I going to purchase this, just will be great if in you next update you add page with ajax content, some more Modal box examples, modal box with a form and validator, and some drad and drop content from a sidebar to a form, for example if and admin add a project to a user, the user just need to drag that into some plase and the form appear, great work, :)

Hi zelgrion,

Thanks!

Yes, I will consider including a page with content similar to what you are describing. Drag and drop is planned. A todo list template is coming in a future update and will include drag and drop re-ordering.

Hey zelgrion,

Just wanted to let you know, Clarity has been updated with a new drag and drop todo list template, iOS style scrollbars and more.

Hi, The “Notifications” icon cover’s the main menu when in mobile width view essentially removing all navigation cause you can only click the “3” box and not the dashboard, also , it appears to slightly cover the logo.

Can you explain how to fix this? Thanks

BryanMcAnulty

Hi ocnod,

I think I understand what you are saying, but it shouldn’t work like that. It works fine on an iPhone what device are you using?

Here is what the interface looks like on an iPhone. Clicking the notifications menu expands it and clicking again contracts, just like the desktop version. It is not preventing a user from navigating the page normally in anyway.

\\

If you could explain more how I might be able to reproduce this, I am happy to see if there is anything that needs to be fixed.

Thanks,

Bryan

I’m the mobile view when you click on the menu you cannot see nor scroll to the bottom of the menu. On an iPhone 4

BryanMcAnulty

Hey sparkingmatt,

With the addition of the gallery page in the last release the menu is now larger than the iPhones viewport and gets cut off.

Most users probably will not have that many pages and therefore will not have this issue. I would be happy to implement a scrollable menu to accomodate large amounts of pages. It is a simple fix.

Thanks, Bryan

will you fix some support on android based phone/tablet browser. on Dolphin: the calendar/tinyMCE [WYSIWYG] broke or misplaced on both landscape and portrait

on Chrome: the page can’t even scrolled down on portrait.

on stock browser: the page loaded, the calendar/tinyMCE [WYSIWYG] works fine. but the page scrolls are very.. laggy.. hard to explain this..

Regards Hafiz Bistar

BryanMcAnulty

Hi Hafiz,

We haven’t ran across this issue, but will we will look into potential issues on the stock android browser.

We do not directly support additional browsers on the Android platform, but if we can optimize for the stock browser, maybe conditions will improve on other browsers as well.

Thanks for the report!

Bryan

BryanMcAnulty

Hi Hafiz,

We’ve updated Clarity to include a new drag and drop todo list template, and also addressed scroll performance issues that some users experienced.

Bryan

Hi Bryan! Greetings from Brazil!

First of all, brilliant theme! I just buy it right now. This theme is the perfect fit for my project.

Just one detail: in some screen sizes, more than one scrollbar appears.

That’s it! I can not wait for the new version 1.2!

Thank you very much!

BryanMcAnulty

Hey paulocoghi,

Thanks for purchasing!

1.2 is almost finished and the scrollbar issue sometimes occurring has already been noted and will be fixed in 1.2 as well.

Thanks again!

Bryan

Hey paulocoghi,

Just wanted to let you know, Clarity has been updated with a new drag and drop todo list template, iOS style scrollbars and more.

Also the issue you noticed where sometimes more than one scrollbar would appear on desktops viewing a mobile version, has been fixed.

Bryan

Just bought your Theme.

Looks Amazing. Will Post my queries soon.

Thanks for the theme.

Thanks fasterfox9! Glad you like it!

BryanMcAnulty

Hey fasterfox9,

Just wanted to let you know, Clarity has been updated with a new drag and drop todo list template, iOS style scrollbars and more.

Bryan

Bryan,

Where is the Gritter Callback? I can’t find it on index page.

BryanMcAnulty

Hey fasterfox9,

Gritter is inside responsive.js and starts around line 232. Each page included in Clarity has an application.js file and a responsive.js file. The application file includes all javascript that will function on every device, and the responsive file has different scripts for different media queries so that mobile views don’t have to handle heavier unnecessary js.

It is described more in the documentation.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Best,

Bryan

Thanks Bryan,

Explanatory enough for me.

Ankit

Dear Bryan could we add accordion menu in the left. Thanks for your response

BryanMcAnulty

Hi livemakers,

If you mean adding the accordion present in the right sidebar, on the left sidebar, then yes, this could be placed on the left as well.

If you are referring to accordion submenu items for the left sidebar then yes, this is also planned in a future update. Version 1.2 is almost finished and this feature will probably be included in 1.3 which will be ready next month.

Thanks!

