Love the theme so far but do have question. I bought the wordpress version and would like to set up my homepage with slider and then below the slider i would like to set up three columns. Most of the themes i am use to have shortcode to do this. I would like to have three images spread out evenly with information below each picture. How do i accomplish this with your theme. Thank you for you help. I already have slider in place but just need the code to set up columns.

There’s no need for columns shortcodes. In Cardamon WP you can add columns visually! Here, I’ve made a screencast to show how this can be done: http://screenr.com/Pvl8
You may find this approach unusual, but after playing with it for 5-10 minutes you’ll see how simple and natural it is

Hello, thank you so much for these designs – I love them! Im using tatoo design right now, and on your samlpe there is a bar with information; mail, number and so on. There is not a “how to do” in your manual. So I would love to know, how to make it! Because that would be great for my site.

In your “wp-admin – theme options – appearance” on the tab called “misc” you’ll find a box called “contacts in header”. Click the “Show contacts in header” checkbox; add required information; save options and you ready to go

1. is it possible to put 3 logos across the top above navigation? one left, one centre and one right?. 2. Can I use the photostack slider with the homepage with sidebar? When will you have links on the photostack? 3. is there unlimited sidebars for different pages/posts, as I need advertisements on the sidebar for the homepage and throughout the site.

1: there’s no such option, but you can upload single image with 3 logos on it. OR you can easily hardcode your logos.
2: Yes. we are planning updates in couple of weeks.
3. Unlimited sidebars are available for pages. also there are separate (not unlimited) sidebars for posts in blog, portfolio and catalog. We are considering enabling it for posts, but it’s still TBD
We are considering to buy this nice template, but we need to know 2 things: 1. All images in the gallery are vertical images e.g. 50px x 25px, it is possible to make them into horizontal e.g. 25px x 50px maybe in the css-file? It is necessary to know for us, as all our photos are horizontal.
2. We could see that there were written here 6 days ago about a problem in multi-language and that you will try to find a solution for this – have you looked at this?, you mention that the problem was the post type? what do you mean by that?

1: All images are landscape (horisontal) and their sizes are hardcoded. Portrait images are being cropped.
2: Cardamon is compatible with WPML (compatibility report was from a person with old version of the plugin)

this requires some css tweaks. If you are familiar with css, please use the FireBug (FireFox plugin) to define which properties should be changed. also you can consider hiring a freelancer to help you (this customization requires considerable amount of time, but can be accomplished by a mid-level specialist, so it will not cost much).

I do not know which plugin gave you this alert, but: html5.js is file that used to enable HTML 5 tags in older IE and quicktags.js is blank file – there’s no functions or code at all!
Please check your copy of quicktags.js. It must exactly the same as this one: http://cardamon.dream-theme.com/dev/wp-content/themes/dt-cardamon/plugins/shortcodes/shortcodekid/includes/columns/quicktags.js

Dear, you can only translate the theme using the plugin or have otherwise. The plugin is definitely not working. The information that appears is Language Folder: The translation file folder is ambiguous, please select by clicking the appropriated language file folder or ask the Author about!

As ‘giovanni22ro’ and ‘eamond’ have said, having the option to have links on the PhotoStack Slider is something I’m really keen to use, I love this theme and will be looking forward to your update – also may I add that on the PhotoStack Slider, would this be possible to loop and play again when it gets to last image slide ? many thanks, Richard
Hi, quick question. Almost done with my website and really like your theme but has strange thing happen. My slider option on website in the dashboard area vanished. It was under comments is not longer there. Not sure what i did to make this happen….slider on site is working though but i would like to add additional sliders but do not see but. The dashboard is on full size. Thanks for you help.

Unfortunately most responsive themes are like a toilet roll: you can not get info that you are looking for until you run through it all
IMO “webkit-text-size-adjust” is making site much more usable on mobile devices than “responsiveness”.
Just purchased the theme….looks like it will be great. However, I cannot get the slideshow to work on the home page in any form. I have tried both Nivo and Stack shows and all I get are blank pages where the pictures should be. The text however works. I wanted to try and catch you before you go on vacation. THANKS

Am I able to alter the appearance of the menu bar, like change colors etc.

you can edit menu text color. to change the background you’ll have to change 1 background image and [maybe] couple of css properties (for drop-downs). You can use FireBug (FireFox plugin) to define which properties should be changed and where.

there’s no such a function in the admin panel. but it can be customized easily by a person with even intermediate knowledge in css and photoshop.
