hi,
First of all, really love this theme, it’s elegant piece of work !
I have a little problem while testing the theme:
when I recreate the right sidebar page with styled tabbed area, the tab Navigation is not working, did I miss something?
http://www.airdrop.tw/?page_id=44Thanks a lot.
Hi – it looks like maybe you were under the “visual” tab when you created this – this particular plugin requires that you create the tabbed area under the html tab. It looks like when you created it and added a space after the word “Feature” html kicked in and made your href this #Feature%201 – which appears to be breaking the navigation. Please follow your documentation and try switching to the html tab on this page and stripping out the 20 as this is an html entity that represents a space. See if that helps – if not – try deleting the page and starting again but make sure you are in the html tab when you create the page x%x content.
Many thanks
Jonathan
hi johathan,
its a great theme! i have one question, if i add a post i allways have some things i dont need like: posted on ; category; comments and so far, is there a way to hide this?
thanks jerry
Yes, there is. Depending on where you want to “cut out” those certain post details (portfolio or posts) is depending on where you would strip that out. This details (as you know) appear on the home page (template-home.php or template-homenoslide.php) and the blog page (index.php) and the actual post page (single.php) – look for the div class=”post_details” on any of those templates and that’s where the category, posted by etc start to appear.
Hope that helps
Many thanks

Hi jonathan01,
first of all congrats on the theme i really liked it.
i want to ask you a question, how can i make for when i enter the portfolio area just to show one “Type” by default?
say i have 2 types “images” and “design” and when i go to the portfolio page i just want for it to show the portfolios taged in design. and remove the text that says “filter:all images design”
could you help?
i’ve been playing with the template-portfolio.php but don’t seem to get it right.
thanks
Hi – thank you for your purchase and the kind comments. To achieve what your wanting your best bet would be to edit the template-portfolio.php file – where it says ul id=”filter” – remove that whole section and then replace it with a loop that brings in just the “design”. There are many tutorials out there to give you the loop you need and I believe I actually responded to a forum post not too long ago giving the loop itself – I apologize for not giving it here. Ur I am on my iPhone and it’s a little difficult. However if you can’t find it on the web or on the previous forum post feel free to contact me via my profile page and when I’m at my desk later I can look it up for you and send it over.
Thanks
Jonathan
for anyone wanting to accomplish this you need to change this:
$query->query(‘post_type=portfolio&posts_per_page=-1’);
to this:
$query->query(‘post_type=portfolio&posts_per_page=-1&types=typeyouwant’);
Sorry for the beginner’s question but every time I go to a video that shows how to upload theme to wordpress it says to choose the .zip file. When the theme downloads it downloads a .zip but already unzips it. So when I open the folder I see photoshop files.zip, license.zip, documentation.pdf, and Buran_WP_Files folder and then all the subfolders. Which file do I upload? Thanks.
Hi and thank you for your purchase!
If you follow your documentation it will give you instructions on what to upload. If you open the WP_Files and then theme files and for upload you will be uploading only the bruan file. Just to confirm this is for Wordpress.org not the .com ?
Hello,
We´re a bit disappointed with this template…
Poor performance with contact form 7 plugin. If we try to add custom fields, the template doesn´t work properly. All the custom fields appears one over the others and don´t let the users see where must they fill the information.
I apologize for any inconvenience – we set up the live preview to match out style that we want. We can. It control the plugin as there are hundreds of plugins and hundreds of different settings within the plugins. If you could possibly post a link to your site and. Intact me via my profile page I would be happy to have someone look into this for you.
Thanks
Jonathan
Hi jonathan,
i’ve been looking and moving everything and can’t seem to find the correct move. I’m trying to have the 5 images of the home_wrapper on the homepage to be of a certain type and not the recent posts. i know i should modify in here for the fist one at least, but what should i remove or add just to make my 5 portfolio images from a certain ‘type’ to show?: <!
- Start of portfolio1 -> <?php $featuredport = new WP_Query(‘showposts=1&post_type=portfolio’); while ($featuredport->have_posts()) : $featuredport->the_post(); ?> <?php $homeurl1 = get_post_meta($post->ID, ‘content1’, true); ?> <?php the_post_thumbnail(‘thumbnail’); ?> <?php endwhile; ?> <?php wp_reset_query(); ?> <!- End of portfolio1 ->thankyou
Hi – could you please use the contact form via my profile – the comments are really meant for just comments and not support (as per the documentation).
Thanks
Hi, Great theme, thank you. I am working on the site but I have two issues and I hope you could help me: - The portfolio items seem to fall under the single-post template rather than single-portfolio - I don’t know how to have the 3 portfolio items on the homepage (like you live site template). What am I doing wrong? My site is here http://quintaessenza-snc.com/meocolombo/
Many thanks in advance for your help G
Hi – please contact me via my profile page with your WP login information.
Thanks
Hi Jonathan,
I have been trying to changing the speed of the slider on the homepage. I tried to change the the “jquery.nivo.slider.js” on Default Settings. I’ve changed the “pauseTime” then I uploaded the file but none change happened.
The website is: www.savassifestival.com.br/2012
Could you tell if I did any mistake in this process?
Thank you?
The default settings at the very bottom of the nivo js file you mentioned is where you should alter the timings you wish to change, timings are in milliseconds so you have to ensure you are entering thousands as a number – hope that helps and many thanks for the purchase.
I looked at your website and peeked at the query nivo slider file and the default 3000 for pause is still there…
For further assistance please use the contact form on my profile page as per your documentation – we supply a link in the intro paragraph and also in the footer of every page – many thanks!

