I have a problem, the example for the tabs working says i just need to add rel=”idname” and it will work, however, i do this and create a div id=”idname” and when i try it, it just simply doesnt change.

and it has all three dispalyed below each other, any ideas?

thanks.

(Note. it is as though im just doing a div below a div constantly, and i want it to hide 2 while the first is showing)

Also, how do i get the class=”current” to change depending on which tab im looking at,

is this all js?

Okay, new problem. I have done something that i had thought impossible up until now, i have created a site that works in IE, but not in FireFox.

Try it out:

http://gapto.co.uk/admin/

user: admin pass: admin

seriously, try it. it fails.

ps. (i need help sorting this out)

You have to remove the fragment of code in between the lines 79 and 88. That code is applied to each box on the page so that it hides all the boxes except the clicked one. Use IDs like on the lines 69 and 90 – that’s safe.

Hi there.

I purchased this template.

I opened PSD files but all of these were with blue blackground. (purple..red..all colors have a blue blackground)

(I opened these files with gimp)

Something wrong?

gwaihir

Hello Lorenzo, thanks a lot for puchasing Boxie!

I’ve checked out PSDs in Photoshop and they’re allright. So I’m really sorry, but it’s some error in your Gimp.

Cheers, Gwaihir.

gwaihir,

Is there any way to create a multi-level menu(without messing the beautiful design :))? I really want this template for my site, but the multi-level menu is a must-have. Thanks in advance

gwaihir

Hi Plentz, I’m sorry, Boxie admin doesn’t include multilevel menu support. If you want multilevel menu, you have to make it on your own.

What is the solution i have the same problem now ;-)

gwaihir

The JS code according to this behavior is on the line 68-54.

There you have one parent div#box1 and within it is .header and two .content divs. They have their IDs you need to link with links’ rel attribute in the .header section.

Class=”active” for active link is automatically driven by JS. You just need to keep that structure (both JS and HTML just in the same terms as in the example) I mentioned above.

Hi

1 – Can I use the template for a web application like a 100% height user interface. like the link below?

http://www.ardentinteractive.co.nz/assets/image-gallery/salesworks/_resampled/SetWidth800-salesworksui.jpg

2 – What did you use for the rounded corners of the box?

Thanks a million

gwaihir

Hello,

1) Nope, Boxie is designed for the fluid height. (Well, maybe yes, but with a lot of modifications.) 2) CSS3 border-radius

Thanks for your interest!

Hello,

How do I change the header logo, I wanna put a bigger one instead the small one that is included by default, the new size should be around 400×80.

Thanks!

gwaihir

Hello dklima,

you’ll need to open the CSS file and edit the line number 77: #header #logo – edit the dimensions to your 400×80. Then save your logo as css/img/logo.png That was the logo for the administration section.

Now the login window: Save your 400×80 logo again as css/img/logo-login.png Then open the CSS file and edit the line number 360: #login .header – change the padding-bottom to something around 35px.

That’s all. Cheers.

Hello gwaihir

I bought your template, and I find that this one is perfect. I built several pages with it without a problem. But there is one thing I can’t find how to do, because I am very not a CSS expert :-) I need to build a form with so many fields, and I want to put them on 2 columns. Can you explain me how to do this with the fieldset layout.

Thanks

Hello gwaihir

Forget my last post. I found the way :-) I was stupidly focusing to modify or adapt your css instead to simply embed the code in my own div

gwaihir

Gratz pygmalion, clever solution :). Have fun with Boxie Admin!

Dose this work with Wordpress as well or ?

gwaihir

This is just a plain HTML /CSS/jQuery template. So if you want to use it with Wordpress, you have to implement it into WP on your own.

Hi, can you tell me if your tables have auto-pagination? I didn’t see anything in your comments/code that suggested it did.

Thanks.

Nav Menu in IE9 …

I am not sure if this has been discussed or not. Was testing it website with IE9 recently, and the dropdown nav menu is not working right. You see, when you hover on it, it drops nicely, but when you start to hover on any of the options, the menu expands to full width of the inner-container, which is 960px I supposed.

Any fix for this?

gwaihir

Hello,

thanks for letting me know, I haven’t noticed that. I’ll look at it asap and fix it.

gwaihir

Hello, I have a fix for you. Go to the CSS file and remove “width: 100%;” from the line 127.

Can this template be applied to any CMS software?

Thanks

Mitch

gwaihir

Sure, but you need to integrate it with a CMS on your own as it is just pure HTML /CSS template.

Thanks for the interest!

Is it include chart code?

gwaihir

It doesn’t. But if you have decent knowledge of HTML and JS, you’ll be able to implement an existing solution. Eg. https://developers.google.com/chart/

Gwaihir,

I apologize in advance if this sounds like the world’s stupidest question about a Themeforest template! :) But, I usually purchase HTML /CSS templates on Themeforest from the ‘Site Templates’ category. I know how to code… HTML , CSS, stuff like that; but I do not know PHP or MySQL or anything like that.

So my question is is with this template, do I need to add in whatever programming is necessary to allow people to login and have passwords etc? or is that included with the template so that all I need to do is define the users and what their passwords are?

I have a new client who needs to have a section on their site or have a separate site that allows for password protection and username/password stuff, but I’ve never done this before.

I’m curious because I noticed some Admin templates mention “PHP Login/Password integration” in the preview image or item details. Please shed a little light on this for me so I know whether or not I have the right skills to be able to make an Admin template work, thanks!

gwaihir

Hello, Boxie is pure HTML /CSS/JS template so it doesn’t include any server-side (PHP, MySQL) parts. You’d have to develop it on your own. Thanks for the interest!
