Very nice! Wordpress coming soon? Better be
I’m a BIG fan of your other theme Unite.
Regarding this theme, my first impression of the half-width homepages was they were a tad busy and over crowded. That said, after seeing the full width options and checking out the other page layouts – It’s an absolutle corker of a theme!
Absolutely no holes bared, you are providing Theme Forest with the highest standard of design and functionality.
BRAVO !
Thanks for the feedback. I’m really glad I did both options for the home page. It feels like every site has a full width slide show and I wanted to do something different.
super nice template again paralellus
That’s funny, it looks like you have tried to create a template from the previous one…not to be harsh but you have completely missed the point here.
Don’t get me wrong as I have bought your Unite Template and made an art of it on a link that I will be posting soon.
This is in fact the theme I was working on which inspired me to create Unite. I always intended to come back and finish it. I agree there are similarities/things that carry over. However, I’ve recreated the entire interface to ensure it’s a unique design, not just another “skin” of Unite.
As fate would have it… While working on completing Boost I had a new idea for a design that is completely different. I will be trying to finish it in the coming weeks.
I have to add that the UNITE theme is Stunning…I have used it for my own personal project and It has been worth every single penny.
Thanks
Just the UNITE theme with another header, same body pages, resources, login pop-up, effects, ...disappointed…
Like I said before, I was working on this design when I got the inspiration for Unite. I don’t like leaving things unfinished, although I do have a folder of Photoshop files called “abandoned” where bad designs go to die! I did work very hard to make the design stand out and be different from Unite. I don’t think it’s fair to criticize for reuse of body pages structures and resources… not to name names but many other authors do this also.
Don’t fret however, while working on completing this site I had a new idea for a design that is completely different. I will be trying to finish it in the coming weeks.
Thanks.
Honestly, I think you you should remove this template, rework it for a day and re-upload. While it has similarities with Unite, it has some nice stuff going on. I’m sure just a bit of reworking will mean great things
Thanks for the tip. I honestly did try very hard to make this feel different from Unite, which wasn’t easy considering it came from the same inspiration. If you don’t mind, can you tell me specific things you feel are too similar or should be changed? I’ll happily make updates to the design as I agree with you that this has some great features that are very unique but retains a similar feel with Unite.
I realize the icons and login/modal windows are the same and agree with everyone that some of the carryovers are probably resulting in this feeling too close to Unite. I wanted SO much for that not to be the case and spent over 100 hours reworking the design already. It was different from Unite at the start of the process in many ways, for example it didn’t have the “page” background look, included a header style top and used a different slide show layout. The page content elements are the main things that were the same as Unite when I started such as the blog layout and featured content area. This design never had “ribbons”, because they were the “big idea” that led me away from this design to create Unite in the first place. That’s why it has a “page” style background… I couldn’t create the ribbons without it.
Please help me. I want yours and everyone’s suggestions for this. I probably should have asked this question in the forum before uploading the design. It didn’t even occur to me to try that. I’ve been so impressed with this community and now I need your help. Tell me what to change.
Hopefully this helps explain some of the thinking behind the design as it stands now. It was a difficult battle over what to change and not to change. For example:Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can offer. I believe this design has enormous potential and if you can assist me in getting it there I will greatly appreciate it.
I like it you should throw a cu3er into it as well. I like it man good work.
Thanks for the feedback. The cu3er is no longer free and due to the cost of licensing I can’t include it in my themes.
Granted, I feel this theme is along the same lines as Unite in its aesthetic quality, but only in the design style of the author. The style was extremely origional in Unite and the designer’s feel has transfered over into Boost also. If it aint broke – don’t fix it. I used Unite previously with great confidence and will use Boost in the same manner. My God – the amount of same sh*t, differnt day themes here is off the charts. This author quite obviously spent a great deal of time on both and I for one congratulate him/her for it.
The personal design style of Parallelus is very evident here. ...NO BAD THING ! I would say leave it as is – absolutely no reworking required whatsoever.
Even if it is close in style to Unite, it’s head and shoulder above 80% of the themes posted here already.
Thank you for the kind remarks, and it’s “him” by the way

+8 moreI like how the slider nav pops up. Nice job!
Sticker hit the nail on the head!
Here’s the deal, this theme is completely different. The login feature is a standard that I am looking for from every Parallelus theme!!! The look and feel of this is a signature style… so all you haters can simply be quite and dont buy it.
I think the real problem here is that people are lazy and want to buy a theme for $35 bucks…. which is DIRT CHEAP and then expect FREE support!!! What a joke!!! I would pay $100 for this theme and another $100 for support, and it would still be a deal. So… people are lazy and don’t want to take the time to switch out some icons and subtle graphics for their own. If you want something to be that different from something else, hire a designer!!! You are buying a template, which means the most important aspect is to customize it and make it your own. All that matters is that the functionality is there are working beautifully!
Quit hating and hire a designer, otherwise support and give a few pointers gently. People are so short and rude and ungrateful and are always cheap busters.
Buy and be grateful, or simply move on.
I would change nothing. I love the new full width sliders too.
Are you planning a WP version?
Great job again!
Great work once again. It’s an unusual, yet unique approach that looks great!
Got to quote my friend above:
Great work, will keep an eye on it if another project comes out.
Wow, this is absolutely beautiful! Count me as one of the folks hoping for a WP version.
~A devoted fan of “Unite”
I second the motion for a WP version… are you thinking of doing one up?
If so, I’m all over it.
Let me know and I’ll hold off on something I’m doing.
Thanks!
I have not decided on the WordPress version yet. Right now I’m working on a new design I want to complete first. Once I finish that I’ll revisit making a WordPress version of Boost.
Do you thinking about a Wordpress Theme?
What’s the timeline?
I have not decided on the WordPress version yet. Once I finish the new design I’m working on I’ll revisit making a WordPress version of Boost.
I am in love with both Boost & Unite, with that said I am trying to hold off on buying Boost to see if there will be a WordPress version…is it coming soon?

i have buy your template: http://themeforest.net/item/boost-html-corporate-and-magazine-site/96724
unfortunately I’m forced to consider that your service is not reliable because the template I bought does not match what you can see the demo at your portal. How can I get the correct version of this template? I recover my investment with a refund? please, answer me soon. tanks
Hi, I was out of town for the weekend for a family event and did not have internet access. My flight just landed 30 minutes ago and I’m working my way through all the emails and posts now.
You should have 6 home page files, each starts with the name “index”. Currently the demo is showing “index-alternate-3.html” as the main page. If you open each of these you will see I’ve included an example of each layout and slide show in the download files. The documentation explains what makes these files different, such as using the class “alternate” in the body tag to achieve the alternative layout. I’ve included ALL files in the download that are visible in the demo. The only difference is that some features are removed from the demo, so you should have a few extra items in the download version, mainly on the home page.
I’m holding out for a wordpress version also. Please let us know if/when this is coming.
I have not settled on the WordPress version yet. I’ll probably decide after I finish the new design I’m working on now.
Any demo screens of the new design for feedback? Thanks.
You can use the live demo of this theme to preview it.
