Awesome!! Bravo!!! Waiting WP version
Thanks mate
WP versions of my templates will be my next project
Hi nforce,
The Wordpress version is now available: http://themeforest.net/item/blitz-responsive-unique-wordpress-theme/3364709OMG this is a good news!!!
Fresh ideas , congrats !
Thanks mate
Very nice work! GWLS
Thanks mate, appreciate it
nice theme ! is possible to insert some links in description ? (for example opening a new tab) thanks
Let me first get this right so I can answer your question properly. You want to put a link in the photo description and link it to a page/tab (About, Contact etc.) when visitor clicks?
And btw thanks for the compliment
Thanks for your quick answer
i would link to put a link in the photo description and link it to external links these links would open in a new tab in the brother
thks
<li><a href="photos/photo1.jpg"><img src="photos/photo1.jpg" alt="Photo title" title="Photo description. <a href='http://www.google.dk' target='_blank'>Link here</a>" /></a></li>But remember it’s now valid HTML to do it like this. And also, I haven’t styled the links as I didn’t expect anyone to do this, but I will add the CSS in the next update. Just add something like a:
#photoDescription a { color:#fff; }<- White links or#photoDescription a { color:#000; }<- Black linksin the bottom of the style.css document. You could also do it for the light version by adding it to light.css
Thank you very much for your quick and complete answer
My pleasure
Awesome
GLWS
Thanks mate
I’m loving this theme. It’s not viewing correctly on my Galaxy S2. Doesn’t show the images, only shows a black screen with the name of the website and the category “fashion” in landscape mode. Holding it upright, I see it works ok, a little querky though. I love the navigation menu you must have made for mobile devices, but the images seem to be resizing ever so slightly, so they look like they’re vibrating. Weird. I’ll check the iPad & iPhone when I get home. Any thoughts? Also, check out this screenshot capture of what it looked like on my laptop. It goes back to normal when I hit refresh, so it just seems like a little kink.
Question: Can the pictures themselves be links to a page, like about, contact, etc? I saw the comment above, but I want these links to stay IN the website itself. This theme really is impressive. Unique perspective on design.
Hi questthewordsmith
It seems like I’m having some issues with Galaxy S2, the real thing only, emulator works fine, but I will take care of that asap. Thanks for the heads-up.
I saw your screenshot and I don’t know why it’s executing the website like that. I’ve tryed in every major browser and I haven’t seen the page execute like that. If it was fixed after the reload I guess the browser didn’t execute it right and made a glitch. I’ve tryed on multiple computers, even some laptops, and didn’t experience such thing. If it occurs again, please let me know and I will take a closer look at it.
Regarding the pictures with links to pages, yes it is possible, but I didn’t build the template like that first. But whenever I do templates I always listen to what people requests and add it to ideas for next update, so thanks for the idea, I’ve wrote it down on my update-list for this template.
So good.
Thanks
Amazing!
Thanks mate!
Also, is there a way to have a blog within this website? I see the template doesn’t have one. Any ideas of connecting a wordpress blog to this but keeping everything IN this template? Maybe a blog script from code-canyon as an add-on to this? Thanks!
Not at this moment no. Here’s an idea of how I would build it:
It’s quite simple though and can be handled by WP if you know your coding. I will consider this for the next update.
I am not familiar with any plugins that can handle what you request, I code everything myself from-scratch so actually I am not familiar with such scripts at all. FYI a wordpress version of this template will be available in the future
NICE !!!
I love it!!!
Thanks buddy
Amazing! so clean and beautiful when are WP Version Coming? I need it now
Thanks! I would love to give it to you now but I can’t, sorry
I can’t say when it will be done, but the WP version is definitely coming!
Hi Robbie2010,
The Wordpress version is now available: http://themeforest.net/item/blitz-responsive-unique-wordpress-theme/3364709Nice one! Perfect for my Page!
I have a few questions: 1)Is it possible to add a submenu? 2)Is it possible to link from a picture to an internal category?
Maybe you can help me! Best regards
Hi there. Thanks
I’ts not it possible to make submenus due to the structure of the code, but I will write the idea down and see if I can build it for the next update. As well the idea about intern linking to pages and/or categories. The functionality of the template is all demonstrated in the online demo.
FYI , updates does not require to change the whole website, a few lines will be added so it will be easy to update even though you already set up the template. An upgrade-guide in the documentation will come with any update I make for my templates
I want to buy this theme its amazing but Can i easily change photos remove titles etc. Is there any tutorial? Also can you make custom mouse rollover gallery for before after images? retouchlab [at] gmail com Waiting your e-mail Thank you
Please check your mail. For others that might have the same questions here is a short version of the answer in the mail I’ve sent to Retouchlab:
It is very easy to add & remove photos and galleries. To add a photo simply add this line:
<li><a href="photos/your-photo.jpg"><img src="photos/your-photo.jpg" alt="Photo title" title="Photo description" /></a></li>It’s all described in the documentation that comes with the purchase.
Regarding the mouseover effect, it is not implemented, all features implemented can be seen in the demo.
