” i received this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /homepages/33/d318295736/htdocs/wp-content/themes/BLAKESLEY/functions.php on line 61

I was thinking about buying this theme and I was just wondering if the homepage on the bottom was due to using sidebar widgets? or is it a custom page template using 3 column shortcode?

Hi Great job on making a great theme. Just one question i remember that before you had a author section after each post. Now on the wordpress you don’t. Is this something you plan on doing on a later release.

I also found an error on the theme. On my front page i Have the Popular News Widget but when i visit my site it look strange I did a screen shot so you can see it.

I recently purchased your Blakesley theme 2 days ago but have been unable to make it active and receiving the internal error message. I even replaced the .php file just to make sure it had been updated, I also made sure all files were executable (777). Not sure what else could be wrong, any assistance would be great. Cant wait to get the theme up and running. Also my host is of course godaddy.

After updating to 1.2 I’m now getting this error both on the Public site and Admin:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CASE in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\#####\wp\wp-content\themes\BLAKESLEY\theme\administrator\admin-interface.php on line 306

I have made a clean WP install and tried the theme but I get the same error.

Any chance you can look at this ASAP ?

Hello! I just bought the theme a couple of days ago, I’m running the latest version of WP and PHP 5 .2.9 .. I’m currently having a problem with the thumbnails.. I’ve uploaded the theme and gave it the correct permissions however the thumbnails doesn’t seem to work.

Does the video slider on the home page support video hosted by third-party hosting sites other than youtube or vimeo? I use another service and I’d like to have a video on the home page, as well as in individual posts. Thanks.

Before buying this theme I have some questions.

1) Is it possible to show only the title of a blog entry (instead of the extra info, image an excerpt)?

2) Is it possibile to have unlimited blog entries on one page?

3) Is it possible to change the amounth of slides in the accordion slider?

4) Is it possible to change the amounth of columns in the middle on the homepage (who are we, popular, what’s new).

5) ofcourse its possible to change the content to whatever we want for the items in point 4?

Is there a online manual or instruction movies so we can allready see the options in the cms?
