HI Cubell

I need advise about how to increase font size of text in any module (a to h) and post.

Thank you in advanced

You control that with:

.crit-title, .crit-score {  font-size: 12px; }

Hope that helps.

Cubell

It not work for positive and negative title and detail

For pros/cons detail, and then the title:

.cb-review-box-bottom ul li { font-size: 12px !important; }
h4, .h4 {  font-size: 16px; }

Best,

Cubell

The preview images have disappeared all of a sudden when viewing the tag or category sections of my Ciola website. This only happens on Chrome though on several computers, not just mine. There is just white space now, no images.

I tried to contact you privately because I don’t think it is an issue with the theme but rather something on my end. When viewing the website on Firefox or Comodo it works fine.

Do you have any thoughts? advise?

Hi MarvinLeug,

Thanks for choosing Ciola. Did you try disabling all plugins to see if one of them is causing issues? If so and that didn’t help open a ticket at http://cubellthemes.ticksy.com and include your URL to take a look.

Cubell

Hi, Will open a ticket now but I think it has to do with the latest Chrome update (ad the user below stated). The issue happens on other computers as well, while it works perfectly if I use a different browser.

- Marvin

Hi Marvin,

Thanks for that, if it happens to two users, it certainly sounds even stranger! I will investigate. Please do let me know in the ticket if you get the same issue when you go on to the demo site on your Chrome.

Cubell

Featured images have dissapeared here as well from display, they are still visible in the admin. The latest version of Chrome triggered it, some sort of incompatibility.

Yah same issue on the demo site for sure. Most of the main page looks fine except for the bottom left lifestyle category. Then most sections of the site (reviews, music, etc) have the same issue. Was thinking that it maybe could be some sort of CSS bug, the images are there in the HTML, they load fine via direct URL, they just arent displayed.

Chrome version (up-to-date): Version 45.0.2454.85 m

Hey again,

To test, can you copy/paste the following CSS code to your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:

img {
     -webkit-transform: none!important;
    -moz-transform:none!important;
    -ms-transform: none!important;
    -o-transform: none!important;
     transform: none!important;
    -webkit-backface-visibility: visible!important;
-moz-backface-visibility: visible!important;
    -ms-backface-visibility: visible!important;
    -o-backface-visibility: visible!important;
    backface-visibility: visible!important;
}
Let me know if that helps!

We also have this issue, maybe a CSS bug? (or javascript)

Hi, it’s a CSS3 transform bug in chrome. When you put the following code in your custom CSS, it works as a temp fix.

.cb-blog-style-b .mask img, .cb-blog-style-b, .cb-blog-style-b a, .cb-blog-style-b .cb-read-more {
  -webkit-transform: none;
}

Hey again,

Thanks for sharing that, it is indeed a Chome bug and they claim they will fix it, but until then try adding the other CSS snippet I shared. It applies to all browsers, but shouldn’t make a difference to the others.

I hope this helps.

Cubell

Thanks designinone for the temp fix, applied the following to mine since some pages have different styles:

.cb-blog-style-b .mask img, .cb-blog-style-b, .cb-blog-style-b a, .cb-blog-style-b .cb-read-more { -webkit-transform: none; } .cb-blog-style-a .mask img, .cb-blog-style-a, .cb-blog-style-a a, .cb-blog-style-a .cb-read-more { -webkit-transform: none; }

That did the trick

Appears it broke the slider though and a few other plugin setings, so i switched back.

Hi again,

Ah shucks! Chrome is due to release an update in about a week (apparently), however, until then, leave that code and share your URL so I can take a look at the slider to try to see what is going on.

Cubell

I have purchased the theme and installed it. The theme works great but if I try to install and activate the child theme, all I get is a blank page.

Hi Ericguttormson,

Thanks for choosing Ciola, I hope you enjoy using it.

That is very strange, could you please open up a ticket at http://cubellthemes.ticksy.com with your site’s URL to take a look?

Hi Cubell, in my site www.ge-bar.it with browsre Chrome (only with Chrome) I don’t see the thumbnail on the home page and in another page. I installed Ciola version 2.5. Can you help me? Thanks in advance for answer Eugenio

Hi Cubell, I have a problem with slider on module E. The previous and next button dont work, but only on google chrome. Can you help me with this. Sandzakpress.net

Hey Sfetic,

I think it may be a problem with your site’s Javascript. Try disabling all plugins to test if this is the case.

Hi Cubell,

First of all want to thank you for this amazing theme that I love.

I have a question concerning sidebar in home page. I use the module layout.

The problem I have is to display my sidebar correctly, I did not use the grid option and change a little the layout of module A.

Infortunatelly I do not know why my sidebar still going down instead of getting in the rigth position aligned to the others modules.

I have selected Rigthsidebar in the theme menu options.

The url is : http://www.jeux-sociaux.org

A little help would be really really appreciated!

Have a great day

Hi Pablinou,

Thanks for choosing Ciola and for the kind words :)

I had a look and that does look strange! But I think it may be related to an advert code you have added under the “pub” title. Can you test removing that and see if that was it?

Cubell

Hi Cubell!!

Thanks for your help and time,

Unfortunatelly, It do not seem to be that, you can check it out now. If you have other ideas I will be very very happy to try them!

I also test disable module A and just keep the other modules, and do not seem to work neither sidebar in same place!

Best regards and keep the good work!

It’s okay! But I am convinced it is that module A you have. Did you edit the code? Because that output isn’t the default module that comes in the theme, and this different output is definitely the cause.

Hi, i’m using ciola theme with another wordpress theme with multithemes plugin. The posts in my page use another theme layout, while my homepage and categories pages use ciola theme. Is there a way to add posts on my homepage slider or grid automatically? When i’m on post editor i’m using another theme template, so i’d have to change themes to mark post to homepage.

Hey Ceballos93,

Thanks for choosing Ciola. That sounds like a really specific/uncommon setup, and as such I’m afraid there isn’t much I can do to help. The theme uses standard WordPress functions, so if you can’t see posts, you will need to look at your setup to see how it can be done.

Cubell

Hi! I am using the Ciola theme and there is something simple (probably) that I cannot figure out. How can I enable user comments for a page (not a post)? “Allow comments” under Quick Edit is ticked, but the comments box appears for posts only, not for pages. Thanks!

Thank you for the answer! Yes, the option is enabled there, but does not seem to have any effect. Finally I could solve my problem by modifying the template-full-width file and adding the following lines:

<?php $cb_comments_onoff = ot_get_option(‘cb_comments_onoff’, ‘on’); ?>

<?php
  // Comments
  if ($cb_comments_onoff == 'cb_comments_on') { comments_template(); }
?>

Here is the site, by the way: http://www.supergoose.org/. I would not have been able to finish it without Ciola! Many thanks for the great theme.

Hey again,

I’m glad you managed to get it sorted :) And I’m happy the theme could help you! your site looks great, excellent job setting it up!

Cubell

Hi there…

Is this site using your theme?

http://www.couriermail.com.au/

Hi Shootmanagement,

Thanks for choosing Ciola, I hope you’re enjoying it :)

No, that site is not using Ciola, it looks like a custom made theme to me.