But for all my templates I take the feedback serious, and new features will be added with updates whenever people request it. I’ve made a note of your request for the next update.
Thank you so much!! Best support ever!!
My pleasure

Maybe you can help me to solve the problem.....
Hi Gerhard,
Please wrap your code inside CODE -tag here in order for me to see your code.
Please provide an online demo so I can see what’s going wrong. You can contact me on mail with demo link and infos. I’ve tryed with up to 30 photos and it works fine.
<ul class="items" id="hofcafe"> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/01.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/01.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/02.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/02.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/03.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/03.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/04.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/04.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/05.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/05.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/06.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/06.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/07.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/07.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/08.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/08.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/09.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/09.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/10.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/10.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/11.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/11.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/12.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/12.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/13.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/13.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/14.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/14.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> <li><a href="photos/fotos_hofcafe/15.jpg"><img src="photos/fotos_hofcafe/15.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></li> </ul>Please link me to your demo so I can see it in action.
If you do not have alt or title tag then remove them rather than letting them be empty. If you don’t want them to appear then change photoTitleOpacity and photoDescriptionOpacity to 0 in main.js settings.
the link is: www.bsdasv.de/demo
Go to css/style.css – Line 16. Change width:1000% to width:10000%
That should fix it.I will make an automatic calculation of photos width for future update.
Does the theme support videos?
At this moment it’s a photo portfolio and does not support video integration.
Fantastic theme and definitely making it my first purchase on here.
Quick question, does the theme support lightbox style pop-ups for expanded viewing of images?
Thanks a lot, amazing work.
Hi MrInconspicuous, Thanks for your interest in my work and your kind words
A lightbox could be easily implemented, but the photos is set to 100% height of the window, so actually the lightbox would minimize the preview of the photos, so I don’t see the point of having lightbox to the photos.
hmm, defo interested if you can get some video action rockin’ looking for a new portfolio site and this is looking good.. Mainly video content i’m looking to show though
Hi Andology, I’m actually currently working on an update which includes the video support plugin. So keep an eye for the update coming soon.
Nice theme mate! I am playing with your theme right now. Is there a possibility to see the caption/title as it is implemented now, but with moving the mouse have the caption/title disappear? It is blocking such a large area of the image. I do know one can choose NOT to have the caption/title, but I want them for a while and then move them away. Thanks.
Hi oratorio. You could animate the photo title & description on mouseover by adding this code:
$('#photoTitle').mouseover(function() { var elementHeight = $('#'+$.settings.category+".items li.active").height(); $('#photoTitle').stop(false, false).animate({top: elementHeight, opacity:$.settings.photoTitleOpacity}, 350, function() { }); $('#photoDescription').stop(false, false).animate({top: elementHeight, opacity:$.settings.photoTitleOpacity}, 350, function() { }); });Add it to main.js on line 639 Let me know if you have further questions
Edit
Use this code instead, it will put the title & description back to the correct position$('#photoTitle').mouseover(function() { var elementHeight = $('#'+$.settings.category+".items li.active").height(); var elementPosition = $('#'+$.settings.category+".items li.active").position().top; $('#photoTitle').stop(false, false).animate({top: elementHeight+elementPosition, opacity:$.settings.photoTitleOpacity}, 350, function() { }); $('#photoDescription').stop(false, false).animate({top: elementHeight+elementPosition, opacity:$.settings.photoTitleOpacity}, 350, function() { }); });Sorry, didn’t test the code right first time
Terrific! I’ll report on it tomorrow!
Fabulous! Thank you for your help!
My pleasure
Fantastic theme! A question: when I open it for the first time, the preload takes 2/3 minutes to load, is it possible to have each photo downloaded when displayed and not in bulk at the first loading? in few words, I don’t like the preload that remembers me too much the flash sites and could be slow with many photos. Thanks
Hi Machia,
There will be added new features such as: - Blog with AJAX load - Youtube/Vimeo video support - And a few bug fixes
All will be applied soon. I will try to see if it will be possible to add the requested loading-feature as well in next update.
Thanks for your interest in my template, appreciate it.
Thank you!
Amazing work ! Can i just have some “fullscreen pictures” ?
I try to explain : I just want to have one picture at the time, without seeing other prev or next image on the screen.
I tried something like : min-width:100%; but doesn’t work
Please can you help me ?
Hi digipen,
I’ve made two solutions for you, as your question can be interpreted in different ways, so I hope one of these will cover your needs.
Solution 1 – CSS
You could remove the opacity if you only want focus on 1 picture at a time.Go to style.css (line 43) and replace this:
ul.items li { float:left; padding:0; margin:0; opacity:0.15; }with this
ul.items li { float:left; padding:0; margin:0; opacity:0; }Solution 2 – Javascript
Or you could add this on line 226 in main.js. This will make the<li />width same as window width and center the image inside.var theWidth = $(window).width(); // Adjust items $('.items li').each(function(){ $(this).width(theWidth); $(this).css('text-align','center'); });Let me know if I misunderstood your question or if you need further assistance.
