Nice Work
Thank you for the kind words!
Just to let you know, this child theme is already supported by my free Genesis Toolbar Extras plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-toolbar-extras/

Awesome – love your work David!
nice white space allocation in design..
Thanks man, I appreciate it! (:
Hi,
We’ve bought the theme, but the link to the Genesis framework is dead!!!?
Please can you sort this ASAP so that we can get on with the project?
Kind regards
Dan
Hey Dan, looks like StudioPress is no longer selling the framework via ThemeForest – (I’m not apart of this link/affiliation, and can’t fix/remove that link myself – I just create child theme’s for the framework) But you can read more about Genesis and purchase it straight from the source at http://www.studiopress.com/features
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the theme or Genesis!
Cheers, Justin
Also I just shot a support ticket to ThemeForest to see if they can get this fixed. Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for the reply.
I’m not familiar with the Genesis framework; I presume you just install it, then the Caffeinated theme and go from there? Is there anything else we’ll need to buy in order to get going with this theme?
Kind regards
Dan
You are exactly right. It has a bit of a learning curve like anything WordPress related – but once I got the hang of it I haven’t had any reason – or want – to use anything else. Better yet, my clients love it (: Email me at jtwerdy [at] gmail [dot] com if you need any help with your install – or have any questions!
Hi Justin,
We’ve emailed you some support issues, but duplicate them on here too:
We have been using the Caffeinated theme along with the Genesis framework since this morning.
We were a little bit disappointed with how much CSS we’ve had to edit in order to customise simple things like site logo, header colours, menu item colours etc.
But the biggest issue is the widget setup. When setting the homepage up in exactly the way you describe in the read me, the home # etc’s look awful. They don’t seem to be styled correctly.
For some reason (no matter which combination we try) we cannot get the Portfolio to display. We’ve followed the instructions exactly, but it still doesn’t display.
Also, how do we change the footer text at the bottom of the theme? There is no footer.php page within the Caffeinated theme editor, and the page that contains the option within Genesis recommends against it as well as it seeming to be hidden?
This site is for a client with no technical knowledge at all, so we really need this theme to work properly. For a $90 theme (inc the compulsory Genesis framework) we’d expect considerably better performance.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Dan
jtwerdy, hope you don’t mind me butting in – lovedbyparents – you’ll need this plugin to amend the footer: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-simple-edits/ – this is required whichever Genesis child theme you use.
Hello I bought your theme yesterday, however I’m not finding the Genesis theme framework. I need help, where do I find this theme?
Hello – you can purchase the Genesis Framework over at http://my.studiopress.com/themes/genesis/ and you can read more about the framework here: http://www.studiopress.com/features
Warning: require_once(/www/krushall.godohosting.com/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/init.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/krushall.godohosting.com/wp-content/themes/caffeinated/functions.php on line 3

Hi Your theme does not work as above. Can you tell me what’s going on? Thank you
Did you install Genesis before installing and activating the theme? If you haven’t – you’ll just need to access your site via FTP and then upload the unzipped genesis folder to /wp-content/themes/ – it looks like yours would be ”/www/krushall.godohosting.com/wp-content/themes/”.
Or you can delete the Caffeinated theme from this directory (default Twenty Twelve theme will activate) which will allow you to log into your WordPress site and then you can proceed to install Genesis and then the Caffeinated theme the normal way.
Hi,
I just purchased this great looking theme and I’m excited to get started. Unfortunately, I got this error:
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
I installed Genesis before installing the Caffeinated child theme. Help would be appreciated. Mike
Hey Mike – thanks for purchasing the theme! Take a look over: http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/269/0/my-wordpress-theme-isnt-working-what-should-i-do
Typically this problem pops up when someone tries to activate the initial zip file – the actual theme file that needs to be uploaded is actually inside that initial file. Just the way ThemeForest does it – sorry for the inconvenience! Let me know if that works out for you.
Hi jtwerdy,
Thanks for the tip. I just successful installed the theme from the zip file, but there’s something up with the stylesheets.
Can you go to ppcforsmartpeople.com and tell me what’s up?
Mike
Hey – from what I can tell looking at it – there’s a bunch of widgets in the “Header Right” widget area. Just take those out (:
You can get to the widget areas by going to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.
Then on this page, over on the right side – toggle open “Header Right” you should see some widgets in there. Either delete them, move them to primary sidebar, etc.
In my demo i’m just using a “Custom Menu” widget in that spot. Hope that helps!
