Ok thanks, but what about the previous about the Twitter function not working?

DigitalHenry

Justin,

Is your Twitter profile private by any chance?

Hi, no it’s not private. It did work in a previous theme I used.

DigitalHenry

Justin,

I’ll look for a solution and get back to you as soon as I can.

Hi! Presenting this to a client tomorrow, but I just uncovered something… Looks like the top nav display for child pages is to show the title to the right of the parent (w/in the nav). Is this the only option?

If that’s the case, then the nav slides back and forth, which isn’t optimal. Please tell me there’s a drop down and I’ll see that choice when I buy it?

if not, it may be a dealbreaker.

Thanks Henry, the twitter feed does work now, but it’s outdated. I updated Twitter 4 times since what it shows on my homepage?

Justin,

To be honest I’m not completely sure why it’s not working properly for you. Everyone else who has purchased the theme doesn’t seem to have a problem with the twitter feed. I can only sugget taking a look at the Twitter plugin we used.

Hey Henry, thats cool np. Yeah was just driving me crazy. Thanks for looking into that though.

One last question, I can’t find the CSS parameter for the Latest Blog Posts to removing the left padding. I removed the calendar image that appeared next to the post but cannot get the text to be completely justified left.

Hey Henry, this is really the last thing for my site to be 100% complete. Can you please let me know where that parameter is? I was checking in the CSS and adjusting padding etc but nothing will change it.

Can you post the link to the site please.

Typically , I’m pretty good with CSS , but for some reason, any edits I have made (i reverted them too) do not change this.

Company Blog posts bottom right. I removed the calendar images and want the posts left justified to compensate for removing the calendar image.

Thanks,

DigitalHenry

home-blog ul li a, div.widget_recentposts ul li a {

background:url(“images/icons/calendar.png”) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; display:block; font-size:14px; line-height:16px; padding-left:60px; /* This is the code that needs to be commented out*/ width:100%; }

The padding left should be removed or commented out so that the text can be flushed left.

Let me know is that works for you. Sorry I took so long I’ve been busy. Thanks again.

To make it clear just remove line 222 from styles.css. It should be the padding that doesn’t allow it to be flushed left.

removed line 222 exactly as you stated. same result the text does not justify left at all.

DigitalHenry

What browser are you using? Also, did you remove the padding styles?

Hi,

I’m using Safari, Chrome, FF on Apple, and also IE on PC. Still no change. Remove the padding style from the widget code? It is completely removed form line 222 in style.css.

DigitalHenry

Try this

padding-left:0px !important;

Nothing, I’m trying everything. I notice removing the class=”grid_4 prefix_1” , make the blog layout wider, but still no padding works. The text is still compensated for the removed image and spills over is hidden/chopped off.

DigitalHenry

I’ll ask my developer. It must be some widget that has somehow generated some styles to it.

Please check out this http://screenr.com/lV4 screencast I made to show how I got it to work for me. Let me know how it goes.

Henry, YOU ARE AWESOME ! Seriously, thats was above and beyond what you did. That is exactly the padding I’ve been removing and for some reason it doesn’t apply. Maybe you’re right there is some additional css in the widget somewhere.

But, I’ll definitely talk you up and promote your themes. Thanks again for the excellent service.

Henry, I did a standard install (GoDaddy Account – Admin Interface) and the site is missing images and paths to the images seem to be broken….any idea why?
