Hey rappel, if you go to settings->discussion inside your wp admin panel options you can choose what default image to show for comments. Let me know if that worked for ya

Would be good if you can also develop a 960width theme with grids (1 or 2 columns) with sidebars for home and category page, images all fixed width but vary in height by ratio. Would have bought it if yours are like this.

Currently the only posts that stay put are the custom posts. What were you thinking of if you don’t mind me asking? Did you want an option to make any post a sticky post kinda thing? Or a sorting option? Let me know, I am doing requests currently since the theme hasn’t brought up any errors really. I can add this request to the sidebar homepage style I’m working on

As for the post, I see that by doing “custom” it will keep a post near the top. Also learned about “sticky posts” settings. The main thing is that I want to have a few post of items that will be for sale stay at the top.
Another thing, looks like only Vimeo vids with the theme as the YouTube does not work with the post thumb size. Is that correct? Is there a way to get YouTube vids to work? I get a “Video Player is Too Small” error. Any suggestions?
Well you can achieve the special sale items by using custom posts as you said you learned about. What I would do is use the featured image and just create a page for your sale items, and link to them with the custom url option for each sticky post. ( Easiest way to do it currently ). I’ll try and play around with some ideas on other posts and options to show them first before the next update if possible though. Would be nice to have some other options aside of just a custom post for people that are using it for this same reason.
I’m also taking a look at the youtube videos giving you that error. What size embed code are you choosing if you don’t mind me asking?
Nice theme, can i set a homepage with sidebar like a categoy page for example?

hello, i read: “We created an extensive options panel that allows you to choose from over 45+ custom patterns and choose unlimited background colors as well as theme colors/accents and layout options.” i select “bullseyes” and it not runs, just one pic centre top, gg! see here http://www.clementine.web-creation.org/ This option is not in “Startup options” but in “custom styling” as explain in the support document.

Vimeo, youtube, Blip.tv, Viddler, Kickstarter, and self hosted are fine. As for the slider/plus/heart/like on posts I have not added that in this theme but if enough people request it I may possibly be up for adding it in. The slider currently is a custom post type and you simply choose what you want to display

I have a question. If I put a featured image that is in portrait mode, and then I click on the post, why is the portrait image cropped to height? Is there a way to change that? Here is an example:

Hey Jonny, yes the images are a set height and when uploading them and using the featured image with wordpress. I am however adding in an option over the weekend to choose set heights/auto cropping or display your own heights.
Since you are the second person to ask, I’m sure others would like that as well.
If you would rather do it now and are in a hurry/can’t wait until the update then I can walk you through the 3 files and changes that need to be made to achieve this on your theme. Just let me know

No worries. Just one thing I don’t know if you can fix it, but when you are working in a sub menu of the theme options, if you click save it kicks you out of that spot and throws you to the top level (Startup Options). Just an FYI. Love the theme by the way.

So sorry about the hassle! Just been having a lot of missing tickets apparently and touching up that part of the site has been hassle to say the least.

1.) if you open up “style.css” and do a find for ”.top-stay” you will find that class has an attribute for height. You can adjust it there to your liking and re-upload the theme.
2.) I’ve had no complaints with the custom patterns or upload your own pattern feature nor can I replicate the error for them to not show with any combination I play around with unfortunately =/. What I would suggest: Make sure you have them uploaded in the right location if you did not upload the install-blogphix.zip through Wordpress. Also possibly going to settings->permalinks and clicking update may help out. Very weird that is acting up for you but I’ll help u figure it out no worries.
Also if you want, I can take a look by logging in for you to make things easier on your end

Hey Karmantse, currently there isn’t an option to just add or remove those, but that is something I can give you a cut and paste code/edit and you can slap it in there if you really want it.
Sorry, one more question: Can a picture/slider stretch the full width of the page so that the latest post/featured post takes center-stage on Homepage? Thanks again!

That is a very good idea. Thanks for bringing that up. Currently it’s a set with and height so that the masonry layout looks like it’s suppose to but just like your last question, it’s very simple to change it and cater the slideshow to your needs with 1-2 edits tops. I wouldn’t mind at all doing it for you and sending you the files to replace since it’s so simple. Just let me know

In the file functions.php inserted code by which the subject appear allowed to enter the site developer of this theme!! I think this is not right! If the theme is to buy what the author did not have the right to insert the code by which the functions appear on the site links to outsiders!!!
Hi ingrade, I’m a little confused to say the least..If you are referring to code that I have inserted in the functions.php that has a link to an outside source…that is a snippet to show thumbnails on post previews (in the columns) and I thought it would be nice to leave the authors link in there
