Is it possible to get an html version of this? Not using ghost but dig the theme.
Hi, yes I’m working on a html template for this one. Stay tuned!
The footer doesn’t work in Safari…
Hi, thanks for pointing it out. What version of Safari and OS are you using?
I am using Safari 7.0 and the footer works for me. However, I do have a question, how hard would it be to expand the blog posts to more or less be a two column page. I like the tumblr like, but, do not want two column so to speak of blog posts, just a single.
Hi there, thanks for purchasing the theme! Regarding your questions on how hard would it be to expand the post to make it a single column, well you’ll have to know your HTML and a bit of CSS to make this work. If you’re comfortable editing please send me a ticket here http://cheriomedia.ticksy.com/ and I’ll walk you through the steps. Thanks!
Sadly, the form does not let me select what the ticket is for; thus resulting in it failing when I attempt to send it to you. With that said, I have taken a screen shot of a template, I am really into; and kind of want the idea of the content (links etc) on a sidebar and the blog contact in another column, please review: http://imgur.com/ylr2zJi (also, you can e-mail me at d a o e n i x @ g m a i l
Sorry about the form still setting this up. Anyway got the screenshot and I see what you would like to achieve here. I’ll get back to you with an email with the instructions.
Cool. Thnx. :°)
I think I’m gonna add these on the next update. An option to go with one or two columns on the homepage posts. Stay tuned!
Ah, well in the meantime, I did find a theme that is offering what I need. I’ll check back with you at another time.
Just submitted the update on Themeforest. You can now switch from a one column to two column layout by just adding .one-column and .two-column class on the body tag. You’ll be notified once the update has been approved. Thanks!
Clean work! Good luck, dude !
Load more posts only displays the next 6 posts and then says “no more posts to display” even if there over 12 published posts.
If I change posts per page to 3, it will only show a total of 6 posts when I click the “load more posts” button.
Can you please advise how to fix this?
Hi redk, thanks for pointing this out. This is a bug and now fixing it. I’ll add this on the next update. Cheers
It does not display site in Ghost 0.3.3.
I’ve activated it in the settings but front end site does not displayed. It returns empty HTML.
You need to restart your ghost server after activating the theme.
I’ve done it several times. It displays any other theme I’ve loaded.
Are you installing this on a local machine or a hosted server?
Thanks for the awesome work I love this theme!
As user @redk mentioned, the load more posts button doesn’t work past page two – you mentioned you will be fixing it on the next update – any idea when that will be?
Thanks for your feedback. I’m sending an update by the end of the week. Hope to get it approved early next week. Cheers!
The update has been approved. You can now download the theme. If you need any help let me know. Cheers!
Thanks a bunch but the issue isn’t resolved for me Still can only display two pages. Take a look if you’d like at http://blog.george.md
I see you’re still using the previous version. You need to get/download the new theme update and upload it on your server. Make sure to restart ghost
I know, I downloaded and reinstalled, however I think themeforest is giving me the old version to download because the supplied changelog doesn’t have the updated changes of 1.1, just 1.0.1 – can you please email me the files directly? george [at] germanos [dot] me
Sent. Make sure to check also your spam box just in case you don’t see my email.
Got it and reinstalled, but a couple of issues: 1) The load more post button now doesn’t work and shows up as three separate buttons – I’ve tried on two devices to make sure. 2) The page title ends in ‘dev’ – I fixed this on my page manually. Please take a look @ http://blog.george.md – sorry for the trouble but I love this theme so much I want it to work perfectly Thanks a ton for your help!
Not a problem George. I’d really love to see my theme to work perfectly like you do. Is there any chance that you still have a folder called “partials” on your previous installation? I’ve checked your site’s source code and it still has the old pagination I implemented. Please try this workaround: Rename your previously installed theme to a name other than “chimera”. Now, try to install the updated theme(v.1.1) you downloaded and activate that.
Weird, I wrote over the folder the first time but yes, you’re right! I deleted the whole folder and reinstalled and it’s now working like a charm! Thanks so much!
Glad to hear that it’s working now. If you ever need help let me know. Cheers!
Very nice theme! Super easy to configure, and excellent layout.
Thanks for your feedback! If you ever need help please head on to our support forums http://cheriomedia.com/support/ and we’ll be glad to assist you.
Hi, I think that ThemeForest aren’t supplying the latest version 1.1 as the demo works great (without horizontal scroll bars appearing in the browser at any time) but on my test site I’m having problems. I have a “partials” folder in my download and the changelog is for v1.0.1. Could you please send the latest version to : s [dot] mcdade [at] live.co.uk – thank you – love the theme!
Hi stevenM, thanks for your feedback and for reporting this issue. I’ll have to send an update to resolve this. Anyways just sent you the file, make sure to check your spam folder. Cheers!
I’m trying to disable the fixed author bio by removing the “fixed” class but it doesn’t work. I would also suggest that there would be a separate class for mobile layout. I think it would be useful to be able to have a fixed sidebar on desktop but no sidebar (or at the bottom) on mobile.
Also if some social icons are removed from the footer, the remaining icons don’t align to the right because of a fixed width on the parent element.
Hi, thanks for your suggestions and for purchasing the theme. Make sure you restart your ghost server after removing the “fixed” class to take effect.
I’m seeing that the author bio is not sticking. Is this what you would want to achieve? The “fixed” class makes the author bio stick on the screen even if you scroll down. That’s how it was supposed to work.
I see! I thought it handled the visibility of the bio in the individual posts. Then it’s working properly. I just thought that on mobile, having to scroll down through the bio on each post could become annoying so I want to hide it, or move it to the footer. Thanks for checking the website.
No problem. I’m glad everything is cleared out.
In you change notes for january 18. it says that there is support for static pages. But i don’t see any menu to make it possible to navigate to these pages.
