waisensays There is a problem with this design. Using IE you always can see the h2 titles in jquery kwicks, they are not hidden. It doesn’t happen with your demo version… so I think js files are different in your demo and the purchase version.

I can’t see a response to this, i am also experiencing this problem on IE.

Thanks

Parallelus

I’m checking on this now. Send me a message through my account contact form and I’ll email you updated files once I figure it out.

Parallelus your work is awesome, Im glad you didnt take this out after reading some posts.. one question, how may images can i use on the accordion slider? can it be 4 or 7? or has to be 6?

Parallelus

Thanks for the comments!

Sorry I missed your question. The accordion slider can have as many slides as you like, it will just have a less horizontal space for each as you increase the number.

I have to say that I have really enjoyed working with this template and Parallelus was lightning fast at fixing the one issue I had with it. The code is clean and the effects and layout are perfect. As far as saying that he should take this template down, I could not disagree more. There are differences between the 2 that made me choose this one. I’m a designer as well and I buy these templates to save time. This one was perfect for my needs and saved me a week of work. Parallelus, keep up the stellar work and I will be looking for your future templates for sure. Thank you for everything! You are very talented and have great customer service ethics as well.. That will go a long way for you no matter what you do!

Im impressed!

Thanks! I appreciate your comments and support.

Hi. Sorry but have a problem with this template when viewing in IE 8 . The

title in the slider is showing when the option is closed. OK when open. Seems ok in Chrome and Firefox.

The site is not finished but the URL is www.hammond-marquees.co.uk where you can see the problem on the home page. My email is paul@paul-hammond.co.uk. Many thanks Paul Hammond

Parallelus

Paul,

There is a simple fix. Add this line to the beginning of the <head></head> section for each file:

<meta content="IE=EmulateIE7" http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" />

There is also an updated CSS file for IE lightbox windows that I can email you. Contact me from my profile page using the email form and I’ll send you that.

I love your Unite theme so am looking to buy another of your themes for a different wordpress site. Are you developing this theme for Wordpress? If so, when might it be available? (Sorry about the double post. I didn’t think it posted.)

Parallelus

Thanks for the comments. I currently have no plans to convert this theme to WordPress.

Is there any chance that you will make this into a Wordpress theme?

This definitely needs to be converted to a Wordpress theme. It’s such a nice layout and design. I’m looking for a Wordpress theme right now that this would fit perfectly.

How can I convert this template for content management system. I just want to be able to have an admin area to update the template. Please let me know if is possible. I’ll by your file today. Thanks!

Parallelus

It is possible, but the instructions for such a task depend on what CMS you want to use and would be extremely involved. If you don’t understand what is necessary to convert an HTML design to work with a CMS you probably don’t have the necessary programing skills to accomplish such a task. You should probably consider hiring someone for this.

Ok thanks for the information. If I buy this template, what is the best editor to use in your opinion to update it.

Parallelus

Any HTML or text editor will work. I use Dreamweaver myself but it’s just a personal preference.

Thanks for a great theme. Made a nice site with it, but am having one very significant issue… I can not find the file that manages the global menu links. Right now I’ve had to alter each page as pages are added, deleted, renamed, etc.. and I have to believe there’s a way to do this in one place and I just can’t find it… I hope… =}

Thanks.

Parallelus

This is an HTML theme. There is no server side functionality such as “include” files like you described.

If you want to include code from a common file you will have to make your pages into PHP files (or another language of your choosing) and use an include statement to pull a menu from a single file.

Default-user

I don’t believe that is accurate. I’ve used a .js menu file with my html templates in the past. All of my other sites have a way to globally update the menu and I can’t see why it wouldn’t be possible in this case.

Was this template really designed such that it’s necessary to go in and change EVERY page of the site whenever a page is added, deleted or renamed?

If so, I have to say that that by itself makes this theme more trouble than it’s worth for a site that is actively updating its content… Our site is twenty pages and growing at the moment, to have to go into each and every page to update the menu, or footer for that matter every time there’s an update is over burdensome. =/

Parallelus

It is accurate, you can ask other authors in the forum if you don’t believe me.

This is an HTML template, it includes no functionality other than the HTML , JavaScript, CSS and images needed to create the design and layout. The intention of an HTML template is to provide the structure for individuals to use it as they desire, such as integration into a CMS , coded into PHP or ASP .net should they choose.

If you have a script that will automate the menu links across all pages you are welcome to use it. I do not include features like that in any of my HTML designs.
