Nice Design!
Thanks a lot.
Absolutely gorgeous Ghostpool! Nice Job -
A quick pre-purchase question.
Are the shortcodes available in the tiny mce editor, or does the user need to add them by cutting and pasting them into the WP content box from the documentation?
Thanks this is really a great theme!
Thanks!
Hi there,
Yes all shortcodes are available from the TinyMCE editor.
great work, i need to find a client for this!
Good hear to hear Stan Thanks.
Nice, very well done!! Gonna use this one for sure soon
Brilliant. Really glad to hear it.
By the way, FINALLY a theme that does not focus on portfolios but on posts and the flexibility for those. It’s rare.
Are there plans to add a portfolio page?
Hi there,
This can already be done using the `[posts]` shortcode. I’m working on a few more example pages to show off features such as this. Take a look at what I have so far: http://ghostpool.com/wordpress/bounce/galleriesportfolios/
Looks nice. That slider really reminds me of TutsPlus
That was the idea, the top panel was based on the TutsPlus homepage top panel, however the slide and content can be placed anywhere as it’s all generated using shortcodes.
Love this! Going to purchase now!!
Excellent. Glad to hear it.
Hi, firstly… what a great theme. Well done.
Secondly, when this site is viewed on a samsung galaxy s2 the theme needs to be minimized before it is fully responsive. By this I mean that it is too large for the screen until you touch the screen upon which it minimizes but then the text is a little too small.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Regards.
Hi there,
Unfortunately I do not own a Samsung Galaxy (Android phone) in order to test this, however I will look into installing an Android simulator in order to fix any issues in the display on this system.
I believe I have fixed the display issues on Android phones now (Samsung Galaxy S2). Please let me know if you still see issues?
An impressive looking theme. Nice job!
Questions:
1) Can the “Post Settings” be used with user defined custom post types?
2) What kind of grid system is in use?
3) Are the 7 styles / raised paneling done with CSS or graphics?
Hi there,
1) Yes, but you will need to modify the code slightly in order to add the Post Settings to custom post type pages – I can show you how to do this on the support forum if you decide to purchase the theme.
2) Bounce does not use any pre-existing grid system, the grid widths/alignments were coded from scratch.
3) A combination of both, although predominately CSS3 gradients (with IE support) making for easy customisations.
@jasonsinclair -
I’m also noticing that while using the Stock Android Browser on the Samsung Galaxy S2 running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that there is a “responsive” issue. A manual “pinch” gesture is required to correct the problem. Hopefully, the author just needs to merely tweak the media queries a bit for this theme. Hard to do if you don’t own an Android device so I’d be willing to help test it if necessary.
@electronicpakrat: If you email me via my ThemeForest contact form at http://themeforest.net/user/GhostPool#from (you need to be logged in to see it) I’d love to talk to your over IM so I can make a few adjustments to the theme to fix this issue with Android quickly.
Very nice! i’ll keep it in mind in the future for my clients as well.
Thanks Ben.
I purchased a theme a couple of days ago for a new project I’m working on, then along comes Bounce. I hope you feel honoured that I’m now replacing that theme with this one.
Well done and thanks for your excellent work. I’m just about to purchase.
Excellent news, I certainly do feel honoured.
Love the design!
Two questions:
1) While the 7 skins are nice, I need to change the background, etc., to specific colors to match a brand. Can I do that through CSS ?
2) I really like Example Homepage 4. Is it pretty straightforward to recreate that? And the call-to box below the slider, can I add a button?
Thanks!
Hi there,
1) Yes, all the panels that you see that vary in colour from skin to skin can be edited via CSS – the only exception is the circle background image at the top of the page, which is an image.
2) Yes, this page comes with the demo content which you can import into your installation. If you don’t want to do that just copy the code provided at the bottom of the page: http://ghostpool.com/wordpress/bounce/pages/example-homepage-4/
Thank you for your response!
Your demo is down
Hi there,
The demo should now be working again – let me know if you still have trouble accessing it.
Hello Dan,
Your demo is down as I’m sure you’re already aware of or will be soon enough. Looks to be one of your best additions so far in my opinion. I’ve not had a chance to look over the demo unfortunately but as always a worthwhile purchase to support your work. Glad to see a new addition!
Best of luck in your sales!

Hi there,
The demo should be working now, let me know if it still isn’t working for you.
Stunning theme.. can the titles be reverted to using normal font rather than a shadow on the font? The slider has lovely youtube cover image for the start frame. Is this standard on youtube? Or is this something you have to do on the backend?
Hi there,
1) Yes a small CSS change can remove the shadows from titles.
2) This is something I have implemented, you can choose to add an image for the YouTube video or have a image from the video itself display.
Amazing theme!
Any plans for a commerce capabilities? Jigoshop or woo commerce?
Hi there,
If the theme sells really well this is certainly something I’d be interested in doing.
Cool design!
Thanks a lot.
@GhostPool: I’ve already got a fair amount of experience integrating WooCommerce into to existing themes. I’m using the 1.5.x branch at present (been learning it since it’s release last year) and recommend it over anything else (and I’ve tried a lot). I can help you get going if you need some assistance too.
I’ll certainly bear that in mind, I appreciate all the help you’ve provided so far with the Android testing.
Hi there,
Is it possible to have a full-width featured image / slider with a layout that has right sidebar?
Thanks!
Hi there,
This is definitely possible. The theme allows you to add content (full slider/image) to a text editor area called Top Content which goes above the main content and sidebar columns.
