Hi Dannci,

I’ve just installed Blogist on a base Wordpress install and I see a strange difference between Firefox and Chrome display. I’ve tested it on two different computers running on different OSes and the results are consistents: Firefox display a huge broken image placeholder and Chrome doesn’t. Ok well I figured out that this happens when there are no featured images defined, and I don’t think the theme is supposed to work well without any media above the post right?

Hello,

you can use theme without featured images, but it is necessary to set “replacement” image in admin panel, or disable “absolute position” for logo image (in admin too)

Hi, Dancci! Love your theme. Just have a few questions that need immediate answers:

1. What is this for: “Post formats options”? I see video, etc… Are these other options aside from the image before the title of each post? I am asking this because the photos attached to your index file no longer works.

2. What is this for: “Main Rating & Rating Category”, “Partial rating”? Can you show me a link that uses these features so I understand how these are used? Also, can you tell me how to remove it if ever I feel like I don’t need it?

3. Your instructions say… “Upload featured image replacement.” What is a featured image for and where do I use this? I know what a featured image is for for POSTS, but this was under your theme options.

4. On my pages, I don’t want my logo to show. How do I delete this?

5. How do I “justify” the texts on the blog author widget for sidebar?

6. On every post, it says… “about the author”. How do I change it to “About the author”. Sorry, I have OCD and the single small letter irritates me.

7. I know this has been answered before but got confused with the instructions. How do I change the system for the popular blogs tab, so it shows the posts with the most number of views instead of comments?
