Hi there,

Apologies for the issue – we are currently investigating the problem with our update hosting provider.

I am having the same issue

Which issue?

There’s another problem with the Theme Update. When trying to import the demo content there’s an error during the process and it gets stuck on a 404:error-

404 Sorry but we couldn’t find the page you are looking for. Please check to make sure you’ve typed the URL correctly. You may also want to search for what you are looking for.

Can you please let me know if this will be resolved soon?

Hi there,

That issue is not likely to be with the theme update. The 404 is likely caused by a timeout on your hosting. Which demo are you trying to import?

I just installed the latest version of Cardinal on a new site to start building it. Today, it generated a white screen of death for backend and frontend after login. I disabled everything and re-installed, activated the child theme, but while I can access the backend, the frontend is still WSOD. Switched to TwentyFifteen and it’s OK. I’m sensing that if I log out of the backend again, I won’t be able to access it again. Plugins don’t appear to be causing the issue because disabling them doesn’t fix it.

It’s causing something buggy with Posts. If I try to click on Posts, it generates a WSOD. I’ve now uninstalled all plugins and Cardinal, but the dummy content is in there for Agency 2.

Yes, everything is OK as long as the dummy content isn’t installed. I had to completely start over with a clean WP install. Even deleting the posts in PHPMyAdmin didn’t work.

Hi there,

Sounds like it may be a memory issue – can you enable WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php and let us know the error message? Feel free to send us an email via: http://themeforest.net/user/swiftideas

Hi ! I would like to change some php codes related to the site’s main logo on the top left corner. Where should I find this file ? Thanks !

Hi there,

You’d want to override the output function, in a child theme. You can find the header output in /swift-framework/core/sf-header.php . If you copy the function with the code you want to edit in, to the child theme then you can make your changes there that will stick with updates.

Im having the problem of my custom fonts not uploading. when i upload the font just says “please wait”.... Any advice?

Unfortunately this is an issue with the Redux theme options extension – we are currently awaiting a fix from them, and will update the theme as soon as it’s resolved. In the meantime, you can workaround the issue by manually uploading the fonts. All you need to do is upload all the font files manually through ftp or your server tools at

>wp-content/uploads/redux/custom-fonts/fontname

Then you should be able to select the font in the Font Options.

Hope that helps.

Hi Guys, there is anyway to change the menu in portfolio items? In my home, im using one-page nav, so my menu items are #rowid, but when im inside in a portfolio item, obviously this doesn’t work, and if i change the menu to url.com/#rowid, i don’t get that nice animation, i guess because the page is reload but now in the rowid. So i want to create a separate menu with url.com/#rowid. I hope you can help me, thank you.

Hi there,

Not currently – but we’ll see about adding a menu override option to port items in a future update.

You can use this class:

#site-loading .spinner {}

Thank you so much! I also see that you offer a Workaround for my first issue, just have to create a menu with anchors for the home. Thank folks.

No problem, happy to help!

Hi there,

After the last Wordpress update the “Move Up” animation no longer works and instead a fade in effect is applied. Can you advise on how to fix this issue? That particular animation looked perfect on the style I’m going for.

The animation is set to rows in the swift page builder.

Many Thanks,

Phil

Yes the swift plugin and theme are the latest versions

I also tried it on a fresh install of both Wordpress and the theme with the same problem occurring.

Cheers, Phil

Thanks for pointing that out – will get that fixed for the next update.
