I may be asking a stupid question so apologies if so but I have just purchased v2.0.3 but he documentation file says it is for v1.5. Is there any documentation for the new features anywhere ?
Not much has changed in terms of user experience, so the documentation for 1.5 is still the latest one.
Hi, Thanks for the great theme! I have my blog as the home page but I am having trouble adjusting the excerpt summary size. Have tried changing the shortcodes.php – string_limit_words($excerpt,11) but it doesn’t do anything. I also have tried changing the settings in the reading tab to full text but it doesn’t change anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Hi, this is handled by the loop.php file, and it displays content of post using “the_excerpt” function, by default it takes first 55 words, but you can add your own excerpt to a post, by simply writing one in the Excerpt field under the post edit box. An excerpt can be as short or as long as you wish.
I just want to be able to change the length of the excerpt on the home page to show the whole post or a larger number than 55 words. Do I change this in the loop.php file? When I change the settings in the reading tab to full text nothing happens.
Then just edit loop.php and change “the_excerpt()” to “the_content()”
Just bought theme and cant seem to even find the extras/import.xml file in the theme package. Where are they located?

and extract it, you’ll find inside folder named “extras”.

We have a strange effect that has just popped up and I’m not exactly sure why. On our pages, posts, etc, I’m not able to edit the URL. When I click edit, nothing happens – and this is the case in chrome, safari, and firefox on multiple computers! Along with this, various “toggles” in the admin menu seem not to work and I can’t figure out why, meaning that I can’t expand them to edit the info in it. Do you have any idea why this might be happening?

Hi, you’ve probably made update to latest version of WordPress? If yes, you need to also update Centum theme, as you’re using really old one 1.3, latest is 2.0.3

Hi, in Theme Customizer, the links in posts and pages are the same color as Main Color scheme
I have updated from 1.5. The Twitter Widget has been disabled. I activated it and I see new authorization features for twitter in the options. The Widget works, its a little bit messy with formatting etc. Do i need to set teh authorization keys here? Thanks in advance!

Hi, in Theme Options – Portfolio Options you can select number of portfolio items to display, so just choose the maximum number to show all of them.
Thanks for the quick respons. The maximum number of portfolio items i can select is 16. I have a few more than that.
The main problem is that when I select a certain categorie in the portfolio sub-menu all items move away and i have to click older posts to see the ones in that categorie.
Be sure to have latest version of Centum, you can select up to 99

I got a problem with the flexslider…..it doesnt work…..i enabled the slider on my homepage in theme options, added the pictures, and clicked save changes…..seems like flexslider doesn’t load at all. Haven’t tried the rev slider yet.
So far what i did was just creating the navigation, changing reading settings to static page, uploading the logo. I also updated centum by completely deleting the old one that was already on wordpress and uploaded the new centum wordpress ready zip file. Maybe the steps outlined above had something to do with flexsilder not beeing able to work properly.

Hi, have you selected Page Template for that page? You can use Home Page or Page with Flexslider. If you’ll have problems, please open a private ticket on my support forum http://purethemes.ticksy.com/ with login details to your wp-admin.

Hi Niels, what do you mean by code? There’s a simple “upload” input in Theme Options where you just select image you want, also you can set margins to position it correctly.

How do i get the logo in the header? It needs to be in the middle of the header, without any page title or page description.

I’d like to add LOGIN / OUT link to the copyright area on my theme. Is this possible? I can add it to sidebar using the enhanced text widget. but the php will not work when added to copyright area of theme settings..
