Hi again!

I got it set up now. However, I cannot seem to find how to change the links and “© 2007 – 2012 Celebrity Theme. All rights reserved.” in the smaller footer. The celebrity footer links are only for the larger footer.

To change footer you need to go to system -> configuration -> design -> footer

Regarding change footer links – they coded in layout xml. Here is a good article on that point – http://tomrobertshaw.net/2010/06/how-to-change-the-footer-links-in-magento/

Hi giorgiojob,

One variant is to create empty category and assign it static block. Another variant is use URL rewrite to redirect from category to CMS page.

Is there a way to use hoverintent with the top drop down menu? It opens very easily. One of my main drop down categories has 50 subcategories and is hard to navigate off the menu to close it when it accidentally opens.

I would like to move the Search Box into the header. So I can have the menubar list all the categories across the bar. Also make the font-size smaller, so that I can fit as many categories across the menubar.

You need to edit app\design\frontend\default\celebrity\layout\local.xml Please remove

<remove name="left.permanent.callout"/>

text and insert following text:

Where ‘images/media/banner1.jpg’ is file located in skin\frontend\default\celebrity\images\media\ You can upload your banners in that folder and update file name in ‘local.xml’

Hi Olegnax Please ignore my prior 2 questions. I was able to figure most of it out, based on some of your previous postings. If you can take a look at my site—http://bsthink.com ~~- there is a black margin in the header -~~ any thoughts on how to remove that? —also in the home-page there is a big gap between the Latest Arrivals bar and the Newsletter Signup. – how can I reduce that?

Final request. I would like to have a tiled image background. Suggestions on the best way to do that.

Hi,

If you want to use tiled image on background, you need to do following steps:

remove any values from footer bg, header bg and content bg in theme option.

edit ‘skin/frontend/default/celebrity/css/local.css’ and add

body {background: url("../images/bg.jpg") 0 0 repeat !important; }

where ‘bg.jpg’ – your bg image. It should be located in ‘skin/frontend/default/celebrity/images/’

If you have empty navigation – it means that no categories connected to store.

Hi, I have yet another question. It seems I cannot find out how to reduce the currencies to ONLY euros. I changed the following to Euros or Euros only: Base Currency Default Display Currency Allowed Currencies The pounds symbol next to the shopping cart was gone, but the US$ still remains?!

Hi, we are still more than happy with this template and now its online: centromoda.de – We wanted to translate LATEST ARRiVALS to the different languages, but its hard coded (Verion 1.12) and not possible to translate with then magento tool. Ist there any plan to change this? When I change this in the template its than in german in all other languages also. Does the newest Version 1.13 solve this problem?
