I am very interested in this theme due to the ability to customize so much, which is a great feature. I see you can change the color or use a background image for many portions of the layout. Is it possible to use my own images for backgrounds?

That’s great news.
I am wondering though how as a user you would add your own images for backgrounds. I looked at all the admin panel screenshots (which it is awesome you include them all in the demo by the way) and it seems like you can select a color or a background pattern, but I don’t see an upload image option (such as for the menu, tag line, footer, etc.).

Just need to upload your images in wp-content/themes/builder/images/bg/ and the will be available for choose in Builder options

Hey it’s already integrated in theme, just try to edit pages and click blue button – “Visual Composer”

Is there any way to prevent a picture from loosing vertical height when viewed on a smaller screen than full desktop? I’m OK with the width of a picture shrinking.
Basically, the template is messing up my layouts when BOTH the height and width shrink, since the sidebar menus don’t get smaller on the height.
OR better yet, can I just turn off the responsiveness of the template? That would be better.

I agree Davidoffski. There’s a lot to like, but it’s overshadowed by the lack of effort in support and some irritating quirks of the template. At this point, I’m regretting the purchase.