Olá Jonathan,
I’ve benn trying change the slider’s speed as you recommended, altought I haven’t any sucess.
I uploaded the “jquery.nivo.slider.js” file with all changes done exactly like you said.
I thought that I may have uploaded to the wrong destination. Where, exactly, must I uploaded the filme changed?
Thank you,
Vinícius
Hi – in the wordpress theme folder we have a JS folder – in there is your JS file you wish to replace – I recommend making a backup of the original file first however
Hope that helps.
Jonathan
Hi Jonanthan, many thanks for you support. I’ve lerant how do it. Now, I’m trying do the last thing to start to fill the website with the content and then publish it.
I would like to know how I can use the “Portfolio”, on the homepage, as windows. What I’m trying to do is: I want that when a user click on some of the portfolio items the content opens. I do not want that the image loaded.
Is it possible to do?
Thanks again,
Vinícius.
You want that click to take the user straight to that page or do you mean you want the content to open up in a iFrame?
It’s quite easy to change the template on the home page to just direct the user to that page by taking this:
a rel=”wp-prettyPhoto” href=”<?php echo $homeurl1; ?>” title=”<?php the_title(); ?>”><?php echo remove_wp_width_height(get_the_post_thumbnail(get_the_ID(),’thumbnail’)); ?
and changing it to this:
a rel=”wp-prettyPhoto” href=”<?php <?php the_permalink (); ?> ?>” title=”<?php the_title(); ?>”><?php echo remove_wp_width_height(get_the_post_thumbnail(get_the_ID(),’thumbnail’)); ?
you will need to repeat this 5 times for each portfolio item.
As for opening the content in an iFrame – that isn’t that simple you could try this when you add a portfolio item in the URL field below the content: http://mythemepreviews.com/bruan/?portfolio=portfolio-title-9?iframe=true&height=600&width=800You would have to adjust the height and width of course, but other than that – that’s the quickest and easiest solution.
Hope this helps and thanks for your purchase!
aloha jonathan,
i have a little problem. try to insert a picture in my article i alway have only max with 670 pix size, i try to change the with in div class css .feat_img_blog but nothing happens..
the width in left_content_blog css i also change in 960px and it happends.
how can i resize the image in feat_img_blog??
thanks jerry
Hi Jerry – the image size (670px) is created through the functions file. I’m not entirely sure where about in the theme your wanting to change the 670px image size. There are several template files that call this size. Perhaps if you could be more specific about where you would like to change the image size – for example to update the blog index page you would need to update index.php and change php the_post_thumbnail(‘blog_inner’); to php the_post_thumbnail (‘thesize’); – thesize would be either ‘large’, ‘medium’, ‘thumbnail’ the large and medium sizes, which can be changed in the back end of WP under settings -> media. We do have a 960 image size created in the functions file already and that tag would be this ‘php the_post_thumbnail(‘slide’);’. But there are several template files that use specific image sizes throughout the theme. If you want to tell me where exactly where you want to change the image size – I can point you to the correct template file to update.
Hi there, apologies I may well be being stupid, but i can’t seem to find any of the matching code you’d specified to change the portfolio items on the home page to not open up in the lightbox and link to the specific page only! I’ve seriously tried
In relation to the post by viniciuslacerda
Thank you in advance!!!
Hi – that code is contained within the homepage template within your theme files – please use the contact form on my profile page if you require further assistance – many thanks!

