Hey, for gallerea ..I’m experiencing some lag in transition. I’m thinking it has something to do with my images itself maybe. What file size would you recommend? and what resolution as well? because some of my pictures have alot of noise on there.

I know that much, but doesnt it automatically resize them? Could the laggin problem be because i didnt reduce the size? also the noise?
Well yeah, so you need to play with your optimization settings, find a balance between file size and quality.

I’m using the [half_width] shortcode, along with the [blog] shortcode so blog shows up on the right side of the page. However, it’s not giving me proper post dates… instead it’s returning today’s date.
The difference in the code I’ve found is the loop in other.php (for the shortcodes) has get_the_time(‘F jS, Y’) while the main loop has the_time(‘F jS, Y’). I tried the latter in the context of other.php (line 305), but it doesn’t return anything.

Hello sir! I am experiencing issues with the “light” theme. The Shortcode “[hr]” doesn’t seem to be working. Is there something I can do to fix this?

That shortcode is no longer active, just disregard it, I’ll remove it on the next update.
Just a quick note to follow up. Looks like any time the [blog] shortcode is used, on a page that is not the official ‘blog’ page (in Settings>Reading) the post date does not return properly. Instead, it returns the date of the page, not each post. Do you have a fix suggestion for this? If possible today if you’re available, as we’re launching tonight!

Ok, one last item – this one rather more important. On a default install, how do you get the sidebar to display on the Category archive pages? The loop does not appear to be running correctly, by default.

Looking at the sourcecode, it’s totally different… on mine, there is a completely different loop running.

Hi, I have a problem with the mail from the contact form. I entered my Email under ‘Design/Contact Form” and on the page I entered [contactform].
But when I send the form, no email will be send. Just the form is empty again. What could I do?

Basically you create your posts, assign each post to a category, then you add the category id/s to the shortcode to generate the gallery.
The tag is not working for me. I have checked Firefox and Chrome. Am I missing something?

Just bought the theme and love it! I am fairly new to this, but have been able to get everything to work except I can’t seem to get rid of the “Leave Comment” box. I’ve turned everything off in the screen options under edit page but that didn’t do the trick. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is there any way to ad more than one sidebar widget to a page, e.g, “Recent Projects” and then underneath that “Twitter Feed”? The DZS Post settings only gives an option for one widget per page.

so when i create a “category” for my portfolio item it also shows up under the blog category list also… I want separate categories for each. Is this possible. also, can i remove the details button from the portfolio items

Hi, I’d like to at a favicon to my site and can’t get it to work. I see, that favicon is mentioned in your header.php, but please explain what I’ll need to do to have the favicon displayed. I downloaded favicon.ico to the root directory and also tried it by adding
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico">without success.try using an absolute path to your favicon ie http://yourdomain.com/pathtofavicon

Please let me know the correct code and if header.php just before the end tag is the right location to put it in.BTW What is your favicon code doing? I’ve created the shortcode for categories, but is there a way to remove the “All Categories” from one page? I’m basically trying to create a separate portfolio for Video and Photos. Otherwise I will just have to create a page for video from scratch.
Also, my categories from portfolio items are appearing in my blog post categories, I want my blog pages to be separate as well.
I don’t recommend removing the All Categories button, if you must you’ll need to edit plugins/portfolio/portfolio.php
Regarding categories can provide a link to your site.
