Common WordPress Installation Issues

Missing style sheet error when installing the theme

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to move the comments below the post and get rid of the comments tab.

For this to happen, we need to do some changes to two files. Locate them and open them with a text / code editor of your choice: single.php and template_parts/single-wide.php.

First, go into single.php and find on line 9-13 this code:
$tabs = array_merge($tabs, array(
    'comments' => _x('Comments', $bSettings->getPrefix()),
    'similarposts' => _x('Similar Posts', $bSettings->getPrefix()),
 ));

You might see where this is going. Delete line 10 to get this result:

$tabs = array_merge($tabs, array(
    'similarposts' => _x('Similar Posts', $bSettings->getPrefix()),
 ));

That helped us get rid of the comments tab. Now we need to add the comments functionality below the post section.

Open single-wide.php

Find lines 41-44:

    <div class="content_nowidth">
        <?php the_content() ?>   <!-- / 50 words --> <br />

    </div>

Now, add some code, so it will look like:

    <div class="content_nowidth">
        <?php the_content() ?>   <!-- / 50 words --> <br />

        <?php include 'single-comments.php'; ?>
    </div>

Thats all you need. But you might want to add some heading to introduce your comments – or the break will be pretty harsh.

    <div class="content_nowidth">
        <?php the_content() ?>   <!-- / 50 words --> <br />

        <h2><?php _e('Comments', $bSettings->getPrefix()) ?></h2>
        <?php include 'single-comments.php'; ?>
    </div>

That should be all. If you have further questions, feel free to ask us through our profile page or the comments page on themeforest – or in our support forums.
