I am using the price box short code on my main page.. and everything looks great otherwise, but the numbers for the actual price (4.99) in the price box do not scale down.. causing an ugly overlap when viewing the page on my smartphone.
What is the fix for this?

Hi there, with this theme, where you’ve got the button that says “Buy this theme” – I assume that can be changed? I’d like to be able to have that as register. I’d also like the functionality of the button being removed or changing when a member logs in.
Are these things possible?
Yes both things are possible. The button is a shortcode allowing you to change the text and you can hide this button when a user logs in.
Hey, thanks for replying. I decided to give it a go. 2 things:
On my site the activity feed looks sorta broken styling wise.
The second thing is, is there anywhere you’ve put how to do the alternative homepage examples?
Edit: The activity feed goes good when using a full width template.
The alternative homepages can be imported from the demo file or the shortcodes are providing on the demo site on each of the homepages (for more info see the help file).

SO… I LOVE this theme and the functionality it looks like it offers but it is just tooo dark for my purposes. Am I able to lighten it up bit after I purchase it?
Yes you can lighten up the theme a bit with some simple CSS changes, which I can help you with via my support forums.
Hi Ghostpool, Just downloaded and installed the Bounce theme. Looks great and excited about the buddypress capability.
I need to have the front page of wordpress display blog posts as per core wordpress “reading” settings, but I’m receiving an error when I do this.
What is happening? How do I get it to display blog posts like I have been?
Thanks in advance,
Hi, Would it be possible to use the theme with a child-theme? I would need to alter the styling a bit to make it look like an existing site.
Yes Bounce will work with a child theme so you can customize the styling.
I love your theme and wanted to thank you for your great support as well. You’ve answered a lot of my questions in the forum really well.
Just thinking that you might want to see how I’ve used your theme.
My site is http://letjesushelpyou.com
I love what you’ve done with the theme great job.
Can you use tags for posts by members within groups and make them searchable?
If I set up a “for Sale” group and someone posts a used bicycle. Can they tag it with Schwinn, Size 16”, Mountain bike? And then can others that are in the group search for Schwinn Mountain bike?
This question relates to the BuddyPress plugin. While the theme is designed to work with BuddyPress I did not create this plugin so my answer may not be correct. I do not believe this is possible. For a better answer I suggest posting your question at http://buddypress.org/support
I purchased this theme for use with a BP installation. One of the things that’s confusing me, is the search. It’s basically taken away all functionality as far as I can tell.
There is no option to choose where to search. It’s not relative to the section you’re in or anything. Am I missing something or is this supposed to be how it functions?
Fully integrated BuddyPress search will be added to the support very shortly. In the mean time other uses have done this themselves and discussed it on the support forums: http://www.ghostpool.com/topic/global-site-search-bounce-template/
Great theme. Just wondering if its possible to turn off the theme from being resposive?
I love this theme, great work. I have noticed that other themes boast that their theme is easily child themeable. Aren’t all themes easily child themed?
Anyway my first question is, is this theme, Bounce: Responsive Business WP & BuddyPress Theme, easily child themable?
And second, are there plans to continually update this theme and keep up with future releases of WordPress/BuddyPress/bbPress updates?
Thanks in advance…
It’s possible theme’s have been coded in such a way that they do not work with child themes. Bounce does work with child themes.
Yes the theme will continue to be updated, especially to work with future WordPress/BuddyPress/bbPress updates.
Will you be adding the capability to have more than one custom menu, it’s a little inhibiting..?
Where would you like to see another menu? I can’t imagine adding another without changing the overall look of the theme which is not something I want to do.
I want to be able to have control over the menu for [logged out] users and [logged in] users . The menu would be in the same location look the same, but have different tabs for logged in/out users….is that possible already?
It’s not a theme option but it is possible through some minor file modifications. This question has already been asked and answered on the support where I offer all theme support.
Awesome work! I’m ready to buy but for the gravatar-only avatars. My site will be one where people are likely to want an avatar that is unique to the site and specifically NOT the same as their gravatar. Is avatar upload in your roadmap?
There’s plenty of plugins that offer such a feature so it’s not necessary to include it into the theme by default. Take a look here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=avatar+upload
I thought I’d add that this is a great theme. I have been developing a really cool community website similar to a meetup.com type of event page with it. Even with 3 or 4 large plugin integrations it is still working like a champ.
Constant updates and easy to read documentations. Good job GhostPool!
Couple of quick questions…
The name of this theme is, Bounce: Responsive Business WP & BuddyPress Theme. Can you please tell me why “Business WordPress” theme?
I’d like to use this theme for a magazine my company publishes; do you think this can easily be used for a magazine website? Is there functionality in the theme that makes it better for a business rather than a magazine? Would I be better off with a theme that specifically states it is for a magazine website?
I love this theme by the way. Thanks in advance for your help!
1) The theme has a professional look to it that many business websites may want to use. However the theme can be used for any type of website including a magazine website.
2) It really depends on what you require. A magazine website is a very broad request and could mean anything. If you like the look of the theme I would say go for it unless you require something in another that Bounce doesn’t offer.
In your next update can you include a “light grey” theme skin?
There are no plans to add such a feature currently, but if it becomes highly requested this is something I will add. Generally you’re better off hiring a developer to integrate your own specific requests though.
Hey Ghost Pool can you tell me where to fix the Mobile Portrait right margin in the css? Try loading up the theme on an iPhone. There is a few pixels of white on the right side that causes the screen to occasionally bobble left and right when trying to scroll down. This can especially be seen on the Buddypress Activity page and any Buddypress Member profile page.

Thinking of buying your beautiful theme. Is there any possibility to make a multi-language site ? default french and possibility to have it in italian with the little flag to change the language ?
This is certainly possible, but you will need to use an external plugin as WPML or qTranslate.
I use qTranslate for an other website. If you said certainly, it’s mean that you don’t know if there is bad issue with other plugin like buddy or Other you use on your theme ?
Thanks for this answer
I have not tested qTranslate, but I haved tested WPML which I know works with the theme.
Thanks ! You win I’ll buy it
I wanted to verify that I should use this version of the theme even though I only want to integrate BBPress – not BuddyPress. My client wants a ‘standard’ business site with a forum. Will the other version of the theme support that ok, or do I need this version? Also, will this version work as a business website without BuddyPress installed? In other words, without BuddyPress does this version work and look just like the other version? Thanks for your help.
You can probably get away with the standard version of the theme for just bbPress, although the forums will be the default bbPress styling and not the styling you see in the BuddyPress version.
Both versions are exactly the same except the BuddyPress version has extra features so the BuddyPress plugin integrates completely with the theme. So yes, the standard version will work just fine as a business site.
