Great Looking Theme but One Issue – When I installed it on my site I get 403 errors for 2 of the php files so the site does not display correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can you show your website.I think It might be happening because GZIP compression might not be enabled on your web hosts.
If you can enable it then it best as that feature makes the site a bit faster. If you can’t i can give you the fix.

Fixed. You inserted two .htaccess files in two different directories ,which was confusing wordpress
weird I didn’t do anything with .htaccess files – i wonder if bluehost inserts them automatically when creating a wordpress instance? In any case thanks.

I removed those backgrounds as they were not fittings the design. You can use you own backgrounds. Those are just samples

Do you want the menu back also transparent or just the color behind logo transparent???

In the theme’s option panel go to styling settings>> Custom CSS and there add this code

I cannot change a thing, not even the header color. I goto your documentation – it seems to say I need the pagebuilder plugin – the blue links in your docs don’t work – so I go to github – I search for pagebuilder plugin – I cannot even understand the results – and there’s no pagebuilder. This is sold as an easily customizable theme – it’s not – do I have to be some master coder? – I’m not interested in that – I just want a theme that works – how the hell do I get any help with this? There seems to be no way to exchange emails…

While attempting to upload this I receive this error message – The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

I think you’re uploading all the ZIP files that you got from Themeforest. Unzip the contents and you’ll find a ZIPPED file named Butterfly. Just upload that
i tried to upload the zipped files to wordpress and it gave me a “fatal error” and subsequently forced me to reinstall wordpress. I’ve tried this twice now.
update it seems to happen once I activate it. It says installation successful, but once activated it gives me this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /home/brian/public_html/wp-content/themes/butterfly/admin/index.php on line 35

Hi, again. I seem to be having the same issues as ed617. I figured out that github was a separate website, but what page builder plugin am I looking for? I have to say that the instructions are a bit cryptic and hard to follow. I’m trying to customize my page.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Go to https://github.com/sy4mil/Aqua-Page-Builder/ and there should be a ZIP button. Download the files and install by going to Plugins >> Upload.

I just bought the butterfly design and I really like it but I don’t know how to get the pictures on my blog post to show up on the main page. When you go to the home page every picture is of the same monarch butterfly. Is there something that I need to change in the posts or do I need to change the HTML code?

When you’re editing any post there’s a section named “Featured Image”. You need to add an image in that section. That image is used thought website.

I have been trying to customize the background to use my own image. I go to appearance then customize and then background image, i upload it and save and publish and nothing, no images. I even tried changing the head color and still no changes. Please help. Thanks

I had figured it out, also I figured out how to do the post below. The thing I am having difficulty in right now is a photo gallery page i created. All of the images are left aligned and I can not get my photos to be in columns with in a full width page. How can I do that?

I am using the “awesome flickr gallery” plug in and at allows me to have my images in multiple columns but when I load the page they are all in one column on the left hand side
You can also use the inbuilt wordpress gallery unless you want “flickr” images to be shown.
If not interested in wordpress gallery then send me your login details. I’m pretty sure there will be option to make the images float. Plugins usually come with these options, will some kind of additional stylesheet

Is there a way to create a custom header image. Instead of using the rectangle with color and a spot for your logo, could I put a background image in there that fills the entire space of the header and goes right to the edge?
Also is it possible to make it so the header is all the way to the top of the website? “aligned to the top”
