Noahbako Purchased

I first bought the bookish theme then bought the bookstore theme only to find out that both themes don’t respond well when viewed in an Ipad and other devices.

The Crunch team tried to sort out the problems i was experiencing but to no avail. I basically had to scrap both templates for a bookstore joomla template that worked perfectly in all devices and browsers. Had to pay $50 for it!

Its really the first time i’ve bought two themes that didn’t work too well and i basically lost out of the investment because my client refused to pay for something that did not comply well when viewed in different devices and browsers.

The Crunch Team does response though, i think that’s a plus on their part but ‘am ive still lost money on this

Hello Noahbako,

I’m sorry for your bad experience. Would you please share devices and screen resolutions that you have trouble with so these can be sorted out.

Thank you.

THE CSS ISN”T DESIGN TO WORK ON TABLETS WELL AT ALL!

When changing orientation from landscape to portrait things get even WORST. I’ve brought this to the developers attention MORE THAN A MONTH AGO and no update has been provided to resolve this issue as of yet. This is EXTREMELY disappointing to discover as the theme is labeled a “RESPONSIVE” theme, and as such should seamlessly transition between views. This term “responsive” is more a hope than a reality with this theme. VERY MISLEADING. The developer has not indicated when if ever this would be resolved. And in a day and age when tablets and phones are used by more than 30% of web viewers this is UNACCEPTABLE.

The demo looks great, however it is only when you start to build your own site that you discover a number of other limitations:

The theme will perform INCREDIBLY SLOWLY when a large number of products are placed in the database. An unacceptable limitation which I will provide an answer to once learned.

Paginate by category when more than 12 products are queried by category is not an inherent feature, and is a WooCommerce limitation, not a theme issue. You will have to use a third party plug-in to resolve this such as http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-shortcodes-products-by-categories/6614541?WT.ac=portfolio_item&WT.z_author=wp-zone&_ga=1.170647328.1875670404.1406805900