Hi Jonathan
I did ping you an email using your contact form last week, right after you’d replied to this, not heard anything back?
thanks
We reply within minutes pretty much to every email we receive so we either didn’t get your message or replied and you never got it back.
Please resend

hi, i´m about to purchase the theme. is t possible to buy the content images? can the portfolio show just 1 or 2 columns?
thanks
No the content images were taken from flickr creative commons and then composited by myself – those are included in the theme. The portfolio is as it appears unless you wish to make modifications to the theme.
Many Thanks

Hi Jonathan,
I am having an issue with my portfolio page. When I go to publish a new portfolio item to the page the second row of images seem to scramble and drop to the bottom of the page. I was wondering if this had to do with the size of my featured images or with the content I have within each portfolio item?
Thanks

-Rick
Although I cannot recreate what you are seeing exactly – I do see the second row hasn’t moved to the left all the way in my browsers (firefox / chrome and firefox) – it seems to be because you don’t have a great deal of content under each of them or that titles are single and some double lines so it’s not forming a grid – it’s an easy fix – line 1813 of your style sheet just add min-height: 400px; and that should fix it for you – you can add that to the style.css or just enter the custom css in wordpress admin panel .grid li {min-height: 400px;}
Hope that helps – Itested in firefox using firebug and all seemed good after adding that
Jonathan
Hello i need to make a question, can i change all background color, white? thank you
Sure can – we can assist once you purchase.
Homepage slider question. I dont see what size I need to make my images anywhere in the documentation.
Hi – in your download are Photoshop files – there is a slider.psd in there for you to use as your template for creating the slider image.
Thanks
Hi Jonathon! Love the theme – but before I purchase, I have just one question – would it be possible to make multiple portfolio pages?
Thanks!
Hi – the theme is only set up to for 1 portfolio page. Portfolio was created using the ‘custom post types’. You could duplicate the code in functions.php to create new custom post types, but it’s quite detailed to do (especially if adding any other functionality such as meta boxes) unless your familiar with php code.
This would be considered a ‘customization’ which is offered for a quote/estimate if you’d like.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Hi.
How do I complitely disable the dropdown panel?
To customize to your specific requirements you’ll have to roll up your sleeves and attack the header php file in your theme folder – removing the section you wish.
Many thanks

Jonathan
Thanks.
Found the code and removed.
Hi.
Some problem with responsive version.
1) Slider does not show up on iPhone.
2) Portfolio item thumbnail is little stretched on home page and looks distorted. Same item thumbnail looks ok on the portfolio page.
Hi and thank you for your purchase.
1 – the slider doesn’t appear on the homepage for the iphone because we are hiding it specifically because that particular slider doesn’t play nice on the iphone
2 – portfolio item will look a little distored as it is being stretched by the CSS to fit the homepage (looks ok on the portfolio page because they are different sizes)
Hope this helps
Thanks
Hi, Jonathan – first of all: great GREAT theme. I looked into it since you released and now I finally have a customer where it would fit perfectly (a Jazz Band)
Pls allow two pre-sale questions 1. does the admin panel offer a “custom CSS ” section. This is so convienient if you only have some minor changes to make in respect to further updates 2. Everything looks so nicely squared – till you come to the lightbox with these rounded corners. Do you know whether it would be possible to change these corners to 90° rectangular ones?
Thanks in advance for answering, Katharina
Hi and thanks for the compliments – basically the answer to everything is yes – css panel in the admin – as for lightbox we use the plugin so it’s a simple choose a different lightbox theme – most have squared edges
Hope that helps
Jonathan