Bryan

Hey livemakers,

Just wanted to let you know, Clarity has been updated with a new drag and drop todo list template, iOS style scrollbars and more.

Version 1.3 is already in the works and will include accordion submenu’s in the left sidebar.

Version 1.3 is available for download now with accordion submenus!

Bryan

Hey everyone!

Clarity has been updated to version 1.2 with a new drag and drop todo list template, iOS style scrollbars and more.

Would love to hear your suggestions for additional features to include in version 1.3!

Bryan

Just purchased this theme and we love it. I was wondering if you could explain or show how I could add a submenu to the menu on the left to help us group our functions.

Keep up the great work.

John

BryanMcAnulty

Hey John,

Thanks for purchasing!

We are adding a submenu on the left sidebar in version 1.3. Implementing it yourself in the meantime would not be too difficult. You can use Bootstrap’s accordion (like the one currently in the right sidebar) and restyle it to fit the left menu style.

If you need more help on the specifics, send me a message through my profile. It will be easier to discuss via email.

Thanks,

Bryan

I’m noticing an issue on the ipad. When clicking on a pane, ie” center, west, east”, the pane momentarily dims for a few miliseconds. Any fix?

BryanMcAnulty

Hey gs99,

Thanks for purchasing! This isn’t actually a bug, but how an iPad behaves by default when the user taps somewhere.

It is very easy to remove though if you don’t like it, and we may include this in the next update as well.

Here’s the CSS you need to remove it:

body, a{
        -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
    }

You may need to add it to each pane if that doesn’t remove it from everywhere.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Bryan

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for the great theme. I am developing a project using this theme and i am in the middle of it. I just found that you have updated the theme to 1.2. I noticed few bugs which i noticed were fixed! e.g:

Fixed an issue where some mobile devices would have trouble scrolling. Fixed an issue where in certain conditions mutiple scrollbars would appear if a user tried to view mobile versions on a desktop display.

Just to make sure, is it only the CSS or JS files? because i don’t want to mess up with the page code again.

Thanks again! Ankit

BryanMcAnulty

Hey Ankit,

Thank you. There were many small changes made, and some where in the HTML too.

The easiest way to track the changes would be to use a diff tool to compare the code from the two versions. Kaleidoscope for the mac is a great tool for this and if you are on windows you should try out WinMerge.

I do not remember exactly but I think the scrolling fix was an adjustment to only the CSS . This CSS has to be on the correct containers for mobile scrolling to perform the best:
overflow-y: auto;
-webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Best,

Bryan

Bryan,

Thanks for the Info! I will update my Project. I recently found that “datepicker” is working only in left and right sidebars. Can you Please look into this matter?

Eagerly waiting for your Next release.

Thanks, Ankit

BryanMcAnulty

Hi Ankit,

If you want to render multiple datepickers on one page then each datepicker needs a different id. You need to add another line of javascript to reference that id as well.

Best,

Bryan

Here are Some jquery plugins that you can use: Toggle Buttons Ideal Forms Zoomooz

Best of Luck!

Ankit

BryanMcAnulty

Thanks for the suggestions Ankit. We already have a custom toggle button plugin in mind that is even better.

Great! I will love to see it in next update.

Hi,

I would like the east panel to be open by default. What line in the jquery. layout.js do I need to change to set it to open.

Thank you
BryanMcAnulty

Hey Lloyd996,

Thanks for purchasing!

Take a look at line 24 and line 54 of responsive.js. That is the file that has the layout state settings.

Simply change “east__initClosed: true” to false on both of those lines.

Best,

Bryan

Hi Bryan

Any ideas when version 1.3 will be released, I’m extremely impressed and am looking forward to the accordion submenu on the lefthand side bar?

Thanks Mike

BryanMcAnulty

Hey Mike,

Glad to hear! We have a lot in the pipeline but it looks like version 1.3 will be ready before the middle of December.

Hi,

“We have a lot in the pipeline but it looks like version 1.3 will be ready before the middle of December.”

Is this still the case? I have some time over the holidays and would like to integrate the theme into my site.

BryanMcAnulty

Hey Jeff!

Yes, we are a little bit behind, but we are working on getting 1.3 released this week.

Thanks,

Bryan

Great Template

I would like to know how I can turn of the hover action for the thumbnails . Currently when you hover over a thumbnail image, a large image appears.

I am having trouble find the css or javascript that controls this functionality

Thank you

BryanMcAnulty

Hey Lloyd996,

It is an easy adjustment. You will only need to edit the main css file you are using (either core.css or one of the other colors).

All you need to do is delete the three transform lines (lines 2897-2899) under .thumbnail:hover.

Let me know if you need anything else!

Best,

Bryan
