Yes, when you add a slider block you can choose the transition type and delay.

Hi, yes you have an option on each page to turn off the header with the title.

Well those are part of the theme. You could change the background on them to transparent if you don’t like them. Get the plugin ‘Firebug’ for Firefox to find what css to change easily.
Hi, could you tell me exactly the proceedures to do to install a portfolio page with different porfolios (food, fashion, etc etc) in which there are at least 10 photos.
When I take the portfolio template for the page, add feature boxes, the boxes do no appear…They appear only when I use the default page setting. However I then don’t see how to get the photos into the boxes with the possibility to expand & browse.

Step 1 – Create a POST for each portfolio item. Upload a featured image for each post as the portfolio item’s main image which shows up on the main portfolio page. (put them in a category like ‘food’)
Step 2 – Create a PAGE and choose a portfolio template as it’s type. Then choose the post category that you want to appear in this specific portfolio. (ex: food)
Step 3 In the Theme Options > Content Settings add your new portfolio category (food) to the portfolio categories setting.
Step 4 Install the Nextgen gallery plugin. Create a new gallery and upload images for any post that you want to have multiple images. Paste the gallery shortcode it gives you into the post it is for.

Hi, the word doc is the same thing as the pdf, it is just easier to edit and update.

Hi There, I tried to follow the steps you have given AntSot8727 with regards to setting up the portfolio (similar to the live demo, as a default) but i fail miserably.
I managed to install the “Carbon_install.xml” to see how the live demo portfolio page/post was setup but the demo file has only the Links to live demo site. So, it doesnt help much…
The documentation sounds easy when it comes to setting up portfolio, plus the additional info. on Nextgen gallery.
1.) Do you have a detail documentation about the demo portfolio page. 2.) When I use the NextGen Gallery short code, [nggallery id=4], i managed to get it working however, it appears that the gallery background is taking the theme color style that i have set. It different from the live demo. The live demo background is white, which I’m aiming for.

another problem is that I like the size & border of the first picture when we click on it (thick black then white, round corners, large picture) the rest follow with another border & design??
Also can you explain how to get the slideshow working

You just need to click the “more” button in the portfolio post to tell it where to cut off the preview or just use an excerpt.
The nextgen gallery has different pop up effects you can choose from.
For the slider, create a slide by clicking slides > add new and upload an image where it says set featured image. Type a title, description, save. Now add a slider type to whichever page you want and this slide will show up.

Me again! Could you also explain how the system works on the contact page. When someone sends an emai. Do I have to create a special thankyou page & error page ? then put this in the theme options – contact page – thankyou page ? I put in “home” but get a page with “Not Found The requested document was not found on this server.”

You can create a thank you page and paste the url in there or you can paste any url such as your main homepage’s url.

You can go into the file at /includes/slider/camera/camera-init.php and change the height setting to % of px

You can just paste the embed code for the video into the video embed field. There isn’t an option in this one to show a smaller video with a title and description next to it.

You would just need to change the padding on div.footer and the header css
Having truble installing the theme using both methods
1.admin panel upload gives notice: the theme missing style.css (unzipping the folder shows it’s there ) 2.uploading threw FTP doesn’t seem to work either
-tried downloading the theme again and no change -tried uploading and installing different themes on the site and worked well -tried uploading Carbon to other sites and didn’t work
Did you unzip the initial file you get from themeforest?
I did, couldn’t locate the “carbon_install.zip” as written in the documentation file
Does themeforest offer any download link for the wordpress version? They offer us a field to upload one when submitting / editor themes.
