I can’t seem to change the text shadow in the main menu. Right now it’s white on white and doesn’t look good. I’m using the skin.css fron the nature folder. I thought this would change it: .nav ul li a { background-color: #09F; color: #fff; text-shadow: -1px -1px 0px #999; But I can change the #999 or even get rid of that whole line and it still shows white on white. Hi, the inset shadow in the top menu is controlled in JavaScript because Cufon doesn’t read the shadow values from CSS3 . Assuming you are using the Nature skin, edit the file header.php and look for the following code:

// If using the NATURE skin...
if( $skin_left == 'nature' ) : ?>
Cufon.replace('.menu .nav > li > a', { textShadow: '-1px -1px rgba(12, 147, 47, 1)', fontFamily: 'Cufon', hover: true });

Change the rgba(...) values to what you want.

I’m not finding a file “header.php”. Is that for the wordpress version? I’m using the html version. I guess I could just not use the shadow. How would I turn that off?

Hi, sorry I thought you were talking about the WP version of the theme. Since you are using the HTML version, in every file you’ll see the following code:

//Cufon.replace('.menu .nav > li > a', { textShadow: '-1px -1px rgba(51, 51, 51, 1)', hover: true });

/* If using the NATURE skin uncomment the following line and comment all others: */
//Cufon.replace('.menu .nav > li > a', { textShadow: '-1px -1px rgba(12, 147, 47, 1)', hover: true });    /************************************************************************************/

Pay attention to the last line, make the appropriate changes to the rgba shadow color value and comment the first 2 Cufon calls for the other skins.

I have a problem with cufon font in IE 9 in breeze theme, it appears that cufon isn’t displayed at all, there are only empty boxes for tabs and for main menu labels.

Is it possible that it will be corrected?

Im having the same problem as derdzi. Cufon font in IE 9 in breeze theme is not working, however it dose work if you allow IE 9 to disable scripts and active X controls but if you do that you cant see the slider-container. Is there any know solution for this

Hey Mark, what version of the theme are you using? I recommend updating to the latest version because the latest Cufon that addresses the IE9 issues is updated.

I am having a new IE9 related problem… When combining a bar-info-box and slider-container on the same page the bar-info-box will not display any text. Chrome/firefox work sweet. Do you know of any solution?

First I’d like to say I love this template and how clean the code is. I’m relatively new to all of this and had quick question… How would I center the navigation bar? Right now it goes to the right and I’d like to have it centered so that it is directly on top of the slider. Do I need to update something in the stylesheet? If you could help me, I’d really appreciate it.

Hi, centering automatically based on the menu width is a bit hard considering how it is coded. What you can do though is to add the following code to the Custom CSS field in the Breeze admin panel:

#header .menu { right: 100px; }

The above code will bring the menu a bit to the left, change the 100px value until you have the menu centered.

Hi, the search is just a placeholder for integrating this template with a CMS for example. This happens because this template is an HTML template (not WordPress for example). The same happens with the contact page and you can notice it is a PHP because simple HTML can’t send emails, it needs a server side language to send emails.

Not one template in the HTML category support search as far as I know.

I just downloaded this theme and I can’t seem to upload images larger than 120kb. It’s really limiting the quality of my images. I did not have this problem with a previous theme. I will get an error: “http error” and will freeze crunching at 100%.

I realized that it was limiting my upload size because some images would actually get through while others would not..

Please help with this issue.

Hi, I believe the problem is caused by not properly closing an H2 tag in the sub-header title. You have this code in your page but it isn’t closing the H2 tag.

A month ago I asked if I could turn the Menu into floating text and to get rid of the boxes…

I have inserted the codes the Custom CSS field in the Breeze admin panel and I have edited the file header.php and replace the code below. But I still have the Box, can you help.

“Hi Cheryl, add the following code to the Custom CSS field in the Breeze admin panel:

#header .menu, .nav > li > a, .nav > li > a:focus { background-image: none!important; }

Also, edit the file header.php and replace this code with this code.”
