Hi,

First, I want you to know that I appreciate your support for this theme and I am very satisfied with it.

I successfully added the TagLine using your advice. I also added a header Contact style to place my client’s phone number on the header. This works fine. However, now I am trying to re-position the Menu to be lower on the header.

I attempted to change this code (see below) in styles.css: You can see my header .contact style, which works. However, when I change the position:absolute; top:1000px; right:10px top: value, it has absolutely NO affect on the positioning of the header menu. Is this the value that I should be updating to position the menu lower on the header? If not, can you point me in the right direction?

I uploaded my site to http://www.gulfcoastinformationsolutions.com/sirscansalot for testing.

Thank you for your support.

Hi Santlou.

The menu’s top position property is being overridden… so you should append the !important property to your rule:

top: 1000px !important;

Just purchased the theme. I noticed that I don’t seem to have the ability to create additional sidebars.

I need to have different sidebars on different pages or i need to remove the sidebar from each page and go to full width with columns 2/3 and 1/3

How can i resolve this issue?

Hi leafboy.

Unfortunately it is not possible to achieve what you want with Chapter One. There is not any feature to create additional sidebars nor going full width.

Regards

I had to move my site and theme to a new hosting platform and when I go to activate the theme, I get this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/britanni/public_html/wp-content/themes/chapter_one/admin/includes/twitter/twitter.php on line 143

Please check if your new server is running a recent PHP version. (>= 5.3.0)... Usually they allow you to control that.

this theme looks amazing i want to try it on my site http://www.pcs4you.co.uk so you think it will look better and can it be colour changed to match the business colors..

thanks guys

oitentaecinco

Hi.

The only color that can be changed automatically is the accent color… The color of the links, the titles, etc. This theme doesn’t have a full color manager tool. So if you need to change the background, and everything else, you’ll have to be comfortable with CSS, to manually customize it.

Regards.
