Cart added extra 1 item on page refresh

There is another issue that needs addressing – when you refresh a page on the item details screen it automatically adds the item again to the cart. This can be really problematic for some people. Also is there a way to add a clear cart button in the header drop-down mini-ajax cart area? Your demo has this same issue.

Hi Anton

Thanks for the heads-up. I think the refresh issue is common to WooCommerce stores – seems like it happens when there are viable products and you have already selected an option and then refresh.

We haven’t got plans to add clear on the mini cart, but we’ll add it to our customer wishlist.

Ok, thanks

Urgent!! add to cart is not working, when a customer tries to add something it redirect to a age that says : YOUR CART IS CURRENTLY EMPTY.

Also, how does a customer create an account?

There is only a login link but that is only for existing ones, not a create new account option.

I know when customers are checking out there is an option to create the account but I need customers to be able to do this even if they are not purchasing goods

I purchased the latest version of the theme, running lastest version of wordpress and woocommerce. I am also making sure there is more than 1 in the quantity field.

I updated to the latest woocommerce “Because some themes still bundle old files for the add to cart template being used for variable products, adding a variable product to cart fails. This should be solved by the theme developers by updating the template file.”

Hi Laura

Sorry to hear that you are have some issues with your site. I don’t think the problem is because you have updated to the latest version of WooCommerce – our demo site is also up to date and that allows for variable products to be added to the cart.

I’ve also replied to your PM

How can we disable your modal / lightbox – I have implemented jackbox lightbox in other areas of the site including the shop area. But it seems you have deeply embedded the cycle-sentinel class into the single product in woo commerce – even when we disable the lightbox in woo commerce it still works. Also since you have not wp-enqued the modal plugin it is hard to write a filter in functions.php to remove it. Usually this is done by adding <?php /* Remove WooCommerce styles and scripts. */ function woo_remove_lightboxes() { }

// Styles
wp_dequeue_style( 'woocommerce_prettyPhoto_css' );
// Scripts
wp_dequeue_script( 'prettyPhoto' );
wp_dequeue_script( 'prettyPhoto-init' );
wp_dequeue_script( 'fancybox' );
wp_dequeue_script( 'enable-lightbox' );

add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘woo_remove_lightboxes’, 99 ); ?>

but in this case we cannot. Can you write a filter so we can remove the modal you have chosen to allow us more flexibility. I would like to have a more consistent lightbox experience throughout the site, and I really like jackbox.

I love what you have done – and I am enjoying using this theme as a great jumping off point for my design. For next release, I would recommend an easier child theme implementation, as this is a standard now when it comes to theme mods. However I do like how you have separated the functions.php into separate resources/scripts ( very tidy)

Also, I noticed that with the flex-box carousel/slider implication on home empalates, the images do not have title tags – they have alt but title is left out – How can we add this for SEO (I will research it in the mean-time)

Thanks for answering all my questions so far..

How can we put a play/stop button on the page. I think many people will want to control the video background in some cases.

This might be a nice feature to add to the next build.

I answered my own question <input type=”button” onclick=”jQuery(’#featured-video-overlay’).pauseYTP()”>pause the video</button> <input type=”button” onclick=”jQuery(’#featured-video-overlay’).playYTP()”>play the video</button>

$(”#myElement”).on(“click”,function(){ jQuery(’#featured-video-overlay’).pauseYTP() })

Now how to put this in the top-bar header and make it look pretty…

For anyone interested you can add the following code to the site-head.php where you would like to have the buttons appear ( i liked the right side of the top bar near the login )

<a href="#" onclick="jQuery('#featured-video-overlay').pauseYTP()" class="btn btn-large btn-success"><i class="fa fa-pause" /> Pause Video</a> <a href="#" onclick="jQuery('#featured-video-overlay').playYTP()" class="btn btn-large btn-success"><i class="icon-play-sign" /> Play</a>

You can add font-awesome code in the site-head just before the </header> close tag <link href=”//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.2.0/css/font-awesome.min.css” rel=”stylesheet”>

It worked for me, until BA finds a different or better solution.. cheers all

Thanks Anton

Found a small error in the site.css – line 10874

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, #top-nav-user-menu, #category-accordion-footer li a { font-family: #ffffff;

Just thought I would let you know when I corrected it in my copy. font-family: ?

Thanks again Anton

Hi, I have a problem on the iPhone. Nothing happend after clicking on a submenu-item. What could be the problem? On android it works fine.

Do you have the latest version of Casablanca – it should be 1.3.4?

I have been playing with your custom search.php and I see that you have restricted the search to products – which is fine for the woo commerce based websites – but if also prevent product-tag searching and I think this is important. How can we modify your search to allow product-tags.

Also I have it working with the plugin swiftype, but again the main search.php is restricting product tag queries.

<?php // restrict query to products global $wp_query; if( isset($_GET[‘post_type’]) && $_GET[‘post_type’] == ‘product’ ) { ?>

$args = array_merge( $wp_query->query_vars, array( 'post_type' => 'product' ) );
query_posts( $args );

Can you send me a code snippet to allow tags please – Cheers,

Hi, great theme you got over there. So, I need some help with the following:

1. Translations in the website; 2. Add to Cart Button.

Regarding translations:

a) I’d like to translate “Details” and “Reviews” b) Reviews Tab “There are no reviews yet, would you like to submit yours?

Love this product? WRITE A REVIEW”

2. Also, where is the Add to cart button??

Check the URL below for better understanding what I’m talking about:

Thanks, Tiago

Hi Tiago

Thanks for buying Casablanca – we’re glad you like it!

We don’t offer a translation service I’m afraid.

On the question of the missing Add to Cart button. This looks like it might be a WooCommerce issue. Have you set a price for the product? This is what a product looks like when you don’t have a price: http://themes.bacreative.com.au/casablanca/?product=velvet-ribbons-and-lace-blouse

Hope that helps
