How can I change the small square color background and the color arrow that is in the button? what number in the light-green.css is located the right or left small square with the arrow and the $ icon? I want change only the color of the small square plus the arrow and $ sign.

Thanks

Hello,

everything regarding buttons can be found in “BUTTONS” group of CSS file, starting at line 1636. To edit the small rectangular part of button you’d edit the .button .icon rule. To change the icon you will have to edit the icons.psd file and re-export the icons.png file. :)

Great Theme! Put me down on the list for the login and registration pages.

If I buy the theme now, and you add the pages later, would I get them for free, or would I have to repurchase the theme?

Orbital_Themes

You’ll be able to re-download the newest version for free :)

Hi Pogoking,

I really digg this theme, it’s exactly what I was looking for. There is one little thing that I can’t seem to get working: the link on a button in the slider / banner area. Can you check on this please?

Thanks

Orbital_Themes

Hello,

what problem exactly do you have with it?

I’ve put a generic button in the featured area. It displays fine, but is not clickable

This is the code I used for the button:

<a class="button button-mail href="mailto:info@4985.com?&subject=Please%20Invite%20Me%20subject">Request an Invite<span class="icon"></span>

Orbital_Themes

First: the button on your screenshot is the button from my demo, which doesn’t have any href attribute.

Second, and more important: there’s and error in your code, it should be like this: <a href="mailto:info@4985.com?&subject=Please%20Invite%20Me%20subject" class="button button-mail">Request an Invite<span class="icon"></span></a>

You haven’t closed the quotes after class attribute. :)

Hope this helps, cheers!

not a wp theme :D

Orbital_Themes

Nope, it’s a HTML / CSS (hence the name – ”... HTML Template”).

If you haven’t downloaded the theme yet you’ll be able to ask TF support for a refund.

Hello

I love this theme. I have a question before I get it. Envato has advised us to contact the author for showcasing your theme on our website.

Is it possible for us to showcase your theme in live preview on our server so that our clients get to know how this theme works?

As you know, it’s not easy for us to sell our custom service without showing our clients how the theme works.

Of course we’re going to purchase the theme first, showcase this theme on our website in live preview, and then we’ll buy each license for each domain, or website for our clients.

I hope this will help increase the sales volume of this theme for you, Envato, and us.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks!

Orbital_Themes

Hello ritzbrown,

thanks for your interest in CheerApp.

Standard licensing rules will apply here, so one regular license for your live preview will be needed, as well as one regular license per client/domain, as long as you do not resell the theme “as is”, but rather offer it as part of your service along with customization (or however your service works :)).

That is due to licensing terms, which say that you may not resell themes bought here, but you can buy them on behalf of your client.

If you, however, offer a web service like, for example, wordpress.com, where people are able to sign up for your service and use one of the themes that you offer, all within one top level domain – this will require a single extended license.

Hope that clarifies things for you. :)

Hi,

there is no dropdown list styled. Do you plan to add one?

Thanks!

Orbital_Themes

Hello,

what do you mean by ‘dropdown list’? There is a dropdown menu…

i noticed that the demo has php registration forms and login forms on it. how come when i bought this it didnt come with it?

Orbital_Themes

I’ve added them as an update around two weeks ago. Once you re-download files from ThemeForest you’ll have the newest version.

On a side note there is no PHP involved there since it’s only an HTML template, not a working CMS . :)

Cheers!

lets say that i buy this. does your template come with the psd version of all the images you used so that i can make my own images?

Orbital_Themes

You will get the OS X windows PSD so that you can just swap your screenshots/images. The iMac one can be downloaded from the internet, just search Google for “imac psd”.

Any chance of adding some tables styling? (non-pricing tables, just regular old tables)

That would really push me to purchase this theme.

Thanks!

Not IE7 Compatible as stated. Very Disappointed.

Orbital_Themes

How is that? What problems do you have? It works very well for me in IE7 . Care to share some more info?

Is it possible to have the vertical menu like the one in the PSD ? Also, the “Logged in as pogoking” looks better than the original one.

Thanks a lot, and great theme!

Orbital_Themes

Sure, just change the class on nav element from dropdown to compact :) Keep in mind that this kind of menu won’t play well in every case, especially when you have a lot of second level items in your menu.

What do you mean by “the original one” ?

This is a great looking theme, but front-end development is tricky.

The buttons are built uniquely (uses p-tags wrapped around the input tag) developing javascript for this template takes a lot more effort.

Orbital_Themes

That’s right for forms. Additional span is needed as icon container (you could make use of multiple backgrounds in CSS but that would be hell lot of code given five gradient definitions, each for another browser), and you cannot put a span inside an input tag. That’s why I’ve decided to style the actual button’s parent.

What troubles do you have? I could help a bit with javascript if I knew what you want to achieve.

THEYRE Purchased

Its fine, I was able to figure it out. I mean the buttons look great, I just wish there were a cleaner way to render them.

Also, javascript docs could be a little bit more verbose. For example, this is the only comment on almost 200 lines of custom javascript:

“Replaces the default form elements (select, checkbox) with custom ones to enable custom styling”

... ok, but what custom styling are talking about? How can we use this? Right now all it does is hide my select and checkboxes. Maybe I missed it somewhere but I can’t find any example of custom checkboxes/select boxes and how to customize in the docs or in the template files.

Orbital_Themes

What the replacing function does is it replaces the original select and checkbox elements with custom HTML markup, which is then styled to fit with theme’s design.

If you follow my markup in example files (that is place each element like select and checkbox elements inside a paragraph tag) the function will run as it should.

If you, however, omit wrapping these form elements with paragraph tags the function will probably do what you are experiencing – your select element will just vanish.

Putting form each input element inside a block-level element like p or div is considered good practice anyway, so I see no reason not to do so.

If you are unhappy with the replacing feature you can always turn it off by removing line 18 from royal.js file:

jQuery('select, :checkbox').royalFormReplacer();
Orbital_Themes

Also, regarding buttons, there is indeed a cleaner way of achieving the same effect. I’ll have to test it out in IE though. I’ll look into it once I have some more time to spend on my TF projects. :)

In the “register.html” file, I think you added by mistake before every .

Example: Domain name

Great work! I love your theme =)!

I think your comment got stripped of some code here.
