The heavy things on this template is the background, so you can removed the background to make it load more faster

I create it using text editor, I never check it with dreamweaver, but i think you can edit it with the latest Dreamweaver (CS4)

ahh, this code in style.css:

    background:url(../images/back_header.png) no-repeat 100% 0;
}

The background:url(../images/back_header.png) no-repeat 100% 0; is wrong, you can remove that code. Actually there is no back_header.png

The site (template) works great, but I’m having a slight problem with the slideshow. I built the template into a CMS (Contao, fka Typolight) and now the slideshow doesn’t work in IE8 anymore. It does work in the other browsers I’ve tested (Chrome, FF and IE7 ). Is it possible for you to take a look at it? Perhaps I can email you the link to the testsite.

How is the background set up for this template? I’d like to modify it to not have the trees at the bottom, just to fade to blue there. (I haven’t bought it yet but if I can modify that part I will)

You need to modify the CSS code, you will find this code in style.css,:

body {
    background:#45bce8 url(../images/background.png) repeat-x;
    line-height: 1.6em;
    font:62.5% arial,verdana,serif;
}
#container {
    width:100%;
    background:url(../images/back_top.jpg) no-repeat 50% 0;
    padding:27px 0 0 0;
}
#backfooter {
    width:100%;
    background:url(../images/back_footer.png) repeat-x 0 100%;
}
#imgfooter {
    width:100%;
    background:url(../images/back_land.jpg) no-repeat 50% 100%;
}

Just remove the background in #imgfooter to remove the trees.
